Religious moderation plays a crucial role in Indonesia, a society with diverse beliefs and religious backgrounds. Religious leaders, with government support, strive to prevent violence and intolerance in Indonesia. One approach used is interfaith moderation. The concept of moderate Islam becomes a significant religious perspective in addressing diversity in Indonesia. To strengthen the role of Islamic schools (madrasah) in combating radicalism and extremism, religious moderation needs to be incorporated into the madrasah curriculum. The aim of this approach is to mediate between two extreme poles while emphasizing the importance of internalizing religious teachings on one side and understanding the context of religious texts on the other side. To examine this issue, the research was conducted using qualitative methods, particularly a case study. This method aims to find meaning, investigate processes, and gain in-depth understanding of individuals, groups, or situations. In analyzing the data, the researcher applied an interactive model. Data analysis activities include data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The research results indicate that religious moderation instilled in students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Khairat Kwandang, North Gorontalo Regency, not only occurs in formal settings but is also integrated into every learning session. One form of moderation practiced by students is providing advice to fellow students, fostering a sense of care among them.

This research is motivated by the importance of critical discourse analysis in the Representation of Indonesian Leaders Post Covid-19. This study aims to reveal the representation of the Indonesian government after covid-19 through covid-19 news. This research method uses a critical paradigm that focuses on multilevel methods. Discourse analysis in research also focuses on the ideology carried by online media. The approach in this study uses an approach developed by van Dijk. Research data is sourced from COVID-19 news throughout 2020. The accuracy of this research is also maintained because it uses layered search sources according to the critical discourse analysis approach in accordance with Fairclough's theory. The results of the discourse analysis show that CNN and BCC have similarities in representing the handling of Covid-19 in Indonesia, namely: the Indonesian government, under Jokowi's leadership, is not able to handle Covid-19 properly. From the point of view of critical discourse analysis, such representations contain partiality. This strengthens van Dijk's (2013) opinion that a text contains dominance and partisanship. In fact, according to Holmes & Castañeda (2016), representation can be considered as truth. The representation provided by CNI and BCI is also motivated by social elements, as stated by Fairclough (2013) that discourse is always related to social elements, including power, ideology, institutions, and other identities.

This article shows a methodological study of Islamic Studies in the West and East. Even though they both study Islam, there are distinctive characteristics of each study period that result in gaps between the two. This paper is intended to answer the questions (1) How is the concept of Islamic studies in the West and East (2) How is the inclusiveness of Islamic studies in the West and East. (3) How is the inclusiveness of Islamic studies in the West and East. This problem is discussed through library research studies. All data was analyzed descriptively focusing on a systematic explanation of the facts obtained during the research. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region has experienced tremendous growth in the higher education sector with many public but internationally recognized universities, colleges, and programs. Annually, within and outside of the GCC zone, high school students and guardians undergo repeatable and time-consuming experiences for inhomogeneous university, college, and program admission and tracking processes. This research project aims to provide a unified management tool to manage the admission and tracking process to multiple accredited GCC universities, colleges, and programs through one unified central mobile-based application. The research project aimed to achieve two objectives: exploring the GCC university admission process phenomena and developing and evaluating a unified mobile-based university admission application (denoted by HEIM) for higher education institutes' mobile applications. An Agile-SDLC methodology was employed, entailing two phases; the Exploratory phase to the phenomena of the university admission process and the development and evaluation phase of the potential mobile application. The 1st phase was based on an interview with the Ministry of Education (MOE), employing SLR and CA techniques for articles and mobile applications collection and analysis, and 1st questionnaire to collect user requirements. The 2nd phase employed several design techniques, including DFD, ERD, etc., a 2nd questionnaire to collect system requirements and coding by .NET MAUI, C#, and XAML, and a 3rd questionnaire to evaluate the usability of HEIM based on Nielsen heuristics at which the empirical findings revealed 97.7% of usability.
