The implementation method includes providing training on the basics of digital literacy, digital-based entrepreneurial mentoring, and hands-on practice in using social media as a promotional tool, marketplaces as sales channels, and digital financial services to support business transactions. The results of the activity indicate an increase in public understanding of the use of digital technology, a change in a more adaptive entrepreneurial mindset, and the emergence of various digital-based business initiatives. The use of digital technology has been proven to open new economic opportunities and make a positive contribution to increasing family income.

This study explores how Generation Z constructs work values and meaning in modern organizations shaped by digitalization and social transformation. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach under a social constructivist paradigm, the research investigates the lived experiences of young professionals in the digital, creative, and startup sectors. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and non-participant observation and analyzed using thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006; Moustakas, 1994). Findings show that Generation Z defines work through three interrelated dimensions: (1) intrinsic motivation grounded in personal purpose and self-expression, (2) redefined productivity emphasizing creativity and emotional balance rather than quantitative output, and (3) job satisfaction derived from inclusive culture and adaptive leadership. These results support Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan, 2000) and Social Constructionism (Berger & Luckmann, 1966), showing that work meaning is socially constructed rather than objectively given. Overall, the study concludes that for Generation Z, work represents not merely economic activity but a medium for identity, contribution, and personal growth, urging organizations to embrace meaning-centered and value-driven leadership to enhance engagement and fulfillment.

However, many MSMEs continue to face challenges in the marketing aspect, particularly due to their reliance on conventional marketing methods that have limited reach and require relatively high costs. In response to these issues, this community service program aims to promote the digitalization of MSME marketing methods in Banjarmasin through intensive training and mentoring in the utilization of social media marketing. The implementation methods include an initial needs assessment survey to identify partners’ levels of understanding, workshops on digital marketing strategies, and hands-on mentoring for direct implementation on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. The results of the program indicate a significant improvement in MSME actors’ knowledge and skills, particularly in managing business accounts, developing content strategies, and creating visually appealing content that aligns with target market characteristics. Furthermore, MSME partners were able to expand their market reach more effectively and efficiently, which is expected to enhance business competitiveness and sustainability in the digital era.

The intersection between digital transformation and the halal economy has created new pathways for sustainable global development. This study explores how the Halal Digital Ecosystem (HDE)—an integrated network of producers, certifiers, regulators, and consumers—contributes to sustainable growth by aligning digital innovation with Islamic ethical principles. Employing a mixed-method explanatory sequential design, the research combines quantitative analysis using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) with qualitative interviews involving policymakers, halal entrepreneurs, and certification authorities from Indonesia, Malaysia, and GCC countries. The findings reveal that digital infrastructure readiness and certification transparency significantly influence sustainable growth, while innovation capability acts as a mediating factor that strengthens the relationship between digitalization and sustainability outcomes. Qualitative insights highlight persistent challenges, including fragmented cross-border governance, limited digital literacy among halal SMEs, and the absence of harmonized certification standards. These barriers indicate that achieving sustainability requires not only technological advancement but also ethical and institutional alignment based on maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. The study introduces the Halal Digital Ecosystem–Sustainability (HDE–S) Framework, providing both theoretical and practical contributions to the literature on sustainable digital economies. Policy implications emphasize the need for integrated halal digital governance, capacity building, and regional collaboration to enhance competitiveness, inclusivity, and ethical compliance in the global halal market.

