The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has increased the need for data security and confidentiality in digital information exchange. Various threats, such as eavesdropping, data theft, and information manipulation, require effective security methods capable of protecting message content without attracting unauthorized attention. One of the techniques used to address this issue is steganography, which conceals secret information within digital media so that the existence of the message remains undetectable. This study aims to implement the Least Significant Bit (LSB) method on digital facial images as a medium for embedding secret messages and to evaluate the quality of the resulting stego images. The system was developed using the Python programming language with a Tkinter-based graphical user interface to facilitate the processes of message embedding and extraction. Prior to embedding, the secret message was secured using an XOR encryption operation with a specific key. The embedding process was performed by modifying the least significant bits of image pixels, resulting in minimal visual distortion. Experimental results indicate that the LSB method successfully conceals secret messages while maintaining the visual quality of the cover image. The evaluation produced low Mean Squared Error (MSE) values and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) values exceeding 85 dB, indicating a very high similarity between the original and stego images. Furthermore, the hidden message could be accurately extracted using the correct key, provided that the image had not undergone compression or manipulation. Therefore, the LSB-based steganography approach on digital facial images is proven to be an effective method for enhancing information security and confidentiality.

The quality of boiler feedwater is a crucial factor in maintaining the operational reliability of ship machinery systems against the risks of corrosion and scale formation. This research focuses on the design and development of a real-time monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to automatically determine water quality. The hardware development utilizes a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller that integrates four main sensors: a pH sensor, a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor, and a turbidity sensor. The methodology applied is an experimental systems engineering model, encompassing circuit design, software programming, and the implementation of simple artificial intelligence. The automatic decision-making process in this tool is designed using zero-order Sugeno fuzzy logic with input parameters of turbidity, salinity, and acidity level (pH). The obtained data is transmitted wirelessly to a Firebase database and visualized through a 0.96-inch OLED display. Functional tests on seven fluid characteristics including pure water, hard water, and muddy water show that this prototype can accurately classify water quality into Good, Fair, and Poor categories. The main contribution of this design is the provision of a preventive, efficient, and applicable boiler maintenance solution for the modern shipping industry.

This study designs and implements an up-down counter system based on an AT89C2051 microcontroller programmed in assembly using the MC-51 application. The system modifies an existing digital clock board by mapping the display selector pins, seven-segment segment pins, pushbuttons, and buzzer to the microcontroller ports. The research method consists of literature review, hardware identification, algorithm design, assembly programming, program downloading, and functional testing using a 5 V DC supply. The implementation uses a four-digit common-cathode seven-segment display and a multiplexing routine to show the counter value in real time. The functional test shows that the system can display the initial value, increase the value through the up button, and decrease the value through the down button. The display is readable during operation, and the program can run on the target circuit after being downloaded to the AT89C2051. This study confirms that assembly programming on MC-51 can be applied to implement a simple counter system on a reused digital clock circuit. The main limitations are the absence of explicit button debouncing, overflow and underflow protection, quantitative response-time measurement, and non-volatile data retention.

Python programming has become a fundamental competence in the digital era, yet students often struggle to transform algorithmic logic into functional code. This gap between conceptual understanding and practical implementation skills requires a thorough investigation into learning challenges within the Industrial Informatics Engineering Technology (TRIN) program at Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung. Grounded in Bloom's Revised Taxonomy and Cognitive Load Theory, this descriptive quantitative study utilized a Likert-scale questionnaire and an objective comprehension test administered to 87 third-year students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to map performance across three aspects: conceptual understanding, syntactic comprehension, and implementation ability. Results indicate the conceptual aspect achieved the highest average of 4.15, followed by syntax at 3.56 and implementation at 3.54, with objective test accuracy rates of 76.09%, 65.52%, and 67.36%, respectively. Major obstacles identified include difficulties with looping, debugging, and comparison operators. Therefore, enhanced structured practice and Project-Based Learning approaches are recommended to strengthen students' implementation competencies.

