Elderly residents who live in madania homes use the kitchen as a kitchen places for cooking activities, and have complaints about height and slippery floor conditions, according to the elderly as many as 32% of cooking kitchen users representing the elderly population using purposive sampling, proposed design improvements for elderly cooking places by considering the anthropometric size of elderly users, using a focus approach group discussion to facilitate the wishes and complaints experienced by the elderly, the shape and size of the proposed new kitchen design for the elderly by adding a foothold in front of the kitchen to facilitate cooking reach, with a cooking kitchen width: 53 cm; Height: 132cm; length 53 cm, using anthropometric measurements, namely front arm reach (JTD) 53 cm; shoulder width(LB) (maximum) 43 cm; height (TB) 158 cm; elbow height (TS) 132 cm. The design is the result obtained from the first focus group discussion, then the results of the second focus group discussion explain the proposed new design drawings for the elderly's kitchen to the elderly, related to the suggestions obtained from the results of the first focus group discussion and the senior citizens agree with the results drawn, by having a height, width, length according to body size by adding non-permanent footing facilities in front making it easier for users to reach the kitchen for cooking activities, floors that are designed to be safe and non-slippery, and additional cupboard facilities to make it easier to store cooking utensils.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.003 <0.05 indicates that the H1 hypothesis is accepted.

Populasi lansia meningkat secara signifikan hampir di semua negara. Akan tetapi peningkatan  prevalensi dan angka harapan hidup yang lebih panjang tidak selalu diikuti dengan kualitas hidup yang lebih baik. Pemanfaatan waktu luang telah digunakan dalam berbagai penelitian baik didalam dan diluar negeri serta telah terbukti bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan partisipasi pemanfaatan waktu luang dengan kualitas hidup lanjut usia. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dilakukan pada 30 orang lansia di paguyuban lansia di Desa Kemiri Kebakkramat Karanganyar. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dari bulan Pebruari sampai dengan Oktober 2022. Cara pengumpulan data menggunakan metode cross sectional. Teknik analisis data kuantitif menggunakan chi-square. Hasil analisis data statistik diperoleh p<0.001. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pemanfaatan waktu luang untuk dengan kualitas hidup lanjut usia. Oleh karena itu partisipasi pemanfaatan waktu luang pada lansia dapat direkomendasikan untuk untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia

Along with the time that continues to turn where previously children who were still toddlers were taken care of by their parents until they moved to the village and got a job and were busy to have a partner and offspring and their own lives, on the other hand the parents who used to raise them have now entered old age which should be the child's obligation to take care of parents at that time. The dilemma that occurs between the obligation to care for wives and children and work with caring for parents when they enter old age or old age. Responding to the phenomenon that occurs related to the child's obligation to choose parents when entering old age. So the service team from the Faculty of Law, Goronalo State University conducted counseling in a number of villages which basically had a number of problems related to this, including Kaaruyaan Village, Paguyaman District, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The problems raised in this service include the background of children taking care of their own elderly parents at home and children who entrust elderly parents in nursing homes. Legal review of the responsibilities of children who entrust their parents in nursing homes. This research method uses qualitative methods and discussions in counseling, where the research was carried out in the Kaaruyaan Village area. The subjects of counseling are children who care for and children who entrust elderly parents (Elderly) in Nursing Homes. Observation, interviews and documentation. Extension results. The background of children choosing to entrust elderly parents in the orphanage is triggered by a number of things including work, obstacles in communication between family and parents, incompatibility between the wife / husband and parents in the house. While the background of children chooses to take care of their own parents at home, facilitate communication with parents, control physical health, guarantee the needs and needs of parents daily to apply forms of love and affection to parents.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peningkatan kesehatan lanjut usia yang telah dilaksanakan di Gereja Kristen Jawa (GKJ) Kramas, Kota Semarang. Sebagai besar lanjut usia di gereja adalah  perempuan lanjut  usia  yang  masih  aktif melakukan kegiatan  domestic dan  usaha  ekonomi mikro/kecil. Berdasarkan rencana aksi peningkatan kesehatan lanjut usia dilaksanakan dengan data terpadu lanjut usia, pembentukan kelembagaan lanjut  usia,  peningkatan kapasitas kader kesehatan dan pelaksanaan cek kesehatan sebagai langkah promotif dan layanan dasar kepada Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat Tembalang. Dalam perkembangannnya upaya telah mendatangkan hasil dan mendapatkan apresiasi dari gereja dan masyarakat sekitar.

The protection, welfare and independence of the elderly group is increasingly important in line with the increasing number of elderly people, welfare and the realization of an elderly friendly city in Surakarta. The Adiyuswo (Olderly) School in implementation in the City of Surakarta is closely related to the policy steps to realize an elderly-friendly city and the inclusive city policy that has been established by the City of Surakarta since 2006. The policy direction is contained in the Surakarta City Medium-Term Development Plan 2021-2026 with The leading implementing sectors are the Social Service (Dinas Sosial)  and Bappeda  as the coordinator of regional development planning.            The implementation of policies regarding Adiyuswo Schools (Seniors) is carried out in accordance with the direction of the policy on Lifelong Education through regular and planned non-formal education. This education is carried out in an equal and participatory manner. In this case, facilitators, mentors and health and social services are prepared through local institutions, either through the Elderly Committee, Elderly Forums in sub-districts and institutions in the village through fostering elderly families. The elderly school involves the target group, namely the pre-elderly population, the elderly group and other family members who take care of the elderly in the household.

This study aims to describe the improvement of elderly health that has been carried out at the Jawa Jawa Kramas Christian Church, Semarang City. Most of the elderly in the church are elderly women who are still active in domestic activities and micro/small economic businesses. Based on the action plan to improve the health of the elderly, it is carried out with integrated data on the elderly, the establishment of elderly institutions, capacity building for health cadres and the implementation of health checks as a promotive step and basic services to the Tembalang Community Health Center. In its development, efforts have brought results and have received appreciation from the church and the surrounding community.
