The purpose of this research is to design a basic food sales information system at Misman Store to assist the performance of Store employees in processing data and selling basic necessities which still use a manual recording system in managing stocks and transactions in the store, which causes inefficiencies in monitoring inventory of goods. Research using qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study, among others, make it easier for employees at misman shops to complete the main tasks of selling goods such as data management to be easier, more efficient, and effective with this system. sales and sales transaction reports. The designed web-based information system has several main features such as system login, dashboard, item category management, inventory management, and transaction recording and reporting. This system is designed to improve the efficiency of store operations and facilitate the management of goods data and sales transactions.

However, at Toko Tri Karya, the process of selling groceries is still done manually, starting from inputting sales data to making reports. This causes various obstacles, such as delays in data processing and the possibility of errors. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and design a web-based sales information system that can improve efficiency and effectiveness in data management. This system will be designed using the PHP programming language, which will provide convenience for the admin in managing sales information. Hopefully, with the application of this computerized system, Toko Tri Karya can overcome existing problems and achieve more optimal results.

Technological developments are increasingly rapid, as evidenced by the large number of individuals and businesses from various industries who depend on computers to support their daily operations, as well as the small, medium and medium sectors. Large companies that already manage payroll processing tasks every month certainly require the use of computers so that the process can function properly. It is hoped that the web-based stationery sales information system at Istana Anugerah can stimulate public interest in purchasing the shop's merchandise. This information system is expected to facilitate consumers' ability to place orders from any location without having to physically visit the store, as well as facilitating the sales department's ability to produce sales reports more quickly and without errors.

Pondok Baru Furniture Store located in Makamhaji Kartasura is a business that operates in the field of manufacturing and selling furniture. There are problems in managing sales transaction data, stock of goods, and sales reports which still use manual methods, sometimes resulting in errors in recording. The current purchasing system which requires coming to the shop to see and buy the products being sold is very troublesome. And consumers want to know about the products being sold without having to come to the shop directly. Therefore, researchers created a web-based sales information system to overcome this problem. The method used in system development is the prototype method with data collection through interviews. The result is a web sales information system design that makes it easier for buyers to access products offered anywhere and carry out purchase transactions online. This system design is expected to produce more accurate data in processing sales data and sales reports.

This research aims to design a website-based online store by utilizing a recommendation system with content-based filtering. The recommendation system is useful to help buyers get product suggestions that are in accordance with their preferences. The development method used in this research is the Waterfall model with the stages of needs analysis, design, program code generation, and testing. Researchers also use the UML model to help design the system and use the Laravel framework for website development. Based on the results of this study, the online store system designed has benefits for customers, because they can shop anywhere without having to come to the store directly. The recommendation system used also helps customers in choosing perfumes that match their preferences.

Furniture has high added value and significant global competitiveness, largely due to the diversity of natural raw materials available in Indonesia, such as wood, rattan, and bamboo, as well as distinctive and high-quality designs. This advantage is supported by the skills and competence of the available human resources, making Indonesian furniture superior to products from other countries. Product quality is a key element in winning market competition, as it impacts customer satisfaction and loyalty. Masnur Joglo, a furniture company located on Jl. Muara Karya, specializes in producing various types of furniture from high-quality woods such as super mahogany and red teak. However, the purchasing system, which requires customers to visit the store directly and manually record prices, results in inefficiencies in terms of time and transportation costs. Customers often need to visit multiple stores to find the desired product, which is an inefficient process. To address these challenges, this study proposes the development of an Android-based sales application as a solution. This application is designed to expand Masnur Joglo's market reach and facilitate online ordering of furniture products, anytime and anywhere. The study aims to design and develop an Android-based sales information system that can enhance operational efficiency and streamline the sales process while better meeting customer needs. The application development method employs the waterfall model and uses MySQL and Firebase databases.