The increase in activity and security threats on Ubuntu server causes the volume of system logs to become very large and difficult to analyze manually. This condition potentially leads administrators to experience delays in detecting abnormal activities, such as repeated login attempts and web access patterns related to online gambling promotions. Therefore, this research aims to develop a machine learning-based Early Warning System capable of automatically detecting anomalous activities. The system is developed using the Python programming language and runs on an Ubuntu server by utilizing authentication logs and web access logs as the main data sources. The anomaly detection model is trained using normal activity data collected directly from the Ubuntu server logs to learn standard system behavior patterns. During the operational phase, the system reads server logs in real-time, extracts activity features, and analyzes them using the Isolation Forest algorithm. Activities detected as anomalies trigger alert notifications via Telegram to the administrator without performing automatic blocking. The results show that the system is able to provide early warnings for suspicious activities, thereby helping to improve server security more effectively.

Public services are one of the essential functions of village-level government as they are directly related to the needs of the community. However, in Pontap Village, Palopo City, service processes are still carried out manually, which often leads to obstacles such as service delays, difficulties in record-keeping, and limited access to information for residents. This study aims to design and develop a web-based public service information system to improve the efficiency and quality of services at the village office. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and utilizes MySQL as the database which is managed using HeidiSQL. System modeling was carried out using use case diagrams and activity diagrams, while testing was conducted using the black-box testing approach to ensure that all functions operate according to specifications. The resulting system provides community complaint services, administrative letter services, and information on health service schedules such as posyandu and puskesmas activities. It is expected that this system will facilitate residents in accessing information, accelerate service processes, and improve data accuracy through an integrated digital platform. This research is expected to serve as a solution to support the digitalization of public services in Pontap Village and to become a reference for the development of similar systems in other regions.

Sumber Daya Manusia di dalam suatu perusahaan merupakan faktor yang mendukung dalam persaingan di era sekarang. Sumber Daya Manusia juga merupakan motor penggerak disuatu perusahaan ketika Sumber Daya Manusia disuatu perusahaan tidak sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan maka akan berdampak juga terhadap majunya perusahaan. Banyak perusahaan atau instansi memanfaatkan Teknologi infomasi sebagai sarana promosi dan informasi dalam mengembangkan peluang Sumber Daya Manusiannya dimana salah satunya adalah PT Gunung Batu yang merupakan perusahaan penyalur jasa yang bergerak dibidang ketenaga kerjaan ke PT Pertamina (persero). Sistem yang berjalan pada PT Gunung Batu masih menggunakan pengolahan data besbasis excel dalam mengelola dan mengumpulkan semua data tenaga kerja, Hal ini mengakibatkan data yang sama di input berulang kali. Maka dibutuhkan sistem informasi yang mampu menyediakan pelayanan penerimaan jasa tenaga kerja berbasis web agar mempermudahkan pekerja mencari informasi dan melamar pekerjaan, pelamar tidak harus datang keperusaahaan untuk mendaftarkan diri sebagai calon tenaga kerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi penerimaan jasa tenaga kerja berbasis website menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP). Metode ini Menekankan pada pengembangan yang cepat dan fleksibilitas dalam proses pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan fleksibilitas, serta memudahkan pekerjaan dalam mengelola data dan mengakses informasi.

King Royal Hotel Restaurant still applies manual sales transaction recording, causing data management and revenue report preparation to be less than optimal. This study aims to design and implement a Flutter-based sales and revenue reporting application that utilizes local storage as a data storage mechanism on the device. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was developed using the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language and utilizes the shared_preferences and hive packages for local data management on the device without requiring an internet connection or external database server. In addition, the application is designed to be easy for restaurant employees to use in recording daily transactions more quickly and accurately. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method, which showed that all application features functioned according to functional requirements. The results of the study indicate that the Flutter-based application with a local storage approach is capable of improving transaction recording efficiency and generating revenue reports automatically at King Royal Hotel Restaurant.

