Tanaman padi merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan utama di dunia yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga ketahanan pangan global. Namun, produktivitas tanaman padi seringkali terganggu oleh berbagai penyakit daun yang dapat menurunkan kualitas dan hasil panen secara signifikan. Deteksi penyakit secara dini menjadi langkah penting untuk mengendalikan penyebaran penyakit tersebut. Metode konvensional yang mengandalkan pengamatan manual memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal kecepatan, akurasi, serta ketergantungan terhadap keahlian manusia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem deteksi otomatis yang mampu mengidentifikasi penyakit secara cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model deteksi penyakit daun padi menggunakan metode YOLO (You Only Look Once) berbasis Deep Learning. Dataset yang digunakan diperoleh dari Kaggle yang terdiri dari citra daun padi dengan anotasi bounding box. Proses penelitian meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, preprocessing, pelatihan model, serta evaluasi performa. Model dilatih menggunakan optimizer Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) dengan parameter tertentu untuk memperoleh hasil yang optimal. Evaluasi kinerja model dilakukan menggunakan metrik mean Average Precision (mAP), precision, dan recall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model YOLO mampu mendeteksi penyakit daun padi dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi serta waktu deteksi yang relatif cepat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode YOLO efektif untuk diterapkan dalam sistem pertanian cerdas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi deteksi penyakit tanaman berbasis kecerdasan buatan.

The State Logistics Agency (Bulog) plays a strategic role in maintaining national food security by stabilizing the prices and availability of staple food commodities. Amidst increasingly fierce market competition and changing consumer behavior, the Maumere branch of Bulog faces challenges in increasing commercial commodity sales without neglecting its public function. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by Bulog Maumere to increase food commodity sales, as well as identify obstacles and improvement efforts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, the findings indicate that Bulog Maumere's marketing strategy integrates the 4Ps of the marketing mix—product, price, place, and promotion—through expanded distribution channels (RPK, traditional markets, government agencies), market operations (SPHP, the Affordable Food Movement), and collaboration with local partners. This strategy is effective in increasing sales volume and accelerating stock turnover, although it remains hampered by reliance on government assignments, lengthy bureaucratic procedures, and distribution delays. Key recommendations include strengthening commercial sales, optimizing digital marketing, and improving operational efficiency. The results of this study provide a practical contribution to the development of marketing strategies for public food institutions in the archipelago.

Food security has become a primary concern in Indonesia, as the growing demand for food increasingly collides with the limited availability of agricultural land and the challenges of conventional farming. One innovative solution being developed is hydroponic cultivation, a soil-less farming technique that utilizes alternative media and nutrient-enriched water. This study aims to revitalize the hydroponic system in Kepatihan Village, Sidoarjo, through a community training program on pakcoy cultivation using recycled materials, particularly plastic bottles and PVC pipes. The program was implemented using a management approach consisting of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and understanding of hydroponic farming after the training sessions. Community members were not only able to assemble simple systems made from recycled materials but also successfully cultivated pakcoy sustainably using PVC pipes and repurposed plastic bottles as growing media. Participants demonstrated creativity and innovation by modifying the design of the recycled bottles, reflecting a deeper comprehension of hydroponic principles while promoting recycling practices and reducing plastic waste. Despite the promising outcomes, several challenges were identified, such as pest attacks, nutrient solution contamination, and the need for regular maintenance to achieve optimal yields. Overall, this study demonstrates that hydroponic farming based on recycled materials is not only environmentally friendly and cost-efficient but also represents an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable urban farming practice. Therefore, it can serve as a practical solution to strengthen household food security while fostering community participation in developing modern agricultural systems in urban areas.

The food security program involving chili cultivation in Pentur Village is hindered by inefficiencies in water use and suboptimal plant growth, primarily due to traditional irrigation methods that fail to consistently maintain ideal soil moisture and temperature. This issue is exacerbated by unpredictable environmental shifts, such as fluctuating weather patterns, and a lack of precise irrigation control stemming from technological limitations. To address this, a system for monitoring and regulating chili plant irrigation using IoT technology was developed. This system employs humidity and temperature sensors connected to an IoT platform like Blynk, enabling real-time observation of plant and environmental conditions. Data on soil moisture, air temperature, and humidity are stored in a database, and irrigation is automated based on soil moisture levels. The goal is to enhance water efficiency, minimize risks associated with over or under-watering due to environmental variations, and improve both yield and quality of the chili crop. This IoT-based system aims to simplify chili plant management for Pentur Village farmers and significantly boost agricultural output.

