Language errors in public spaces are still frequently found in various media, such as signboards, banners, billboards, and posters. This phenomenon not only indicates a deviation from standard Indonesian language rules but also has the potential to influence how people understand and use language. This study aims to describe the forms of language errors in public spaces, analyze them from a critical linguistic perspective, and identify their implications for public literacy. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a critical linguistic analysis approach. Data in the form of examples of language use in public spaces are analyzed based on aspects of spelling, diction, and sentence structure, then interpreted in relation to the social practices and ideologies that underlie them. The results of the study indicate that the dominant language errors include spelling errors, inappropriate word choice, and the use of ineffective sentence structures. From a critical linguistic perspective, these errors are not only caused by a lack of mastery of language rules but are also influenced by social habits, the reproduction of deviant language practices, and the tendency to use foreign languages to construct a certain image. These findings indicate that repeated exposure to language that does not conform to rules can affect the quality of public literacy. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen critical literacy and increase language awareness so that society is able to use and evaluate language more appropriately and responsibly.

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Large Language Models such as ChatGPT, has changed the paradigm of creative writing learning in secondary schools. However, empirical evidence regarding the relationship between the intensity of this technology utilization and the quality of students' literary works is still limited. This study aims to examine the relationship between AI utilization and the poetry writing skills of grade XI students at Karya Budi Putussibau Senior High School. The method used was a quantitative correlational method with a sample of N = 27 students selected through a random sampling technique. Data were collected using an AI utilization questionnaire (30 valid and reliable statements, (α= 0.975) and a poetry writing test assessed with an analytical rubric. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the level of AI utilization was in the high category (M =    3.70) and students' poetry writing skills were in the good category (M =  78.41). The Pearson Product Moment correlation test showed a very strong and significant positive relationship between the two variables (r = 0.978; p < 0.01). These findings confirm that proper AI integration acts as a creative catalyst that helps students explore diction and imagery structure in the poetry writing process.

This research is motivated by the low poetry writing skills of grade VIII B students at MTs Mujahidin Pontianak, evidenced by a pre-cycle average score of 64% and a classical completeness rate of only 34%. The primary issues include students' difficulties in developing imagination, word choice (diction), and the limited use of innovative learning media. This study aims to improve poetry writing skills through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Canva digital media. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects consisted of 23 students. The results indicated a significant improvement in each cycle. The students' average score increased to 80% in cycle I and reached 87% in cycle II. Classical completeness also rose from 65% in cycle I to 86% in cycle II. The use of Canva was proven to stimulate students' creativity and motivation in expressing ideas into aesthetic poetry. The conclusion of this study is that the integration of the PjBL model and Canva media is effective in improving the quality of both the process and the learning outcomes of poetry writing. It is suggested that teachers adopt this model as an innovative alternative for literature learning in the digital era.

This study was motivated by the phenomenon of increasing anti-feminism and digital misogyny in Germany, where constitutionally guaranteed equality has suffered a practical setback in the form of a decline in female representation in the Bundestag to 32,4%. This situation has triggered an urgent need for persuasive communication through state addresses. This study aims to analyze the emotional rhetoric (pathos) and intonation strategies in the Ansprache zum Welt-Frauentag in order to raise audience awareness. The method used is a mixed method of qualitative analysis of rhetoric by Aristoteles (2007) and quantitative digital acoustic analysis using Praat software supported theory by Kohler (1995). The data for this analysis are transcripts and audio recordings of the Ansprache zum Welt-Frauentag delivered by Bundespräsident Steinmeier. The results of the study identified three typologies of relationships between diction and intonation, namely contradiction, in which emotional diction is delivered in a flat tone to maintain objectivity; compensation, in which neutral legal references are given emotional weight through a rise in tone (late peak); and parallelism, which is the harmony between emotional diction and the highest voice frequency to build strong authority. Thus, this study confirms that the effectiveness of persuasion in a speech does not only depend on the text, but also on the flexibility of manipulating voice frequency, which strategically functions as an instrument for navigating the audience’s emotions.

This study examines the lexical and grammatical meanings of news headlines from the November 2025 edition of detik.com, posted on Instagram. The shift from a news site to a social media platform often necessitates adjustments to headlines, which can lead to shifts in meaning. To collect relevant headlines, this study employed a qualitative descriptive method with a listening and note-taking technique. The analysis shows that lexical meaning in headlines is evident through the use of words with basic dictionary meanings, such as names of people, places, objects, and actions. Grammatical meaning is discovered through affixation and reduplication, which can change or add to the meaning of basic words according to the context. These two types of meaning play a crucial role in creating concise, clear headlines that are appropriate for the way news is presented on Instagram. This study concludes that the formation of meaning in headlines on detik.com is influenced by a combination of lexical and grammatical meanings tailored to the communication needs of social media platforms.