Penerapan sistem manajemen kinerja karyawan di PT Pos Indonesia, khususnya pada Divisi Human Capital Development, sebelumnya masih mengandalkan sistem manual berbasis spreadsheet. Proses manual ini rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia (human error), ketidakkonsistenan data, serta ketidakefisienan dalam pemantauan metrik kinerja individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendigitalisasi proses manajemen kinerja dengan mengembangkan sistem berbasis web bernama IHSAN POS (Performance Management System) guna memfasilitasi pengelolaan data yang terintegrasi dan real-time. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) yang berfokus pada pengembangan frontend menggunakan React JS, dengan perancangan sistem dimodelkan melalui Data Flow Diagram (DFD) dan Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) untuk memastikan alur data yang terstruktur. Pengembangan sistem ini secara spesifik ditujukan bagi segmen Tenaga Kerja Profesional Perusahaan (TKPP) dengan mengintegrasikan Nilai Kinerja Individu (NKI) dan Objectives and Key Results (OKR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antarmuka frontend yang dikembangkan mampu memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengelola profil pribadi, kontrak kerja, serta memantau nilai kinerja secara transparan, sementara integrasi sistem dengan backend melalui Application Programming Interface (API) memastikan pengolahan data berjalan secara otomatis. Implementasi IHSAN POS secara signifikan mentransformasi alur kerja evaluasi kinerja manual menjadi alur kerja digital yang efisien, mengurangi kesalahan administratif, serta memberikan dasar bagi pemberian insentif perusahaan yang objektif berbasis kinerja.

The development of information technology encourages public service agencies to improve the quality of service through the use of integrated information systems. PERUM DAMRI Ende as a provider of passenger transportation services, still faces problems in delivering information on schedules, routes, fares, and vehicle data management that has not been optimally integrated, thus causing uncertainty for service users. This study aims to design and build a Passenger Transport Vehicle Information System at PERUM DAMRI Ende to improve fleet data management efficiency, route scheduling, and customer information access. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. System development is carried out using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is built as a web-based application using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database, and tested using the Black-Box Testing method. The results of the study are expected to help PERUM DAMRI Ende manage vehicle and schedule data more effectively, improve service quality, and provide the public with greater convenience in obtaining passenger transportation information.

Abstract. The digital transformation in the healthcare sector, reinforced by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022, mandates every healthcare service facility to implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This requirement compels educational institutions to provide relevant simulation media to enhance student competence. However, at the Health Information Management Laboratory of Esa Unggul University Harapan Indah, the use of existing systems such as Khanza EMR still exhibits limitations in terms of flexibility and alignment with practical workflows. This research aims to develop an adaptive web-based EMR system using the CodeIgniter 4 Framework and the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology. The research methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D) with an XP approach consisting of four stages: Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing. System development was executed through five main iterations, encompassing the formulation of user stories, design utilizing UML and UI, and program code implementation. This system realizes designs from previous research into functional modules, including registration, initial assessment, examination (SOAPE), medical support (laboratory and radiology), codification (ICD-10 and ICD-9-CM), pharmacy, cashier, and reporting. The results indicate that the EMR system was successfully implemented and passed functional verification through Black-Box Testing, achieving a "Successful" status across all scenarios. The conclusion of this study is that the developed EMR system fulfills the functional and security requirements necessary to serve as an effective and realistic practical learning medium for Health Information Management students. Transformasi digital di sektor kesehatan, yang diperkuat oleh Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 24 Tahun 2022, mewajibkan setiap fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan untuk menerapkan Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME). Hal ini menuntut institusi pendidikan untuk menyediakan media simulasi yang relevan guna meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa. Namun, di Laboratorium Rekam Medis Universitas Esa Unggul Harapan Indah, penggunaan sistem seperti Khanza EMR masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal fleksibilitas dan kesesuaian dengan alur praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem RME berbasis web yang adaptif menggunakan Framework CodeIgniter 4 dengan metode Extreme Programming (XP). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan XP yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: Planning, Design, Coding, dan Testing. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan melalui lima iterasi utama yang mencakup perumusan user stories, perancangan menggunakan UML dan UI, hingga implementasi kode program. Sistem ini merealisasikan rancangan dari penelitian sebelumnya menjadi modul fungsional yang meliputi pendaftaran, asesmen awal, pemeriksaan (SOAPE), penunjang medis (laboratorium dan radiologi), kodefikasi (ICD-10 dan ICD-9-CM), farmasi, kasir, hingga pelaporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RME (Rekam Medis Elektronik) berhasil diimplementasikan dan dinyatakan lulus uji fungsional melalui Black-Box Testing dengan status "Berhasil" pada seluruh skenario. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sistem RME yang dibangun telah memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional dan keamanan untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran praktikum yang efektif dan realistis bagi mahasiswa Manajemen Informasi Kesehatan.

