This study examines the performance of student administrative services in the Society 5.0 era at the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Planning of Gorontalo State University, focusing on scholarship services. It addresses the need for accessible, responsive, transparent, inclusive, and student-centered administrative services in higher education. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Informants included bureau leaders, scholarship and financial aid administrators, operational officers, and students receiving various scholarship schemes. Thematic analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while validity was ensured through source triangulation, method triangulation, and member checking. The findings show that accessibility has improved through service counters, websites, social media, WhatsApp, online forms, SIMPEL BAKP, and coordination with faculties and study programs. However, information remains fragmented, digital standard operating procedures are not uniform, and disability-inclusive access is limited. Responsiveness is supported by direct and digital communication, but it lacks a dedicated complaint system, automatic notifications, selection-status dashboards, and real-time disbursement tracking. Service quality is perceived as fairly good because students experience professional, friendly, and fair treatment. Nevertheless, service documentation, procedural standardization, staff training, and humanistic technology integration need strengthening. The study concludes that scholarship administration should be transformed into a centralized, inclusive, responsive, transparent, and student-centered digital-humanistic service model.

Digital fraud, particularly schemes involving the distribution of fake wedding invitations through instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp, has developed into a serious problem in Indonesia along with the increasing use of digital technology in everyday life. This fraudulent modus operandi exploits victims’ curiosity, trust, and panic to prompt them to open malicious links or download harmful files containing malware. Such malware has the potential to damage device systems, steal personal data, and access sensitive information, including banking accounts and social media profiles. This form of fraud not only causes significant financial losses for victims but also results in psychological impacts, such as fear, trauma, and a loss of trust in digital communication. This article aims to comprehensively examine the modus operandi of digital fraud through fake wedding invitations, analyze the relevant legal framework, and assess the social and economic impacts on society. In addition, the article emphasizes the importance of improving digital literacy as an effective preventive measure to minimize the risk of digital fraud. To address this issue, the article proposes strengthening cooperation among law enforcement agencies, cybersecurity institutions, and technology service providers. Recommendations are also directed toward reinforcing regulations, enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement, and intensifying public awareness campaigns to reduce the incidence of digital fraud in Indonesia.

This study examines the implementation of care governance in environmental public administration by highlighting the role of non-human actors. Based on Actor–Network Theory (ANT), exploratory qualitative research was conducted in the densely populated area of Tanjungpinang (April–June 2025). In environmental management, success is determined not only by technical skills, but also by the capacity of citizens to manage digital documents, spatial data, and technological infrastructure. Through interviews, observations, and document analysis. This approach was chosen because it allows for in-depth exploration of complex, contextual, and previously unstudied social phenomena, especially in the context of care governance to involve the relationship between humans and non-human objects in the local government ecosystem. Findings show that flood sensors, digital SOPs, inter-agency WhatsApp groups, and monitoring dashboards function as actors that trigger, direct, and accelerate coordination and decision-making. The integration of sensors and dashboards automates early warnings and the distribution of instructions, enabling rapid response. This study aims to analyze the role of digital communication between parents and schools in improving the effectiveness of student attendance administration and scholarship management at SMA XYZ, and to identify factors influencing its implementation within a sustainable educational ecosystem. The research employed a narrative literature review approach with a comprehensive literature analysis from major academic databases, including Google Scholar and ProQuest Education Database, covering publications from 2010 to 2024. Data were collected through systematic searches using keyword combinations of digital communication, parent-school communication, educational technology, student attendance, scholarship administration, and family engagement, followed by thematic analysis to identify patterns and research gaps. Digital communication demonstrated high intensity (4.2/5 score) with WhatsApp as the dominant platform (65%). While 70% of parents increased their academic involvement, only 45% provided appropriate emotional support. Significant barriers included digital divide (30% infrastructure constraints), digital literacy gaps (25%), and boundary management issues (40% of teachers contacted outside working hours). Digital communication improved administrative transparency and real-time monitoring, though communication patterns remained predominantly unidirectional, with only 35% of parents providing active feedback. The study contributes to Digital Education Communication Theory by identifying paradoxes in digital parental engagement and confirming Digital Divide Theory in educational contexts. Findings expand Family Engagement Theory by revealing how real-time information access can create surveillance parenting behaviors that may be counterproductive to student well-being. Results indicate an urgent need for comprehensive digital communication policies, parent digital literacy programs, and infrastructure support to create an equitable and sustainable digital educational ecosystem that balances accessibility with professional boundaries.

This study discusses the phenomenon of silent lead in digital marketing strategy Amanah Bunda Daycare Semarang. This phenomenon refers to potential customers who have made an initial interaction through WhatsApp Business After seeing Meta Ads ads, but then do not continue communication or convert into customers. The phenomenon of silent leads is an important concern because although the digital marketing process manages to reach the target audience and trigger an initial response, the interaction does not continue until the purchase or registration stage of the service. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the characteristics of passive behavior. The Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the internal manager of Amanah Bunda Daycare and five informants identified as silent leads. The results showed that the passive attitude of potential customers is influenced by several main factors, namely the location that is considered less strategic or too far, the perception of prices that are considered high, personal conditions such as changes in plans or time constraints, as well as the quality of customer service communication that is perceived to be less than optimal in providing responses, information, and personal approach. This phenomenon has not been fully accommodated in classic conversion models such as Aida (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and model 5A (Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, Advocate). This shows that there are gaps in marketing communication strategies, especially in managing potential customers who initially respond positively but stop before conversion. Therefore, this study recommends the development of a more empathetic, structured and sustainable approach to communication. Suggested strategies include improving customer service systems based on quick response and personalization, implementing polite but consistent follow-up strategies, and composing marketing content that is able to build trust and emotional connection with potential customers. With these measures, it is expected that silent leads can be minimized and conversion rates increased significantly.
