This study examines the concept of God’s holiness in Leviticus 10:1–7 through an exegetical approach to the event of the “strange fire” offered by Nadab and Abihu. The background of this research lies in the need to rediscover the true meaning of God’s holiness, which is often misunderstood in contemporary worship practices. The purpose of this study is to explore the theological meaning of the passage and its implications for faith and worship. The research uses a qualitative method based on literature study, focusing on historical, literary, and thematic analysis of the biblical text. The findings reveal that God’s holiness in this passage is absolute and cannot be violated without serious consequences. The action of Nadab and Abihu in offering unauthorized fire shows that worship is not only about sincere intention but also about obedience to God’s commands. The immediate divine judgment highlights that God’s holiness demands total reverence. Furthermore, this event serves as a warning for the community to maintain holiness in worship. In conclusion, God’s holiness in Leviticus 10:1–7 is radical and requires complete obedience from humanity. The implication of this study is the importance of cultivating reverence, discipline, and obedience in worship, ensuring that faith practices are aligned with God’s will rather than human preference.

Holiness is the key to salvation in Christianity because salvation is the main goal in Christianity, but in achieving salvation it takes holiness of life as the key for someone to be saved as written in the book of Hebrews 14: 12 that without holiness no one will see God. The writing of this article uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the literature study method which is carried out by collecting various writings, both contained in print media, theses, articles, journals, papers, and others that are relevant to the material discussed in this article. in achieving holiness, a process is needed in achieving it, so one of the steps in achieving holiness is to control the tongue because the Bible notes that who can control his tongue is perfect, the conclusion is that by practicing controlling our tongue / words every day will help us achieve holiness by keeping the tongue from being used to say things related to sin.

This article explores the importance of maintaining holiness of life as a response to God's work of salvation through Jesus Christ, based on Galatians 3:26. Holiness of life reflects the identity of God's children and is a calling for every believer to live according to His will. Modern challenges such as the influence of social media, materialistic lifestyles, and promiscuity often hinder holy living. However, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and spiritual disciplines, believers can stick to Biblical values and maintain their holiness. This article uses a qualitative approach with text analysis to explore the theme of holiness of life and its relevance for Christians today. The results are expected to help readers understand the importance of maintaining holiness as part of their identity as children of God.

This research focuses on the influence of the Internet and social media on the centralization of chastity among the youth of St. Vincent A Paulo Parish, Malang. The author's observations of several human phenomena experiencing a crisis of faith due to social media. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is a questionnaire. A qualitative approach like this was chosen because the author believes that by using this approach it is possible to describe the problem being studied as a whole. The author distributed fourteen (14) questionnaires. This question is divided into two parts, the first question is answered directly, the second question is answered with a brief explanation. Research materials were distributed to OMK (Catholic Youth) Parish of St Vincentius A Paulo Malang. The process and analysis used in this research is the interactive data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The analysis consists of four steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The professionalism of CHG (PAK) teachers is a crucial element in improving the quality of education and shaping student character. The example expected of a PAK CHG teacher is holiness of life like Jesus Christ. This article outlines the relationship between the professionalism of PAK teachers and holiness of life as an example, as taught in the Bible. The research method used is qualitative, by collecting information from various sources of literature that can be accounted for academically. The results show that holiness of life according to the Bible refers to separation from sin and evil, and being like Jesus Christ who is holy. The professionalism of PAK teachers includes personality competence, where being a role model is a key aspect. PAK teachers are required to live in holiness and imitate the life of Jesus. Holiness of life becomes the foundation for the professionalism of PAK teachers, which is then implemented in providing examples to students. This study concludes that to achieve holiness of life, self-knowledge and self-control are needed, as well as awareness of the importance of obeying biblical teachings in daily life. Thus, being holy like Jesus is a true form of professionalism for PAK teachers

Semua orang yang dibaptis dipangil untuk menjadi kudus. Panggilan kepada kekudusan dilihat sebagai sebuah “exodus” dari dari sendiri. “Exodus” dalam arti bahwa seseorang harus dapat meninggalkan segala meuju segala, kata St Yohanes dari Salib. Pertanyaannya, bagaimana supaya seseorang bisa “exodus”? Bagaimana seseorang bisa tahu jalan menunju ke puncak gunung? Menjawab pertanyaan ini, kita berangkat dari ajaran St Yohanes dari Salib tentang pembimbing rohani. Dalam perjalanan menunju kekudusan diperlukan kehadiran seorang pembimbing rohani. Pembimbing rohani, hadir sebagai pemandu menuju ke puncak gunung. Puncak dari perjalanan jiwa adalah persatuan dengan Allah.