The distribution of social assistance in Indonesia faces challenges such as inaccurate recipient data, overlapping programs, and limitations of traditional data management systems that lead to inaccurate targeting of aid. This study proposes a social assistance distribution optimization system using the Greedy algorithm that assesses recipient priorities based on economic conditions, number of family members, location, and urgency of needs with certain weights to produce objective rankings. This system is implemented in a JavaScript-based web application without external frameworks, making it lightweight and easily accessible. Simulations with 20 prospective recipients and a quota of 10 slots and validation with a dataset of 10,000 entries show that the Greedy algorithm produces identical results to Dynamic Programming but is much faster (669 times faster). In terms of complexity, this algorithm has O(n log n) time and O(n) space, and meets the requirements of the Greedy Choice Property and Optimal Substructure, making it a practical and efficient solution for managing large-scale social assistance distribution in Indonesia.

Libraries play a crucial role in broadening the public's knowledge horizons by improving literacy skills. However, the reality at the Samaturu Library in Jambu Malea Village shows that manual management still dominates, leading to various administrative obstacles such as data irregularities, the risk of losing important information, and inefficiencies in tracking daily activities. This condition demands digital transformation to optimize public services at the village level comprehensively and sustainably. This research focuses on the development of a web-based library information system specifically designed to modernize administrative processes to be more systematic, fast, and organized. Built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, this platform offers an intuitive interface for both staff and members. Its superior features include book data management, membership, activity agendas, announcements, and digitizing the borrowing and return process. Furthermore, the system is capable of automatically generating periodic reports to facilitate library performance evaluation. Based on the results of comprehensive testing using the Black Box Testing method, all system functionality was proven to operate optimally according to the required specifications. Direct user trials also showed very positive responses regarding aspects of ease of navigation and operational time efficiency. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the effectiveness of internal management, accelerate the quality of services to library users, and become a major catalyst in realizing superior digital literacy governance in rural areas.

The rapid evolution of digital technologies has fundamentally reshaped tax administration systems, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which constitute a critical driver of economic development yet continue to demonstrate suboptimal levels of tax compliance. This study aims to critically examine the role of Application Programming Interface (API)-based tax automation in enhancing MSME tax compliance through a systematic narrative literature review approach. Employing a qualitative design, this study synthesizes recent scholarly works published within the last five years to identify patterns, relationships, and emerging trends in digital taxation practices. The findings indicate that API-based automation significantly improves administrative efficiency, minimizes human error, and facilitates real-time data integration between taxpayer systems and tax authorities. Moreover, such integration enhances transparency and reduces compliance costs, thereby fostering voluntary compliance behavior among MSMEs. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of this technological intervention is contingent upon several structural and behavioral factors, including digital literacy, technological readiness, and the availability of reliable digital infrastructure. Persistent disparities in these areas may constrain the scalability and inclusiveness of API implementation. This study underscores that API-based tax automation represents a transformative policy instrument in modernizing tax administration systems, provided it is supported by coherent regulatory frameworks, capacity-building initiatives, and equitable infrastructure development. The findings contribute to the broader discourse on digital taxation by offering a conceptual foundation for developing adaptive and sustainable compliance strategies in the era of economic digitalization

Marriage confirmation services are often hampered by manual procedures, leading to delays and administrative errors. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Marriage Confirmation Information System to facilitate registration, document uploads, and online monitoring of verification status and court schedules. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database using the Waterfall method, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results show that the system is capable of optimally performing all managerial functions, from document validation to report automation. Black Box testing confirmed that all features functioned as expected and were easy to use. In addition to improving bureaucratic efficiency, the system ensures data security through login encryption and provides transparency through real-time status tracking. The presence of this platform significantly saves time and transportation costs for the public, as bureaucratic processes can be monitored from anywhere. In conclusion, this system successfully supports the digitalization of public services and improves the quality of administration within the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) and Religious Courts, thereby realizing more effective, efficient, accountable, and modern governance for all levels of society