The phenomenon of emotional healing has become increasingly prominent in popular culture as the younger generation experiences increasing loss, emotional exhaustion, and numbness. Popular music serves as a medium of expression, representing these emotional dynamics through poetic language and symbolic structures. This study aims to analyze the emotional representation of healing in Umay Shahab's song "Perayaan Mati Rasa" using Roland Barthes's semiotic approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, analyzing three layers of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth, through breaking down the lyrics into several lexicons and reading signs. The results show that (1) denotatively, the lyrics construct an emotional arc from inner tension to self-contemplation; (2) connotatively, the use of diction and imagery represents vulnerability, resilience, and emotional reflection; and (3) at the mythical level, the song constructs release as a form of emotional maturity and loss as a process of identity formation. Thus, this song functions as a cultural representation in interpreting the process of emotional healing in popular culture.

This study implements the Damerau-Levenshtein algorithm for an Indonesian spelling checking and correction system based on the distance editing approach. The main objective of this study is to develop a system capable of automatically detecting and correcting spelling errors at the character level through a matching process against the KBBI dictionary and the Indonesian corpus. The methods used include data collection, text pre-processing, system design, and implementation of the Damerau-Levenshtein algorithm which includes insertion, deletion, substitution, and transposition operations. Testing was conducted using 25 test data consisting of standard words and modified words for typographical errors. The results show that the system is able to measure all test data with an accuracy level of 100% on a limited dataset. In addition, the average Damerau-Levenshtein Distance value of 0.84 indicates that most errors are in the light category. Evaluation using a confusion matrix produces precision, recall, and F1-score values of 100% each. These results indicate that the Damerau-Levenshtein algorithm is effective in handling character-based spelling errors. However, the system still has limitations in handling complex semantic contexts and language variations. Therefore, further research is recommended to integrate language model-based approaches to improve the system's accuracy and generalization on real-world data.

With the advancement of technology, artificial intelligence tools have begun to emerge in the field of education, such as ChatGPT, which is now used by some teachers at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor to compare translations of Indonesian texts into Arabic. Although there are recognized reference books for correcting translations, there are discrepancies between machine translations, including errors in terminology selection and contradictions with the educational context. This raises questions about the accuracy of ChatGPT’s translations, making this study necessary to analyze and evaluate terminological errors. This study aims to analyze the translation errors made by ChatGPT when translating Indonesian articles into Arabic. This study also seeks to evaluate the quality of these translations based on the classification of terminological errors and Ali Al-Qasimi’s theory regarding the evaluation of terminology in terms of acceptance and rejection. This study employs a qualitative approach using content analysis, in which ChatGPT’s translations are compared with those in reference books, with reference to specialized Arabic dictionaries. Subsequently, the data was analyzed to identify error patterns and their acceptance levels within an educational context. The results indicate that translation errors can be classified into four main patterns: phonetic transfer, conceptual errors, semantic shifts, and inaccurate synonyms.

The Village Fund Policy is a state instrument in realizing village-based national development as mandated by Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. The Village Fund was designed as a form of state affirmation for villages that have experienced development inequality for years. However, in practice, the policy of cutting or reducing the allocation of the Village Fund resulting from changes in national fiscal policy, budget refocusing, and state economic pressures has created serious problems for the direction of the legal politics of village development. This study aims to analyze the legal politics of cutting the Village Fund and its implications for the principle of social justice as contained in the fifth principle of Pancasila and Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The study uses a normative juridical method with a legislative approach, a conceptual approach, and a philosophical approach. The sources of legal materials consist of primary legal materials in the form of laws and regulations, secondary legal materials in the form of books, journals, and scientific articles, and tertiary legal materials in the form of legal dictionaries and encyclopedias. The results of the study indicate that the cutting of the Village Fund in legal politics indicates a shift in the state's orientation from the welfare state concept to a more centralized and pragmatic fiscal approach. This policy has hampered village development, increased social inequality, weakened village community empowerment, and potentially violated the principle of distributive justice. Therefore, fiscal policy regarding Village Funds should maintain villages as the primary subjects of national development by strengthening the principles of fiscal decentralization and social justice. Keywords: Legal Politics, Village Funds, Social Justice, Welfare State, Fiscal Decentralization..

The proliferation of online gambling promotional comments on Indonesian social media has become a serious issue requiring fast and accurate automated handling. This study aims to implement a Hybrid Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method to classify online gambling comments and compare its performance with standalone RNN and LSTM models. The research utilized a dataset of 10,230 comments subjected to comprehensive preprocessing stages, including the normalization of non-standard language using a slang dictionary. Testing was conducted across three data-splitting scenarios: 90:10, 80:20, and 70:30. Experimental results demonstrate that the standalone LSTM model achieved the highest average accuracy of 97.45%. However, the Hybrid RNN–LSTM model showed significant superiority in terms of performance stability, yielding the lowest standard deviation (0.0027) and the smallest Coefficient of Variation (0.28%) across all scenarios. These findings indicate that while the LSTM architecture is highly effective at capturing short-text context, the Hybrid approach provides better robustness against fluctuations in data proportions, making it highly relevant for implementation as an automated detection system on social media.