The utilization of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the agricultural sector offers an innovative solution to overcome the inefficiencies of traditional irrigation systems, which are still commonly applied in vocational education environments such as SMKN 2 Tanah Putih. This study aims to design and implement an automatic irrigation system based on IoT using soil moisture sensors, an Arduino microcontroller, and an ESP8266 communication module. The system enables real-time monitoring and control of plant watering via an internet-based application. The implementation results demonstrate increased efficiency in water usage and more optimal plant maintenance compared to conventional methods. By integrating technology into learning practices and school-based agricultural activities, this project not only supports local food security efforts but also provides a concrete contribution to the adoption of sustainable agriculture in educational institutions.

Pemerintah Indonesia secara berkelanjutan menjalankan berbagai program bantuan di sektor peternakan sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan peternak. Namun, implementasi program tersebut masih menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, seperti kurangnya integrasi data, ketidaktepatan sasaran, dan terbatasnya alat bantu pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan data peternakan ke dalam sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (Decision Support System) yang dapat digunakan oleh pemerintah dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program bantuan secara lebih efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mixed Method dengan pendekatan Exploratory Sequential Design, yang dimulai dengan pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui wawancara dan studi kasus untuk menggali kebutuhan serta tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pemangku kepentingan di sektor peternakan. Hasil dari tahap eksploratif ini digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengembangan sistem berbasis data kuantitatif yang mengintegrasikan informasi peternakan dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam optimalisasi penyaluran bantuan pemerintah di bidang peternakan, sekaligus mendukung transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan data sektor pertanian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk pengembangan sistem serupa di sektor lain yang membutuhkan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data dan spasial.

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu pembudidaya ikan air tawar di sepanjang Sungai Kemuning, Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan, dalam meningkatkan efisiensi budidaya melalui penerapan kolam terpal sistem resirkulasi dengan biofilter berbasis energi surya. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perancangan dan pembuatan kolam terpal berukuran 2 × 1 × 0,5 m, pemasangan sistem filtrasi tiga lapis (mekanis, biologis, kimia), serta integrasi pompa dan aerator bertenaga surya. Kelompok mitra mendapatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan agar sistem dapat dioperasikan secara berkelanjutan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem resirkulasi mampu mengurangi penggunaan air hingga ±75% dibanding metode konvensional, menjaga kualitas air tetap optimal dengan pH dan kadar amonia yang stabil, serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan (>90%). Pemanfaatan energi surya menekan biaya operasional dan mendukung praktik budidaya ramah lingkungan. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan pengetahuan pembudidaya, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga dan ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Inovasi ini dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan kondisi serupa sebagai model teknologi akuakultur berkelanjutan

Social changes and lifestyles of the elderly and children at the Al-Hikmah orphanage are very different from before living in the orphanage and after living in the orphanage. The purpose of this study was to see the extent of social changes and lifestyles of the elderly and children at the Al-Hikmah orphanage. The method used in this study is capacity building which aims to increase individual or group understanding of the problems they face while equipping them with ways to overcome them independently. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant increase in the knowledge of the elderly about cholesterol and hypertension. Before the intervention, 40% of the elderly still did not understand the mpact of cholesterol and hypertension. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant increase in children's knowledge about healthy lifestyles. As many as 30% of children at the Al-Hikmah orphanage still did not understand what a healthy lifestyle was

Community empowerment based on groups is an effective strategy to achieve food security in Lumban Gurning Village. This study aims to identify the potential and challenges in increasing food availability. With a participatory approach, community groups were formed to manage local resources sustainably. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, field observations, and surveys. The analysis was conducted using the SWOT method and descriptive analysis. The results showed that empowerment groups were able to increase food production, diversify crops, and reduce dependence on external food. This initiative also raised awareness of the importance of a healthy diet and balanced nutrition, and facilitated the use of information technology for marketing local products. However, challenges such as access to capital, unmet weather, and infrastructure still need to be overcome. Collaboration between the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector is needed to support the absence of this program. By strengthening the capacity of community groups, it is hoped that Lumban Gurning Village can achieve better food security and encourage sustainable development.