The lack of information conveyed to the public, resulting in a lack of knowledge the community regarding the sales of the ce florist shop in PALI district due to the sales information system that was carried out at the ce florist bouquet shop is still manual, namely people who want to know about the latest information about bouquet items must come directly so that it is more effective and efficient, because it takes a lot of time to arrive at the ce florist's bouquet shop. So from the researcher will make an android information system for the ce florist bouquet shop which will be accessed through the application that we install using Flutter programming language. This study uses the method (SDLC) Waterfall as a development method to be used when designing and build applications, while the research methods to be used is a descriptive method through a qualitative approach. Research collecting data through direct observation, interviews and library research. help tool uml design to help design the system to be created. With the existence of this android application hopefully helps people save time when want to shop at the ce florist bouquet shop.

: This study aims to evaluate the sales information system at UMKM CKS using the COBIT 5 framework. Initial observations revealed several issues, including an unresponsive user interface and a complicated check-out process. The audit results showed an average maturity level of 1.56 or 156%, indicating a Fully Achieved (F) status with a systematic approach. However, on the capability model scale, it is at level 1, which is the Performed Process. The conclusion of this research indicates that although the sales information system has been successfully implemented, there is a need for innovation and enhancement of consumer services, as well as better communication between the company and consumers to improve the effectiveness of the information system.

As a beginner in the business of exotic animals provider, Rumbur Exotic Pet run the business activities manually and do not utilise advanced technology, so it’s performance is less effective and efficient. Therefore, adequate technological support is needed to improve business performance and productivity through designing a Java-based sales information system. This research use the Waterfall model as one of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) software development methods. The system design tools that used are Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The results of designing a Java-based sales information system can increase work effectiveness and efficiency, facilitate data collection and storage of sales information, produce detailed and accurate reports, and encourage productivity and profitability.

This research aims to identify the issues faced by one of the paint distributors in managing their sales information system. The study notes that despite the store's successful sales activities, the utilization of the sales information system remains limited, with the store preferring to manage products without online information handling applications. Based on observations, some weaknesses of the current system include lack of stock data accuracy, hindrances in providing real-time stock information, and limitations in tracking stock changes. The author suggests providing training to users of the web-based sales information system and establishing clear task allocation, as well as system improvements to address existing weaknesses. These suggestions are expected to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sales management and meet the needs of both administrators and buyers.

This research focuses on selling android-based coffee powder to disseminate semende specialty coffee. The purpose of this study is to design a sales application that has not been optimal so far and sales of cemente coffee powder have increased more than before. This is the background for this research. In collecting data, researchers used qualitative descriptive methods including conducting interviews, observation and literature study. So that data is obtained that there is no available access that makes it easy for UMKM Ms. Nurbaiti's to market this special cement coffee powder. The results of this study are in the form of an Android-based application design for the sale of original cement coffee powder for UMKM Ms. Nurbaiti's s which is expected to help with the problems that occur. Using an Android-based sales information system can help UMKM owners and buyers sell and buy coffee powder quickly, for the system development method using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method.

Serasan Jaya 3 Building Materials Wood Depot is a business engaged in the sale of building material products, especially wood. Until now the Serasan Jaya 3 Building Materials Timber Depot only uses a manual sales and transaction system, which in this case requires a new breakthrough to keep up with technological developments that are developing in the current era because basically almost all ages demand something practical and easier. By looking at some of the existing problems, the researcher tries to design and build an information system for selling goods at the Serasan Jaya 3 Building Materials Wood Depot based on Android, therefore, the author chose this topic for a thesis entitled "Android-Based Sales Information System at Wood Materials Depot Serasan Jaya 3 Building With the Extreme Programming Development Method” which of course provides speed and convenience for the public to make transactions using mobile phones or mobile-based communication devices such as smartphones, tablets, gadgets, and so on. So that it can make it easy for the Serasan Jaya 3 Building Materials Timber Depot to promote products, product prices and make it easier for people to buy products and find out the prices of building material products from mobile devices. This journal discusses the information system that will be designed as a means of selling electric motor by PT Talabu.Traditional motor cars are being replaced by more ecologically friendly electric motors, which are growing in popularity. PT. Talabu, an electric motor sales company, faces problems in inventory management and sales processes. This study's primary goal is to develop a sales information system that can help PT. Talabu in managing inventory and its operations. This research uses system needs analysis, database design, and user interface development. At the stage of analysis of system needs, the researchers found the primary needs of PT. Talabu to conduct sales operations and inventory management. This analysis shows that a database is intended to store data about customers, electric motors, and sales transactions. In addition, the app is simple to use and user-friendly.

