The findings of this study indicate that work environment, job satisfaction, and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the commitment of teachers and staff at Petukangan Selatan 01 Public Elementary School. This shows that a conducive work environment, such as adequate facilities, supportive colleagues, and a comfortable atmosphere, can increase the sense of belonging and loyalty among employees. Job satisfaction, which includes aspects such as fairness in rewards, recognition of achievements, and appropriate workloads, also contributes to strengthening work commitment. In addition, motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, plays a central role in encouraging employees to perform their duties with responsibility and enthusiasm. These findings also reinforce the importance of creating a balance between external factors (such as work environment) and internal factors (such as motivation and job satisfaction) to achieve strong commitment. Therefore, the implication of this research is that school management needs to continuously improve working conditions, develop fair reward systems, and provide opportunities for career development. By doing so, the commitment of teachers and staff can be maintained and even enhanced, which in turn will support the achievement of school goals more effectively.

This study examines organizational communication within the General Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of Pasuruan Regency in handling violations during the 2024 Regional Elections (Pilkada). Using a qualitative case study approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving Bawaslu members, technical staff, and the Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Gakkumdu). The results show that vertical and horizontal communication flows are generally effective in supporting internal coordination and violation handling, despite challenges such as limited human resources, high workloads, and inter-agency coordination gaps. To address these, Bawaslu strengthens internal meetings, leverages digital media, provides technical training, and enhances external collaboration and public outreach. The study concludes that effective organizational communication significantly improves election monitoring performance and offers insights for communication strategies in other supervisory bodies. To address these issues, Bawaslu has taken several proactive steps. These include strengthening internal meetings to improve coordination and decision-making, leveraging digital media for more efficient communication and reporting, providing technical training to staff to enhance their skills in violation detection and reporting, and fostering stronger collaboration with external agencies such as Gakkumdu for coordinated law enforcement. Additionally, Bawaslu has focused on improving public outreach through social media campaigns to increase awareness of the electoral process and violations. The study concludes that effective organizational communication significantly improves election monitoring performance and offers insights for communication strategies in other supervisory bodies. It recommends that other institutions facing similar challenges in managing complex, multi-agency processes adopt similar strategies to improve both internal and external communication for more efficient operations and outcomes.

According to Law Number 6 of 2023, which stipulates a maximum of 40 working hours per week, a survey conducted by the Kompas Daily Data Journalism Team reveals that the average working hours of lecturers in Indonesia reach 69.64 hours per week throughout 2024. This data highlights a significant discrepancy between the legal provisions and the reality of lecturers' workloads. Despite the law setting limits, many lecturers at Indonesian state universities are facing workloads that far exceed the stipulated working hours. These workloads consist of teaching responsibilities, research, community service, campus administration, and even side jobs, making it clear that the working conditions for lecturers are far from ideal. Moreover, the low salaries, especially for lecturers in private universities, have severe implications not only on individual welfare but also on the broader educational system. The low income of lecturers contributes to a looming teaching crisis on campus, which will inevitably affect the quality of education and lecturer performance. This crisis is further reflected in public sentiment. Google Trend data shows a sharp increase in searches for the phrase "don't be a lecturer," reaching a peak of 100 at the end of January 2025, indicating a growing disillusionment with the profession. In addition, a staggering 76.5% of lecturers have side jobs outside of their academic duties. The most common side jobs include consulting (32.4%), teaching (18.9%), research (16.2%), and writing (2.7%). A smaller percentage (5.41%) are engaged in informal work, such as being online motorcycle taxi drivers. These figures reveal the heavy burden on lecturers to seek additional income, which ultimately compromises their focus and performance in their primary academic roles.

