Studi Literatur Kerapatan Tanaman terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produktivitas Tanaman Cabai Merah Keriting

This research is a literature study that examines the influence of plant density on the growth and productivity of curly red chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.). The study aims to understand the relationship between plant density and other production factors, such as the use of organic fertilizers, growth regulators (ZPT), and planting seasons, as well as their influence on fruit quality and socio-cultural aspects. Through a comprehensive literature analysis, this research identifies that the ideal plant density (between 40-50 cm between plants) can increase the productivity of curly red chili plants. However, excessive density can lead to competition between plants, hindering growth and reducing yields.  Furthermore, the use of organic fertilizers such as goat manure bokashi and hormonal ZPT has been proven to contribute positively to the growth and productivity of curly red chili plants. The research also highlights the importance of different management strategies for each planting season to maximize income and emphasizes the importance of understanding the socio-cultural aspects of curly red chili in the development of sustainable cultivation practices. The results of this research are expected to provide practical recommendations for farmers to increase yields and support the sustainability of local agricultural practices.
