The increasing complexity of urban road networks demands intelligent navigation systems capable of determining optimal routes efficiently. This research implements the Dijkstra Shortest Path algorithm to optimize route search on a location navigation system in Medan City. The system models a road network as a weighted graph comprising 57 strategic locations and over 90 road connections, represented using adjacency list data structures. The Dijkstra algorithm, implemented in Python using the heapq module for priority queue management, achieves an optimal time complexity of O((V+E) log V). The system features five main functions: shortest route search, popular routes, location listing, dynamic location addition, and dynamic road connection addition. System testing using a case study from Kualanamu Airport to the University of North Sumatra (USU) yielded an optimal route of 16.5 km through 4 road segments. Results demonstrate that the system successfully determines the most efficient route, provides accurate distance and travel time information for multiple transport modes (motorcycle, car, walking), and presents step-by-step journey guidance. This research contributes as a practical reference for applying shortest path algorithms in urban areas and serves as a foundation for developing more complex navigation applications in the future.

This study aims to qualitatively analyze the impact of order cancellations and customer ratings on the performance, performance, and income of online motorcycle taxi (Gojek) drivers in the Slawi region. The research method used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of a number of active drivers. The results show that the high rate of order cancellations, both from customers and the system, negatively impacts driver income stability and reduces work time efficiency. Furthermore, customer ratings play a crucial role in determining driver access to orders, incentives, and account sustainability. Drivers with low ratings tend to experience decreased performance due to limited opportunities to receive orders. On the other hand, the pressure to maintain high ratings also affects drivers' psychological state and work strategies. This study concludes that order cancellations and customer ratings are crucial factors that are interrelated in influencing the work quality and welfare of online motorcycle taxi drivers. Therefore, fairer and more transparent platform policies are needed to maintain a balance between customer satisfaction and driver protection.

The increasing intensity of traffic object movement in urban areas has not been accompanied by adequate road infrastructure, resulting in traffic congestion, air pollution, and a higher risk of traffic accidents. One of the primary causes of accidents is traffic violations, particularly wrong-way driving behavior. This study develops a video-based automated traffic violation detection system using the YOLOv5 algorithm. A computer vision approach is employed to detect, classify traffic objects, and count wrong-way violations in real time. Due to limited access to real-world traffic violation footage, simulated traffic scenarios are used as testing data. The system is evaluated on four traffic object classes: motorcycles, cars, buses, and trucks. Experimental results demonstrate strong performance, achieving a precision of 90%, a recall of 92%, and an F1-score of 91%, while the traffic object counting accuracy reaches 89%. These findings indicate that the proposed system has significant potential to support traffic analysis and assist authorities in making more effective decisions to reduce congestion and traffic accidents.

Automatic motorcycle spare part sales have increased along with the high use of automatic two-wheeled vehicles in the community. To support optimal sales strategies and stock management, customer purchasing pattern analysis is required. This study uses the FP-Growth algorithm to identify association patterns between automatic motorcycle spare part products that are frequently purchased together. FP-Growth was chosen because of its ability to efficiently find frequent itemsets without the need to generate candidate itemsets as in the Apriori algorithm. Transaction data is processed to form an FP-Tree which is then extracted to find relationships between items. The analysis results show combinations of products that frequently appear together, such as brake pads and engine oil, which can be used as a basis for compiling sales packages, product placement, and product recommendations. By implementing the FP-Growth algorithm, spare part stores or workshops can improve service and efficiency in sales management.

Vocational education requires a practice-based learning process supported by complete facilities so that students can master work competencies optimally. However, the condition of the Motorcycle Engineering workshop at Noemuti State Vocational High School shows that the completeness of the disc brake system practice facilities does not meet the ideal ratio standards, which affects the effectiveness of learning. This incompleteness has an impact on the low achievement of students' practical learning outcomes that have not reached the KKM. This study aims to describe the level of completeness of workshop facilities and the results of the disc brake system practice learning, and to determine whether there is a relationship between the two. The research approach uses a quantitative correlational method with a total sampling of 26 students. Data were obtained through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, Pearson correlations, and coefficients of determination using SPSS 27. The results showed that the average completeness of workshop facilities was 42.27 and the results of practical learning were 42.81, both of which were in the good category. The Pearson correlation test produced a value of r = 0.960 with a significance of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a very strong and significant relationship. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.92) shows that 92% of the variation in practical learning outcomes is influenced by the completeness of workshop facilities. The more complete the workshop facilities, the higher the students' practical learning outcomes.

Indonesia is one of the countries with abundant availability of palm fiber composite, yet its application in advanced material technology remains limited. On the other hand, most motorcycle helmets available in the market are made from ABS plastic, which has limitations in impact energy absorption and may increase the risk of head injuries during accidents. This study aims to develop helmet composites based on palm fiber and epoxy resin by varying the fiber volume fractions (15%, 25%, and 35%) and alkali soaking durations (75, 150, 225, and 300 minutes). The impact strength test results showed that the combination of 35% fiber volume and 225-minute alkali soaking produced the highest specific impact energy (SIP) of 0.142 J/mm². As a comparison, SNI-compliant helmets made from ABS plastic only reached an EPS value of 0.00972 J/mm², indicating that palm fiber-based composite helmets could improve impact energy absorption efficiency by more than 14 times. The results conclude that increasing the fiber volume fraction and optimizing the alkali treatment duration significantly enhances the impact resistance, making ijuk-based composite helmets a promising alternative for safer and more eco-friendly protective gear.
