The dissemination of personal data through digital media has increased significantly alongside the growing use of Quick Response (QR) Codes for various purposes, such as electronic tickets, certificates, and digital identities. Conventional QR Codes are open and can be easily scanned, copied, or manipulated by unauthorized parties. The personal data referred to in this study includes sensitive information such as full name, identity number (NIK/National ID), date of birth, address, phone number, and email address. This research proposes a layered security system that combines the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cryptographic algorithm with steganography using the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) method. The process begins with encrypting personal data using AES, converting the encrypted result into a QR Code, and embedding the QR Code into a digital image using DCT, hiding it in the image’s frequency domain. The digital images used are of fixed size and formats that preserve visual quality. System evaluation is carried out by testing the visual quality of the stego image, the success rate of QR Code extraction, and the integrity of the encrypted data. The results are expected to conceal sensitive information visually while maintaining its confidentiality, with potential applications in electronic ID cards, digital certificates, e-tickets, and other confidential documents.

Consumer protection in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia faces significant challenges due to the lack of specific regulations that clearly define the responsibilities of digital platforms. Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK) serves as the primary legal framework, but it has not adequately addressed the complexities of digital transactions, leading to legal uncertainty in resolving disputes and safeguarding consumer rights. This gap in the law leaves consumers vulnerable, as their rights are not clearly protected in the digital environment. One of the main issues is the low level of consumer legal literacy in Indonesia, which exacerbates the problem. Many consumers are unaware of their rights or how to enforce them, making it difficult for them to seek redress in case of problems with e-commerce transactions. This lack of understanding creates an environment where consumers are often left without proper recourse when facing issues such as faulty products, delayed deliveries, or breaches of personal data security. This study aims to identify the barriers to consumer protection in e-commerce and propose solutions to address these challenges. The study suggests that more comprehensive and adaptive regulations are needed to define the responsibilities of e-commerce platforms clearly. These regulations should include effective complaint mechanisms, stronger consumer data protection policies, and a framework for resolving disputes quickly and transparently. Additionally, the study emphasizes the need for stricter supervision and more robust law enforcement to ensure that digital trading platforms comply with consumer protection laws. The findings highlight the importance of creating a safe, fair, and trusted digital trading ecosystem in Indonesia, where consumers feel secure and are empowered to demand their rights. By implementing these recommendations, Indonesia can improve consumer protection in the digital economy, ultimately fostering a more sustainable and transparent e-commerce environment.

This community engagement article aims to enhance the legal awareness and digital literacy of students at SMA Negeri 1 Wangon in addressing the growing phenomenon of sexual violence in digital spaces, particularly in the era of artificial intelligence. The primary issue faced by Generation Z today is a lack of legal understanding and weak digital ethics, which makes them vulnerable to becoming both victims and perpetrators of online sexual violence. The program employed a participatory approach using methods such as observation, group discussions, case simulations, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. The results indicate that the legal and digital literacy education program significantly improved participants’ understanding of legal frameworks, including the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes (UU TPKS) and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The program also fostered awareness of digital ethics and the importance of personal data security. The implementation process revealed high levels of enthusiasm among students, particularly during the creation of anti-sexual violence digital campaigns, which were later published on the school's social media platforms. This program had a positive impact on students’ ability to recognize, prevent, and respond to digital sexual violence, while also encouraging the formation of a legally conscious student community that can serve as a driving force for digital cultural transformation within the school environment.

Many people utilize social media to interact, including students who are the most technologically literate. Apart from having a positive impact on its users, social media also has a negative impact. One of the negative impacts of social media is the increased risk of personal data security. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of awareness of students in Yogyakarta regarding the protection of personal data on social media. The method used is mixed method, surveys were distributed to respondents, namely students from various schools in Yogyakarta. Researchers also conducted interviews with 15 participants to get a more in-depth picture. This research examines the level of understanding and awareness of students in Yogyakarta regarding how they understand data sharing behavior, privacy settings and their perceptions of threats or risks in cyberspace. The results showed that the majority of students have a high level of awareness regarding basic privacy measures, but they also have a poor understanding of the threats and risks associated with sharing personal data. The majority of students rarely update their privacy settings. They only use the default settings built into social media. The implication of the study is the need to integrate digital literacy programs that focus on data security and privacy into the school curriculum. The conclusion is that there is awareness among students regarding the importance of protecting personal data, but more efforts are needed to improve students' knowledge in digital privacy management. Further research is needed to assess the long-term impact of educational interventions on privacy-conscious behavior in the digital world.

The development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced people’s lives, particularly in the use of digital media and social media. However, this development has also led to various forms of cybercrime, such as online fraud, personal data theft, the spread of hoaxes, and social media account hacking. The low level of digital literacy and public legal awareness has become one of the factors increasing the risk of cybercrime. This community service activity aimed to improve public awareness and legal understanding regarding the dangers of cybercrime through legal socialization activities. The method used in this activity was a socialization method with educational and participatory approaches through lectures, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and case simulations. The results of the activity showed an improvement in public understanding of the forms of cybercrime, legal consequences, and preventive measures for safe and responsible digital media use. In addition, this activity encouraged the emergence of public awareness to use social media wisely and protect personal data security. Therefore, legal socialization regarding cybercrime can serve as a preventive effort in building a law-aware society with good digital literacy.