This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with the aim of describing and analyzing issues related to employee work discipline. A qualitative approach is utilized by relying on both primary and secondary data. The primary data in this research were obtained through direct field observation, interviews, and documentation of employee work activities, while secondary data were collected from books, journals, and other literature relevant to the topic of work discipline. The main data sources consist of interview transcripts with four informants, including from HRD, Project Control, and two staff at PT Safemax Indonesia. Informants were selected purposively, as they were considered to have a deep understanding of the situation and dynamics of work discipline within the company. The primary objective of this research is to understand how work discipline is implemented, the influencing factors, and the challenges faced in its application. The findings reveal that although the company has established clear standards and rules, the implementation of work discipline still faces challenges such as ineffective communication, high workload, fatigue, and external factors like weather and field conditions. These findings highlight the need for improved managerial strategies and more adaptive motivational approaches to foster a more disciplined and productive work culture.

This research examines the challenges of professionalism of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) through literature review. BK services have an important role in supporting students' academic and psychosocial development, but face obstacles such as the limited number of professional BK teachers and educational backgrounds that are not in accordance with the BK field. The non-ideal ratio of teachers to students and high workload also hamper the effectiveness of services. In addition, the management of services that are not yet based on student needs and the lack of continuous training are significant challenges. This study used a literature review method with descriptive analysis to identify these factors. The results suggest improving the quality of human resources through professional training, strengthening service management, and policy support from madrasahs and the government. The professionalism of counseling teachers has a direct impact on the quality of services that affect students' academic achievement and psychosocial well-being. The main recommendation is to increase the recruitment of qualified counseling teachers and continuous competency development to support effective and relevant counseling services in MAN.

The nursing education process was implemented through clinical practice in hospitals. However, the heavy workload of nurses and clinical instructors often hindered the optimal provision of guidance to students. Therefore, efforts were necessary to enhance the competencies of nursing educators and clinical instructors. The development of these competencies required support from both formal and non-formal education. One form of non-formal education was the implementation of preceptorship and mentorship training programs. These programs were expected to strengthen the quality of student guidance in clinical settings. The methods employed included lectures, role-playing, and hands-on application in inpatient care units. The training outcomes indicated a significant improvement in the clinical instructors’ ability to effectively carry out preceptorship and mentorship roles.

This study aims to analyze employee performance at the Batuceper District Office, Tangerang City, using a qualitative descriptive approach. Performance analysis refers to six indicators according to Robbins: work quantity, work quality, timeliness, effectiveness, independence, and work commitment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with sub-district officials and the community as service recipients, direct observation of work processes, and documentation of ongoing service activities. The results indicate that employee performance is generally in the fairly good category, particularly in terms of work quantity and timeliness. Employees are able to complete their workload according to targets and most services are provided on time. However, in terms of effectiveness, obstacles were found in optimal resource utilization. Some employees still show a dependence on superiors' directions in decision-making, so work independence has not been fully realized. Work quality is considered quite adequate, although there are still complaints from some members of the public regarding the consistency and detail of services. Employee work commitment is generally maintained, reflected in high attendance rates and a willingness to work outside operating hours when needed. However, improvements in the provision of supporting facilities, including the use of information technology, are considered important to support more effective performance. This study recommends ongoing training focused on improving technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and independent decision-making. Furthermore, improvements to service infrastructure, such as modern work equipment and digital administration systems, are needed to expedite public service delivery. Implementing these recommendations is expected to create more professional, responsive staff performance that aligns with the principles of excellent service, while simultaneously increasing public trust in government performance at the sub-district level.

The Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) is a technology-based application used to manage personnel data in a centralized, efficient, and accurate manner. SIMPEG enables various administrative processes, such as payroll, promotions, and employee data management, to be automated, which were previously done manually and prone to errors. This study discusses the concept of SIMPEG, its implementation stages, and its benefits in improving efficiency, data accuracy, service transparency, quick decision-making, and centralized resource management. The research findings show that SIMPEG reduces manual workload, enhances the accuracy and speed of access to employee data, and supports better and more timely decision-making. In addition, SIMPEG increases transparency in administrative processes, reduces operational costs, and strengthens public trust in government institutions. However, the successful implementation of SIMPEG depends on the readiness of technological infrastructure and user training. Therefore, infrastructure development and training are crucial to optimizing SIMPEG use throughout Indonesia.