Panggilan sebagai imam merupakan panggilan yang sangat istimewa. Panggilan imamat merupakan anugerah ilahi khusus di dalam rencana kasih dan penyelamatan Allah bagi seluruh umat manusia. Mereka dipanggil untuk tujuan yang luhur dan mulia; untuk menjadi teladan serta harapan dalam menjawab kebutuhan rohani kawanan domba-Nya melalui tugas pelayanan mereka sebagai ‘alter Christus’. Rahmat tahbisan yang diterima oleh para imam membuat mereka menjadi gambar Kristus sendiri, Sang Imam Agung. Sebagai imam mereka mengambil bagian dalam tridharma pokok Kristus, yaitu: “Mewartakan Sabda (nabi/guru), menguduskan umat Allah (imam), dan menggembalakan umat Allah (raja). Namun, karena kelemahan dan dosa, tidak sedikit imam yang telah terseret dalam arus dunia ini dan cenderung menjauhkan diri dari Allah sehingga merusak gambar Kristus dalam diri para imam. Berhadapan dengan tantangan para imam mencapai kekudusan sebagai ‘alter Christus’, penulis tertarik menulis paper ini untuk mencoba mengerti spiritualitas imamat dan mencari sarana terbaik dalam upaya mencapai kekudusan bagi para imam (calon imam).

“Kepercayaan dan cintakasih” dua kata yang tidak terpisahkan dan sangat penting dalam tulisan-tulisan St. Theresia dari Lisieux karena mengungkapkan inti dari doktrinnya, dan seperti dua “suar” yang menerangi jalan kekudusannya. Bagi St. Theresia kepercayaan dan cintakasih memiliki hubungan yang dinamis. Kepercayaan itulah yang harus menuntun kita pada Cintakasih. Dalam bahasa St. Theresia, kepercayaan dan cintakasih juga merupakan ungkapan khusus yang menandakan harapan dan kasih. Hal ini terlihat ketika ia menafsirkan kidung pujian cintakasih Paulus (1Kor 13) sebagai pewahyuan Cintakasih di dalam hati (jantung) Gereja. Dalam tulisan-tulisannya kata “kepercayaan” itu sesungguhnya berarti harapan teologis yaitu harapan dalam Kerahiman Yesus Sang Penebus yang tak terbatas. Harapan yang pasti untuk menerima dari-Nya karunia keselamatan kekal, atau “Surga”. Inilah cakrawala harapan yang diajarkan St. Theresia dari Lisieux dalam seluruh hidup dan karyanya.

Pernikahan telah dirancang oleh Allah sendiri dengan tujuan kebaikan manusia. Dalam keluarga Kristen, pernikahan adalah sesuatu yang sangat penting. Hal ini telah diamanatkan Allah kepada manusia sejak semula “Beranak cuculah dan bertambah banyak; penuhilah bumi …” (Kejadian 1:28). Pernikahan dianugerahkan agar suami dan istri dapat saling meneguhkan, dengan hidup bersama dengan setia dalam kekurangan dan kelimpahan, dalam suka dan duka. Pasangan suami-istri dapat saling mengenal dalam kasih, dan melalui kesenangan persatuan tubuh dapat meneguhkan persatuan hati dan hidupnya. Karena pernikahan adalah salah satu mandat dari Allah, manusia patut menjaga kekudusan pernikahan. Dengan demikian, kehidupan pernikahan akan menjadi harmonis dengan dasar Takut akan Allah. Namun, telah banyak pernikahan Kristen yang berujung pada perceraian. Pandangan tentang berkat yang terkait dengan pernikahan alkitabiah semakin susut. Padahal, pernikahan merupakan suatu perjanjian sakral. Karena itu, menjadi permasalahan dalam tulisan ini ialah bagaimana teologi Paulus mengenai pernikahan ditinjau dari kitab 1 Korintus 7. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif, melalui studi kepustakaan dengan tujuan bahwa pasangan suami-istri mengerti makna, tujuan, dan dasar yang menjadi keteguhan sebuah pernikahan yakni teladan kasih Kristus, yang sekaligus menjadi hasil dari pembahasan ini.

Hidup religius sebagai “tanda kekudusan Gereja”, sebuah pernyataan yang menemukan verifikasi dalam sejarah hagiografi dimana hampir semua orang kudus de fakto, umumnya telah menjalani bentuk hidup bakti. Namun jika dilihat secara statistik, kaum religius selalu menjadi minoritas yang mutlak sangat sedikit dalam Gereja. Maka dapat dipahami pentingnya perhatian kita akan hal ini. Dalam konteks ini doktrin dan pengalaman Santa Teresa dari Avila dapat memberi kontribusi penting untuk memahami kekudusan dalam hidup religius dan bagaimana mencapainya.