This community service program was conducted in Rantau Panjang Kiri Village, Riau, with the goal of enhancing food security through chili cultivation as the main commodity. The village faces significant challenges in food security due to heavy reliance on rice as the staple crop, making it vulnerable to climate change and market price fluctuations. To address these issues, training and mentoring were provided to farmers to develop their skills in sustainable chili cultivation. The program involved a series of phases including socialization, practical training, and evaluation. Socialization aimed to provide a basic understanding of the importance of crop diversification, while hands-on training focused on chili cultivation techniques, ranging from seed selection and land preparation to pest and disease control. Evaluation was conducted to measure the improvement in participants' knowledge and skills, as well as the impact of the program on chili production in the village. The results of the program showed a significant increase in farmers' understanding and skills regarding chili cultivation, as well as an increase in harvest yields, which helped strengthen the village's food security. Additionally, the program successfully raised farmers' awareness of the importance of optimal land use and reduced dependency on rice. Thus, this community service program not only supports local food security but also improves farmers' economic welfare through agricultural commodity diversification.

Bantuan Pangan Penting Contoh Program Non Tunai (BPNT) adalah program subsidi pangan sebagai wujud upaya pemerintah meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan memberikan perlindungan kepada keluarga miskin melalui pendistribusian beras. Setiap keluarga akan menerima Rp. 110.000,-/bulan titik penyalurannya. Peneliti mengambil fokus di Kelurahan Majasari Kecamatan Prabumulih Selatan. Kenyataannya, implementasi kebijakan BPNT tidak selalu mempertimbangkan kebijakan yang full on procedure karena tergantung pada kondisi dan situasi masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pelaksanaan program Bantuan Pangan Penting Contoh Non Tunai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dari berbagai informan yang telah ditentukan. Dalam penelitian kualitatif, data diambil dari berbagai sumber dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang beragam (triangulasi) dan terus menerus hingga jenuh. Hasil penelitian ini adalah faktor penentu pelaksanaan program BPNT di Kelurahan Majasari Kecamatan Prabumulih Selatan disebabkan oleh faktor sikap (disposisi) yang kurang berhasil dalam kualitas beras, sasaran rumah tangga penerima bantuan bantuan pangan krusial Contoh Non Tunai (BPNT), jumlah rumah tangga penerima manfaat sasaran beras.

Aquaponics, as a sustainable agriculture system that combines aquaculture and hydroponics, has become an attractive alternative to growing fish and plants in one container. One example of the implementation of this system is in Kandri Village, Gunungpati Subdistrict, Semarang City, where a thematic village is implementing this concept. The community service effort in the village aims to revive the existing aquaponic system and invite residents to participate in preserving this system so that it can be utilised as a local food source. The community service activities were conducted through a participatory method involving socialisation activities and educational approaches. The goal was to empower the community in terms of sustainability of the aquaponic system. Through this approach, it is expected that the community can understand and practice the basic concepts needed to maintain the sustainability of the system. The impact of this service activity is the return of aquaponic system activities in Kandri Village. This is an important step in maintaining local food security in the area. By reviving this system, the community can utilise the results as a sustainable and environmentally friendly source of additional food. Thus, this community service activity not only provides practical benefits in terms of food fulfilment, but also empowers the community to become more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The experience of the Covid-19 incident has encouraged us to carry out food security activities. To increase the food security of the villagers assisted by the PPM AAL Community Service Team at Rumdis Pesapen Surabaya, this was done by developing plantations and hydroponics with the NTF system. The development of this plantation was carried out from the start, namely the plantation from abandoned land to becoming a garden. At the same time, the hydroponic one went from non-existent to existing until harvest. Implementation of Food Security by: 1) Socialization and training, 2) Formation of farmer groups, and 3) Monitoring and assistance in the Assisted Villages. Plantation and hydroponic systems are very potential and useful solutions for increasing income, and food availability, opening up new business opportunities, and can preserve the environment, and being part of efforts to realize sustainable agriculture and improve community welfare

