The Impact-Oriented Community Service Program (KKN Berdampak) conducted by students of Universitas Mayjend Sungkono in Kebontunggul Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency focused on optimizing branding and digital marketing for the Lembah Mbencirang tourist destination. Lembah Mbencirang is a village-based tourism destination with significant natural and educational potential; however, this potential has not been widely recognized due to limitations in branding and digital marketing. This community service program aimed to sustainably increase tourist visits through SWOT analysis, visual identity rebranding, and digital marketing campaigns utilizing social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and visual content. The activities were carried out participatively in collaboration with the local Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) and Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) using observation, mentoring, and promotional content development methods. The results indicate that the optimization of branding and digital marketing at Lembah Mbencirang Tourism produced initial outcomes in the form of digital media readiness and increased understanding among tourism managers. Although the impact on visitor numbers has not yet been measured significantly, a digital marketing foundation has been established as an initial step toward the development of village tourism.

The objective of this community service project is to utilize digital technology to transform community-based tourism in Sugihen Village. The approach used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), which included the stages of needs analysis, digital literacy training and capacity building, implementation of digital tourism technology, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The results of the community service included increased community digital literacy, a stronger position of the Pokdarwis institution in tourism management, and a shift in community perspectives on the use of digital technology as a consequence of the community service activities. In addition to being a marketing tool, digital technology also empowers the community in independent and sustainable tourism management. As a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and a national priority tourism destination, Tanjung Lesung has great potential in encouraging local growth, but its development still faces challenges. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observations, and documentation studies with informants from the Tourism Office, SEZ managers, MSME actors, and Pokdarwis. The analysis refers to the theory of Suryadana's tourism development strategy, including attractions, accessibility, amenities, and institutions. The results of the study show that the government's strategy focuses on the development of attractions through the involvement of MSMEs and cultural preservation, as well as improving facilities with training and community assistance. This strategy has a positive impact on increasing income and job creation. However, there are obstacles in the form of limited regional authority in SEZ management, lack of optimal accessibility and infrastructure, weak collaboration between stakeholders, low capacity of local human resources, and inconsistent promotion. The government's efforts include increasing human resource capacity, facilitating MSMEs in events, and cross-sector coordination. In conclusion, the Tanjung Lesung tourism development strategy has contributed to economic empowerment, but it is not optimal, so stronger synergy is needed between the government, the private sector, and the community to realize sustainable tourism.

This community service program focuses on enhancing digital literacy, documenting cultural traditions, and developing integrated promotional media through the EthnoGring platform in Tlemang Cultural Tourism Village, Lamongan. The activities were conducted in collaboration with the local tourism group, Pokdarwis “Bukit Inggil,” through stages of needs assessment, digital literacy training, cultural content production and curation, platform development, and monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate that digitalization strengthens community capacity to manage tourism promotion while simultaneously safeguarding cultural heritage in the face of modernization. Cultural outputs such as documentaries, photographs of traditional rituals, interview transcripts with cultural figures, and an e-book on the Nyanggring tradition serve not only as promotional tools but also as efforts to conserve collective community knowledge. The integration of these outputs into the EthnoGring platform, equipped with public service and tourism information features, highlights the strategic role of digital innovation in supporting sustainable tourism village development. Early impacts include broader exposure of Tlemang’s cultural heritage, the emergence of local economic initiatives, and the establishment of a more adaptive community organization. Although challenges remain, particularly in digital infrastructure, collective engagement and institutional support serve as key foundations for sustainability. Therefore, EthnoGring contributes not only to cultural preservation but also to strengthening the social, economic, and institutional dimensions of sustainable tourism.

The development of tourism villages is an effective strategy to improve community welfare and support the realization of sustainable development at the local level. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing a tourism village through the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN), with a particular focus on creating a healthy, clean, and educational village in Ambarawa, Pringsewu Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with village officials, community leaders, and local entrepreneurs, as well as documentation of program activities. The findings reveal that the implementation of the KKN program involved three main strategies. First, environmental hygiene and health education were carried out through socialization, mentoring, and community-based clean-up initiatives. Second, digital-based tourism promotion was developed using social media and online platforms, which increased destination visibility and enhanced tourist appeal. Third, local economic empowerment was strengthened by providing training and mentoring for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), along with the introduction of non-cash transactions using QRIS to facilitate modern and efficient payments. These efforts successfully fostered community participation, raised environmental awareness, and stimulated innovative approaches to tourism promotion. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, such as limited program duration, low levels of digital literacy among some residents, and the absence of comprehensive regulations governing tourism management. Recommendations include establishing a formal tourism management institution (Pokdarwis), enhancing capacity through digital literacy training, and fostering sustainable collaboration among government, academia, and the community to ensure that tourism village development can progress consistently, innovatively, and sustainably.

Tourism management is an effort to realize a tourist village that has great natural potential. Community service activities carried out in Semboro Village, Jember Regency aim to provide benefits for Pokdarwis and the community who play a direct role in its development. Although orange production in Jember Regency has increased, farmers do not feel the same benefits because the price of oranges is uncertain. Therefore, orange farmers, especially in Semboro District, are eager to develop existing orange plantation businesses into tourism businesses. If we look at the market potential based on tourist visits to Jember Regency, the growth of agrotourism businesses in the area looks very promising. This community service activity is carried out by providing education through lectures and questions and answers. The results of this activity are very useful for increasing community knowledge and abilities. The results of the evaluation of the activity process show that the community understands how to realize a tourist hamlet in Semboro Hamlet, Jember Regency.