Housemart Cirebon is a trading company engaged in staple goods located on Jalan Cideng Indah, Cirebon Regency - West Java. Cirebon Housemart provides basic ingredients from national brands ranging from household needs, baby products, to body and beauty care products. At present the business activities carried out are somewhat less effective. Sales, promotions and orders are still done manually, this is less effective because there is no detailed information on what products are being sold to buyers. . Recording and checking of transaction data, customer data, goods data, is still done manually in written document archives, data loss is still very likely to occur. The development method used to design the system uses the prototype method. The results of this research are in the form of a web-based Housemart Cirebon Sales Information System that is capable of performing sales, ordering and data processing services at Cirebon Housemart so that it can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of performance and time. The hope is to be able to provide complete information regarding the ordering process, services and promotions so that it is even better at Housemart Cirebon.

Kaliwungu Dream Building Shop is a business engaged in the sale of building materials and building-producing tools. This trading business sells various materials and tools for building buildings such as sand, cement, nails, paint, hammers and so on. The Dream Building Shop was founded by Mr. Zaenal, whose address is Jalan Raya Sekopek No. 10 Sarirejo Kaliwungu, Kendal Regency. Kaliwungu Dream Building Shop in recording sales transactions, purchases and reports - reports still use the manual method by writing them into a book, this method still requires time which is relatively old and prone to calculation errors, as a result you have to work 2 times or even many times to recalculate transactions that occur. Factors that are generally controlled are human errors that occur in cooking data and storing & maintaining paper-shaped documents, where this is very difficult to overcome. In addition, the process of searching for data or inventory is also less effective and efficient. also affect customers, even though performance according to the store is needed to satisfy customers.

Gamerground is a computer shop engaged in the sale of laptops, computers, spare parts, accessories supporting and providing repair services. The marketing process is less than optimal because it only sells by phone or social media. There are some problems that occur between them : 1. Stock management is not optimal because of frequent discrepancies between stock records with the amount of goods available so often consumers feel disappointed with the services provided, 2. The issue of uploaded ad duration in uploaded social media will alternate from one product content display to another in a relatively short period of time, 3. The absence of management of consumer sales transactions thus requiring recording of repeated transactions, 4. The decline in sales turnover in recent months, 5. The management of customer or consumer data is less noticed. Based on these problems, this study aims to design a web-based online sales information system mobile on gamerground. This research uses the development of SDLC waterfall model system which consists of planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. Using PHP and MySQL Server programming language as database. The results of research in the form of Online Sales Information System Web-Based Mobile that can facilitate consumers to view products, make reservations for consumers and management for the admin. This information system is equipped with product management features, order data management, customer data management, preparing order reports and payment confirmation. So that this information system can provide convenience both consumer and admin on gamerground.

Fast and accurate information is needed by the company in making decisions in the field of product promotion offered. Promotional media using brochures at this time are still experiencing problems, because of the limited delivery of information in terms of information about the latest products and product prices offered by the company, so it requires a lot of time and is less efficient. To overcome the problems in the CV. Java Mini Semarang needs new promotional media which is faster and more accurate in conveying information, this new promotional media is expected to complement the old promotional media that still uses brochures. Promotional media using brochures are still considered to be lacking because the scope is less extensive.