This study aims to carry out a thorough analysis of the use of stylistic elements, particularly in terms of diction and language style, as applied by Pitoyo Amrih to shape the character of Gatotkaca in the novel Sisi Gelap Gatotkaca. The character of Gatotkaca, traditionally depicted as a flawless heroic figure, is reimagined by the author through a more humanistic and reflective linguistic approach. Using a qualitative descriptive method alongside stylistic literary criticism, this article examines how linguistic units within the text serve as rhetorical tools to reveal internal conflicts, existential burdens, and the darker aspects of the main character. The analysis process involves identifying word choices that carry a melancholic tone as well as the prominent use of figurative language, including comparisons, contrasts, and emphatic statements. The findings indicate that the use of archaic and philosophical diction, combined with sharp irony and metaphor, effectively transforms the image of Gatotkaca from merely a symbol of physical strength into a representation of human psychological fragility. This research contributes to literary criticism by highlighting how an author’s language style can alter readers' perceptions of established myths within society's culture.

Keamanan jaringan nirkabel menjadi perhatian kritis seiring meningkatnya penggunaan Wireless Local-Area Network (WLAN) diberbagai sektor.

Based on the ideal phenomenon of making any object a subject of discourse study, the author selects a book as the research object, using Norman Fairclough's theory as the analytical tool. Norman Fairclough's theory analyzes a text based on relations, identities, production, consumption, and socio-culture. The implementation of this theory is applied to the book titled Pengajian Ramadhan Kiai Duladi (Ramadhan Teachings by Kiai Duladi) to determine the author's intention within the text based on the text's production and the socio-cultural context of religious issues that occur during the month of Ramadhan. The research model used is qualitative descriptive. The research object is sourced from a title called Kiai Pemburu Dolar (Kiai the Dollar Hunter). For data collection, the author utilizes the documentation technique, gathering information or evidence through the examination of archives and documents that have been transcribed into written form. The results of the research conclude that, in the textual dimension, the book's author emphasizes the use of diction in their work. Meanwhile, in the discursive practice dimension, the author adjusts their status and educational background in the text's production, and the consumption is intended for all social levels. In the socio-cultural dimension, the author focuses more on social issues related to religion that frequently arise during the month of Ramadhan.

The study of meaning in language, whether found in words, phrases, or sentences, is known as semantics. Language often has diverse or metaphorical meanings in literary works such as songs, which can confuse listeners. This becomes a problem when listeners understand song lyrics differently from what the artist intended. The song “Kembali Pulang” by Suara Kayu and Feby Putri, which is currently popular, is an example of lyrics rich in symbolism and meaning, making it interesting to study semantically. Abdul Chaer's semantic theory, which focuses on determining lexical and grammatical meaning, forms the basis of this approach. Lexical meaning, which includes synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, hyponyms, polysemy, redundancy, and ambiguity, is the dictionary meaning or actual meaning. However, meanings that have undergone composition, reduplication, and affixation are known as grammatical meanings. To correctly and thoroughly understand the message conveyed by the song “Kembali Pulang” by Suara Kayu and Feby Putri, this study aims to clarify the lexical and grammatical meanings contained in the song lyrics. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, which included analysis of the song lyrics along with recording, listening, and reading strategies.

Abortion is prohibited under the Indonesian criminal law system. In fact, it is categorized as a crime against life, regulated by several laws and regulations, including the Criminal Code and the Health Law. Indonesian criminal law defines abortion as "Termination of Pregnancy," which is regulated by Articles 299, 346, 347, 348, and 349 of the Criminal Code. These articles clearly and unequivocally prohibit abortion for any reason, including abortion for emergency (forced) reasons, such as rape. This type of research is normative legal research (normative legal research method). The normative legal research method is a library legal research conducted by examining legal literature materials such as Legislation, Judge's Decisions, Books, Journals, Theses and Legal Dictionaries. The results of the study indicate that (1) The Judge imposed a sentence of 2 (two) years. This seems light and unfair because the defendant's actions should have been given a heavier sentence as stated in the case that the defendant had committed his crimes seven times. (2) The judge's considerations in imposing criminal sanctions in Decision Number 1224/Pid.Sus/PN.Mks, concluded that the judge's decision to sentence the defendant to two years in prison was lenient and did not reflect the sense of justice that should have been upheld. This was because the defendant's actions were classified as a serious crime that had a widespread moral and social impact on society.