Rantau Bais Kepenghuuan has quite potential catfish ponds, usually the results of catfish ponds are sold in the form of fresh fish without any management so that management of catfish can increase the added value of catfish and become a productive economic potential for SMEs. The outreach and shredded making activities were carried out on August 12 2023 with the target community being 34 young people from Rantau Bais Penghuluan, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The aim of this outreach is to create catfish-based products, provide information and training to improve community skills in processing catfish and develop local products by mobilizing MSMEs. The methods used are counseling, training and assistance in the process of making catfish floss right through to packaging under the Karabon23 brand and marketing. The results of the activities were the formation of a group of shredded catfish producers.

Vegetables play an important role in human life. Because vegetables are a source of vitamins and minerals that are good for health. The large number of cases of stunting in children today is caused by, among other things, a lack of nutritious food, including vegetables. In general, the people of Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency do not fully utilize their home gardens. By distributing vegetable seeds to women farmer groups (KWT) in Colomadu District, the Women Farmer Groups can optimize their yard land so as to support the Framework for Supporting Family Food Security. Steps taken in the community service activity "Empowerment of Women Farming Groups (KWT) through the distribution of vegetable seeds in order to support family food security. including: First step, Coordination with the head of the Neighborhood Association (RT), this activity is the first step in community service activities, the purpose of this activity is to ask for permission to carry out community service activities and ask about what the Women's Farmers Group (KWT) needs. in order to support family food security. The second step, namely implementation, this activity is a series of the first step, after a meeting point has been reached for coordination activities, the day for carrying out community service activities is determined.

Pangan merupakan hal yang menjadi dasar kebutuhan utama manusia dan berkaitan dengan salah satu poin dalam konsep human security yakni ketahanan pangan. Salah satu indikator penting dari ketahanan pangan yang umum digunakan adalah ketersediaan pangan. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih banyak masyarakat Indonesia yang kesulitan dalam hal ketersediaan pangan. Hal ini sangat kontras dengan kondisi tingginya jumlah sampah makanan atau food loss and waste (FLW) di Indonesia. Masalah sampah makanan di Indonesia dapat dikatakan cukup serius karena mempengaruhi ketersediaan pangan sehingga sangat berdampak terhadap ketahanan pangan dalam negeri. Diperlukan upaya pengelolaan lebih lanjut dari seluruh pihak seperti aktor pemerintah dan aktor non-pemerintah. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih mendalam mengenai kondisi FLW di Indonesia dan peran pihak multi-aktor untuk mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional melalui pengelolaan FLW tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode kualitatif, serta studi literatur yang dilengkapi dengan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, peneliti mendapatkan data dan informasi guna membantu menjelaskan peran yang dilaksanakan dari pihak multi-aktor tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi FLW di Indonesia masih sangat tinggi sehingga dibutuhkan penanganan yang tepat untuk permasalahan ini. Dapat dilihat pula bahwa aktor negara dan non-negara sama-sama telah berperan dalam penanganan FLW tersebut dan membangun kolaborasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi FLW yang tinggi di Indonesia telah mendapatkan penanganan pengelolaan dari pihak multi-aktor yang saling membangun kerja sama dengan mitra masing-masing serta saling memberi dukungan guna mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional.

Membangun sistem pengetahuan dan ketahanan pangan, sosial, dan ekologi dalam menghadapi krisis dan dampak pandemi Corona Virus Disease (COVID 19). Sasaran dari program ini adalah masyarakat transmigrant di kecamatan wonosari Kabupaten Boalemo Provinsi Gorontalo. Masyarak transmigran adalah masyarakat yang terntan terhadap berbagai tekanan seperti tekanan ekologi dari lahan marjinal, tingkat kesuburan tanah yang rendah serta kemiskinan akibat ketidakmampuan mengelola lahan. Kerentanan tersebut apabila tidak diatasi akan menjadi kegentingan yang menyebabkan banyaknya transmigrant yang akan meninggalkan lokasi. Untuk mngetasi hal tersebut maka diperlukan usaha agar transmigran memiliki usaha yang kuat untuk mengeliola lahan terebut. Program ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap membangun pusat informasi dan Pengetahuan Komunitas, membentuk dan menjalankan satuan tugas (Satgas) Royongan COVID-19, membangun Sistem ketahanan Pangan dan membangun sistem ekonomi komunitas.