Advances in information technology have brought significant changes to how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) conduct their business operations, particularly in the areas of marketing and sales. However, Stretto Pizza MSME still relies on manual processes for ordering and transaction recording, which results in limited marketing reach, suboptimal data management, and an increased risk of errors in recording. This study aims to develop a web-based e-commerce information system that can integrate sales processes and data management more effectively. System development was conducted using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was built using the PHP programming language with MySQL database support. System testing was performed using the Black-Box Testing method to ensure that every feature functions according to user needs. The research results show that the designed system is capable of supporting product ordering processes, customer data management, sales transactions, and report generation more efficiently. With this system, it is hoped that the Stretto Piza SME can improve its operations while expanding its marketing reach through the use of digital technology.

This study discusses the design and simulation of an automatic lighting system based on a photodiode sensor using an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the main controller. The system is designed to detect changes in ambient light intensity and automatically control the lamp without human intervention. The photodiode sensor is used as a light detector that converts light energy into an analog electrical signal, which is then processed by the Arduino to determine bright or dark conditions. The output from the Arduino subsequently controls a relay module that functions as an electronic switch to connect or disconnect the current to the light bulb. The research method employed is an experimental approach, which includes system planning, hardware design, software programming, simulation using Proteus, and system performance testing. The simulation results indicate that the system operates as expected, where the lamp automatically turns on when the light intensity decreases and turns off when the ambient brightness increases. This system is expected to improve electrical energy efficiency and provide ease of operation for lighting control, particularly in public facilitiesand workplace environments.

Optimization problems in computer science often arise when a system must select the best combination from several alternatives under limited resources such as capacity, time, or cost. One commonly used optimization model is the Knapsack Problem, which involves selecting a number of items with specific weights and values to obtain the maximum profit without exceeding the available capacity. This study aims to analyze and compare the performance of the Greedy algorithm and Dynamic Programming in solving the 0–1 Knapsack Problem. The research employs a quantitative experimental approach by implementing both algorithms in a computer program and testing them on several datasets with different sizes. The evaluation parameters include the maximum value obtained and the algorithm execution time. The results show that the Greedy algorithm has faster execution time and more efficient memory usage, but it does not always produce an optimal solution. In contrast, the Dynamic Programming algorithm consistently produces an optimal solution, although it requires greater computational time. Therefore, the choice of algorithm should be adjusted to system requirements, whether prioritizing computational efficiency or optimal solution quality.

This research focuses on the creation and implementation of a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to map the position of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The rationale behind this research is rooted in the rapid economic and demographic development in the area, which requires easy access to financial services. However, the distribution of existing ATM points is still uneven, where people in rural areas often have to travel long distances to reach the nearest ATM. The method of creating this system involves the use of the PHP programming language along with a MySQL database. This system aims to present spatial information about the current ATM location accurately, thereby helping the public in finding banking services with high accuracy through an interactive map interface. In addition, this system offers optimal paths to ATM locations to improve user time efficiency. System evaluation was conducted using black box techniques to verify that the menu operations and application procedures function as intended. The findings indicate that the implementation of GIS improves public access while offering data assistance for financial institutions and local governments in developing a more equitable and systematic public facility allocation strategy in the future.

This study aims to design and develop a web-based New Student Admission System (PPDB) Website at MIS Chairul Bariyyah Medan Krio to overcome the limitations of manual registration systems. The method used is Agile, as it supports iterative, flexible, and adaptive system development according to user needs. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The system is developed using the Python programming language with the Django framework and MySQL database. The results show that the developed system improves the efficiency of the registration process, minimizes data recording errors, and facilitates real-time management of applicant data. In addition, the Website also serves as an information and promotional medium for the school that can be accessed anytime. Based on Blackbox testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT), the system is proven to run well and is easy to use. Therefore, this web-based PPDB system is effective in improving the quality of Administrative services at MIS Chairul Bariyyah.
