Malpractice in dental health services has become a complex legal issue as public awareness of service quality and patient rights continues to increase. The enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health introduces important changes in regulating the legal accountability of medical personnel, including dentists, particularly in relation to criminal liability for malpractice. This study analyzes the forms of dental malpractice and the criminal responsibility of dentists under the new Health Law. The research uses an empirical legal method with sociological and statutory approaches. Data were obtained through interviews and a review of relevant legislation, legal doctrines, and court decisions. The results show that dental malpractice can arise from negligence, failure to comply with professional standards, violations of standard operating procedures, and the absence or disregard of informed consent. Law Number 17 of 2023 stipulates that criminal liability for dentists can only be applied after a recommendation from the Professional Discipline Board, ensuring a clear distinction between inherent medical risks and professional misconduct. This framework is designed to provide balanced legal protection for both patients and dentists while strengthening legal certainty in malpractice case resolution. Consequently, dentists must understand professional standards and criminal liability mechanisms to practice responsibly and professionally.

This study explores the profound impact of teacher personality competence on student character formation through a descriptive narrative lens grounded in the sociology of education. Education is not merely a technical transfer of knowledge but a complex social process where the teacher acts as a pivotal moral agent and role model. By synthesizing classical sociological paradigms—Functionalism, Conflict Theory, and Symbolic Interactionism—with contemporary empirical evidence, this article argues that a teacher's personality is a dynamic social construct that shapes the "hidden curriculum" and the overall school climate. The narrative analysis reveals that traits such as empathy, integrity, and social justice are not just individual attributes but essential tools for moral socialization and the internalization of collective values. The study finds that teachers who embody these virtues foster a sense of social belonging and ethical responsibility in students, effectively bridging the gap between individual identity and societal expectations. The article concludes that strengthening teacher personality competence is a strategic imperative for developing a resilient and morally grounded generation, recommending integrated professional development that emphasizes the teacher's role as a moral authority in the 21st-century social landscape.

Because generally, BPD and village apparatus do not have the ability to draft village regulations, especially in Gebangan Village, even though the issuance of Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages demands BPD productivity in producing legal products, especially in. This condition occurs because most BPD and its members do not have an educational background in the legal field, many are even only junior high and high school graduates or even did not graduate from school, so they do not understand enough about the issues in village regulations. In addition to not knowing about the procedures and mechanisms for drafting village regulations. The social transformation that has occurred in the digital era has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to developments in information technology to increase competitiveness and expand market reach. One form of this adaptation is the use of e-commerce platforms as a means of marketing and managing their businesses online. This community service activity aims to empower the Kartika Taro Chips MSME through the introduction and implementation of an e-commerce platform based on Odoo.com, an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This activity was carried out by students of the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, Victory University Sorong, with the assistance of lecturers from the Information Systems and Sociology fields. The training method includes several stages, namely: the stage of material preparation and analysis of participant needs, the implementation of a workshop that includes the installation and configuration of Odoo.com, and the post-training mentoring stage to ensure the sustainability and independence of participants in managing their online stores. The results of the training showed that participants were not only able to build and manage online stores independently, but also understood the basic concepts of ERP systems and experienced a significant increase in digital literacy. From a sociological perspective, this activity reflects a technology-driven social transformation process, where MSMEs are actively expanding their social networks through digital spaces and increasing their involvement in the digital economy. This demonstrates that integrating technological and social approaches can be a relevant MSME empowerment model in local contexts. Overall, this training has had a positive impact on strengthening MSMEs' digital capacity and opening up new opportunities for sustainable business development in the era of digital transformation.

This technical guidance (bimtek) activity was held with the primary objective of improving the digital capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) members of the Papua Gallery in Sorong City. The approach used was quite unique because it combined information technology, specifically the e-commerce platform Odoo, with a sociological perspective of religion. This approach places the values of faith, community ethics, and local culture as the main foundation in the digital transformation process being carried out. This activity was carried out by a team of lecturers from Victory University Sorong from the Information Systems and Sociology of Religion Study Program, and involved students as part of community service. The implementation process included several stages: an assessment of MSMEs' digital needs, technical training on using Odoo, direct assistance in implementing the dare store, evaluation of results, and ongoing follow-up. In addition, this activity also helped strengthen the branding and presence of local Papuan culture through digital media. This faith- and cultural-based training model has proven effective and relevant for replication in other MSME communities in different regions, especially those with strong local cultural and religious potential.