This community service program was carried out in Dolok Kahean Village, Tapian Dolok District, Simalungun Regency, with the main focus on optimizing digital literacy to increase the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of this program is to strengthen the competitive position of MSMEs, especially Rengginang Ibu Saliem, who still rely on conventional marketing systems and have a minimal understanding of business digitalization. The method used is a participatory and educational approach, carried out in four systematic stages: needs assessment, material design, program implementation, and mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant achievements, with an increase in digital literacy understanding by 80% based on a comparison of pre-service and post-service. In practice, partners have succeeded in forming a business digital identity, namely @rengginanghuta_ibusaliem Instagram accounts, and are able to run digital marketing starting from content processes to customer interaction. Theoretically, these findings strengthen the argument that digital literacy is an essential foundation in facing the challenges of the digital economy, where increased competitiveness is not only influenced by technical skills, but also by changes in mindset and business independence. The implication of this program is that local MSMEs now have adequate capabilities and platforms to expand market reach beyond the village boundaries.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important and strategic role in supporting the overall economic structure, with a contribution of 61.97% to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSMEs, especially in rural areas, still face fundamental challenges, such as a lack of understanding and implementation of modern marketing and digital technologies. This service focuses on strategic efforts to empower Rengginang Ibu Saliem MSMEs in Dolok Kahean Village through a digital transformation program. The method used is descriptive qualitative Action Research, designed for direct program implementation and evaluation. The results of the pre-intervention showed that there was a severe digital gap in Rengginang products, although they had a tested taste, but still relied on traditional marketing models. Strategic intervention is carried out through two main pillars, namely, branding optimization by creating the trademark "Rengginang Huta" and a professional logo. Then the implementation of digital marketing through the construction of a virtual storefront on @rengginanghuta_ibusaliem's Instagram account. This program has succeeded in transforming these MSMEs into entities that are ready to compete in the digital ecosystem, in line with the statement that digitalization is the main imperative for MSMEs to survive. However, the evaluation stage identifies the issue of sustainability and digital independence as the next challenge. Long-term success requires more intensive post-program mentoring, focusing on digital operational management, to ensure independence and achieve real impact on improvement in Dolok Kahean Village.

National insight is an important foundation in the character development of Indonesia's young generation, especially in facing the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and changing values among adolescents. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to strengthen national insight for new students of SMAN 46 Jakarta through a contextual approach relevant to the conditions of today's youth. The contextual approach was chosen because it can help students understand the material by connecting the knowledge learned with their daily experiences, so that the learning process becomes more meaningful, easier to understand, and less abstract (Aminah et al., 2022; Parhan & Sukaenah, 2020). The methods used in this program include interactive counseling, group discussions, and reflections supported by audiovisual media close to students' daily lives, such as short videos, digital illustrations, and case simulations. This activity was held on July 14–16, 2025, as part of the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) and was attended by 450 new students in grade X. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the concept of national insight from a practical and contextual perspective, with a focus on the values of empathy, solidarity, mutual cooperation, anti-bullying, and positive creativity. Furthermore, this program succeeded in changing the paradigm of students from an understanding of national insight that initially tended to be normative and abstract to being more applicable in everyday life. This proves that strengthening national insight through a contextual approach can be an effective strategy in forming a young generation that is characterful, adaptive, and has social awareness.

This community service activity was carried out with the primary objective of improving the financial literacy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pesawaran Regency. Financial literacy is considered a fundamental aspect in maintaining business continuity, as it is directly related to the ability of business actors to manage income, record transactions regularly, develop short-term and long-term financial plans, and utilize digital technology as a supporting tool. Low financial literacy is often an obstacle to the development of MSMEs, so interventions in the form of structured training and mentoring are essential. The activity method includes several stages, namely a pre-test to measure initial conditions, interactive delivery of training materials, direct practice using digital financial applications, and a post-test to disseminate learning outcomes. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in all measured indicators. Basic financial literacy increased by 10.16 points, financial recording skills increased by 14.47 points, the ability to prepare financial plans increased by 12.43 points, while financial digitalization experienced the highest performance with an increase of 18.12 points. These findings confirm that financial literacy training programs not only improve conceptual knowledge but also develop the practical skills essential for MSMEs to face the challenges of the modern economic era. This increased understanding and skills are expected to make Pesawaran MSMEs more independent, adaptable to digital technology developments, and more competitive.