Agro Wates Semarang mempunyai masalah dalam pengelolaan agro yang erat kaitannya dengan pengembangan kawasan agro sebagai daya tarik wisata, sehingga dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Pada umumnya Agro Wates hanya sebagai lahan Agro yang dikelola oleh kelompok tani, dengan adanya pendampingan Tim STIEPARI Semarang memberikan dampak pendampingan yang bermanfaat dalam pengembangan Agro Wates yaitu limbah Nasi Basi yang selalu mencemari lingkungan akibat dibuang oleh masyarakat, dan dianggap tidak penting. Dibutuhkannya peran penyuluh yang memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Di sisi lain.lain, Pengolahan Limbah dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organik yang berkualitas dan dapat sebagai nutrisi unuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman. Hasil dari pendampingan masyarakat ini, pengelola, kelompok tani dan masyarakat sangat aktif berdiskusi dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelolaan limbah nasi sebagai pupuk organik dapat menciptakan ketahanan pangan. Selain itu dapat dijadikan paket wisata agro yang menarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke Agro wates melalui paket wisata edukasi. Selain itu dapat menjadi guide lokal, memahami pengelolaan wisata agro sebagai edukasi, berwirausaha dan menghasilkan peningkatan pendapatan ekonomi.

SEWAGATI: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Indonesia 2022 BADAN PENERBIT STIEPARI PRESS

Fakultas Vokasi Universitas Stikubank bersinergi dengan Fermipan sebagai mitra DUDI berkolaborasi mengadakan kegiatan Vocational Skill Short Course bagi siswa SMK Nusaputera 2 Semarang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah pemberian upgrade skill berupa pengolahan produk makanan mengggunakan teknik fusion food untuk meningkatkn nilai jual dan ketahanan pangan pada produk kearifan lokal yaitu pumkin dan ubi ungu, serta berkolaborasi dengan pastry  chef dari mitra DUDI yaitu Fermipan kepada siswa perhotelan SMK Nusaputera 2 Semarang. Pembuatan produk glaze pumkin donut dan bakpao karakter isi ubi ungu, sekaligus memberikan arahan pembuatan kemasan yang menarik dan cara pemasarannya di sosial media. Metode dari kegiatan “Teknik Fussion untuk olahan Donat (Glazed Pumkin Donnut) dan Bakpao (Bakpao Karakter Ubi Ungu) dalam rangka Kemandirian Pangan bagi SMK Nusaputera 2 Semarang” meliputi pengenalan alat, bahan dan pastry kitchen. Kemudian dilanjut dengan penjelasan resep dan praktik secara langsung di Pastry Kitchen bersama team dari dosen perhotelan, fakultas vokasi Universitas Stikubank berkolaborasi dengan chef Aryo sebagai praktisi dari team Fermipan. Dilanjut dengan evalusasi hasil praktek yang telah dibuat oleh siswa siswi SMK Nusaputera 2 Semarang, apakah sudah sesuai dengan kriteria hasil yang diharapkan dari bakpao dan donat. Hasil peserta mendapatkan pelatihan skill pengolahan pumkin dan ubi ungu menggunakan teknik fussion food, Peserta (khalayak sasaran) dapat mengolah produk dengan bahan dasar pumkin dan ubi ungu menggunakan teknik fusion food yaitu Glaze Pumkin Donnut dan Bakpao Karakter isi Ubi Ungu, dapat meningkatkan nilai jual dari produk komoditas lokal pumkin dan ubi ungu. Peserta (khalayak sasaran) mendapatkan skill tentang variasi produk donut dan bakpao, sehingga mendorong mereka menjadi youth foodpreneur. Dampak dilakukan pengabdian Siswa SMK Nusaputera 2 Semarang mendapatkan upgrade skill di bidang culinary dan mengenalkan teknik fussion food yang sebelumnya mereka yang belum dapatkan di bangku sekolah dengan bahan dasar pumkin dan ubi ungu.