This community service program was carried out by students of Universitas Pelita Bangsa in Karangsetia Village, Karang Bahagia District, Bekasi Regency, as a concrete effort to strengthen the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in facing the challenges of digitalization. MSMEs in this area still encounter various obstacles, such as the absence of formal business legality, limited understanding of branding strategies, and minimal utilization of digital technology for both marketing and payment systems. These conditions have weakened business competitiveness and hindered the growth of local enterprises. The program focused on three interrelated aspects: legal compliance, brand development, and digital adoption. Business legality was facilitated through the issuance of the Business Identification Number (NIB), which provides legal certainty while granting access to government programs and financial institutions. Branding was strengthened by designing logos, banners, and simple promotional media to enhance business identity, professionalism, and consumer appeal. Digitalization was promoted through business registration on Google Maps to improve visibility, and the adoption of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a cashless payment method that is efficient, secure, and widely accepted. The methods employed included observation, socialization, mentoring, and participatory evaluation with business owners. The results demonstrated significant progress, as most MSMEs successfully obtained legal registration, adopted QRIS in daily transactions, registered their businesses on Google Maps, and developed clearer visual identities. This program had a positive impact by increasing entrepreneurial confidence, expanding market reach, and fostering awareness of the importance of digital transformation. Overall, the community service program contributed to strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability, and independence of MSMEs in Karangsetia Village, while supporting the development of the local economy.

This community service program focuses on enhancing digital literacy, documenting cultural traditions, and developing integrated promotional media through the EthnoGring platform in Tlemang Cultural Tourism Village, Lamongan. The activities were conducted in collaboration with the local tourism group, Pokdarwis “Bukit Inggil,” through stages of needs assessment, digital literacy training, cultural content production and curation, platform development, and monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate that digitalization strengthens community capacity to manage tourism promotion while simultaneously safeguarding cultural heritage in the face of modernization. Cultural outputs such as documentaries, photographs of traditional rituals, interview transcripts with cultural figures, and an e-book on the Nyanggring tradition serve not only as promotional tools but also as efforts to conserve collective community knowledge. The integration of these outputs into the EthnoGring platform, equipped with public service and tourism information features, highlights the strategic role of digital innovation in supporting sustainable tourism village development. Early impacts include broader exposure of Tlemang’s cultural heritage, the emergence of local economic initiatives, and the establishment of a more adaptive community organization. Although challenges remain, particularly in digital infrastructure, collective engagement and institutional support serve as key foundations for sustainability. Therefore, EthnoGring contributes not only to cultural preservation but also to strengthening the social, economic, and institutional dimensions of sustainable tourism.

The abundant rice husk waste in Legundi Village, Ngawi Regency, has not been used optimally and has the potential to cause environmental pollution. On the other hand, rural communities, especially the PKK Women's group, need business diversification to increase family income. Responding to these challenges, this community service program is carried out with the main objectives: (1) utilizing rice husk waste into husk charcoal products with economic value as a planting medium; (2) increasing income and empowering community groups; and (3) strengthening the capacity of digitizing MSMEs through online marketing assistance. The activity was carried out with a participatory method that prioritized the active involvement of the community. There are two main approaches to program implementation. First, training on the practice of making husk charcoal uses imperfect combustion techniques that are simple and environmentally friendly. Second, assistance in the digitalization of MSMEs which includes training in creating and managing e-commerce accounts (Shopee and Tokopedia), the production of visual and narrative-based promotional content, and digital marketing strategies that are adaptive to consumer trends. The results of the activity show that the community is able to process husk waste into packaged husk charcoal products with the brand "Saji Tani" which has selling value and market potential. In addition, the PKK Women's group showed capacity building in business management and the use of digital platforms to expand marketing access. This program not only succeeds in reducing the environmental impact of agricultural waste, but also encourages the economic independence of village communities through innovations based on local potential. Thus, this activity is a model of integrated community empowerment that combines environmental, economic, and digital technology aspects in a sustainable manner.
