The rapid growth of e-commerce has intensified the need to understand transaction patterns and customer purchasing behavior as a foundation for strategic decision-making. This study aims to analyze e-commerce transaction patterns and customer purchasing behavior based on demographic characteristics and transaction timing. By utilizing e-commerce transaction data, this research seeks to provide a more comprehensive understanding of customers’ purchasing tendencies and the factors influencing their behavior. This study employs Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) as the primary method to descriptively explore data characteristics through various statistical visualizations, including histograms, bar charts, line graphs, and boxplots. The analysis conducted to identify transaction trends, the distribution of purchase values, and behavioral differences across demographic groups and specific time periods. The results indicate that e-commerce transaction patterns tend to increase during certain periods, particularly in the latter part of the observation timeframe, suggesting the influence of seasonal factors and promotional strategies. The distribution of transaction values is asymmetric, with most transactions occurring in the low to medium value range, while high-value transactions are conducted by a relatively small proportion of customers. Furthermore, variations in purchasing behavior are observed across demographic groups in terms of transaction frequency and value, despite relatively balanced transaction volumes. The findings confirm that e-commerce customer purchasing behavior is influenced by a combination of temporal factors and demographic characteristics. These results are expected to serve as a basis for e-commerce practitioners in developing more targeted marketing strategies and as a reference for future research in the field of e-commerce data analytics.

Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan melalui metrik Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), serta koefisien determinasi (R²).

Dermatophytosis is a superficial fungal infection of the skin, hair, and nails that is often found in tropical climates such as Indonesia, including Jambi City, which has high humidity and community habits that can support fungal growth. This study aims to describe the demographic characteristics of dermatophytosis patients who received treatment at a private dermatologist and venereologist in Jambi City throughout 2023. This study used a descriptive design using secondary data from patient medical records. A total of 399 patients who met the inclusion criteria were analyzed univariately and the results are presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results showed that tinea corporis was the most common type of dermatophytosis, followed by tinea cruris and tinea capitis. The majority of patients were male, aged 17–25 years, had a high school education, and worked as students. The most common locations of lesions were on the trunk and groin. These findings suggest that the productive age group is more susceptible to dermatophytosis, possibly related to high physical activity, excessive sweating, and suboptimal personal hygiene. This research is expected to be the basis for planning health education regarding the prevention of fungal infections and improving clean and healthy living behavior in the community.

This study investigates the differences in customer satisfaction levels toward the services of Bank Syariah Indonesia by employing a nonparametric statistical approach. Customer satisfaction is a critical benchmark in Islamic banking, as it not only reflects the quality of services but also the extent to which sharia compliance is embedded in financial practices. Given that satisfaction data are generally ordinal and may not fulfill the assumptions of normal distribution, nonparametric methods such as the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests were selected as the primary analytical tools. This research adopts a qualitative library-based method by reviewing relevant literature, scientific articles, and previous empirical studies to construct a comprehensive understanding of customer satisfaction measurement within Islamic banking. The findings highlight that variations in satisfaction are influenced by multiple factors, including service speed, staff friendliness, accessibility of digital platforms, and clarity of sharia principles applied in daily operations. Results further suggest that demographic characteristics and service usage frequency significantly shape satisfaction differences across customer groups. Theoretically, this study enriches the body of knowledge on the application of nonparametric statistics in Islamic banking research, while practically, it provides actionable insights for Bank Syariah Indonesia in formulating adaptive service strategies. These contributions are expected to assist the bank in strengthening customer loyalty, enhancing competitiveness, and sustaining growth in the dynamic modern banking industry. Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of demographic factors on the compliance of income tax (PPh) reporting among elementary school teachers in Padang City. Compliance with income tax reporting is crucial in supporting a sound and fair tax system. The demographic factors examined in this study include age, education level, and length of teaching. These three factors were chosen because they have the potential to influence teachers' level of understanding and awareness regarding their tax obligations. A quantitative approach was used in this study using a survey method conducted in Padang City. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 39 respondents who were elementary school teachers in the area. The distributed questionnaires contained questions related to demographic factors and income tax reporting compliance. The collected data were then analyzed using a normality test and multiple linear regression to examine the influence of demographic factors on PPh reporting compliance. The results of the normality test showed that the data obtained were normally distributed, meaning the collected data could be used for further analysis. A multiple linear regression test was used to determine the simultaneous influence of demographic factors on PPh reporting compliance. The results of the analysis showed that demographic factors simultaneously had a significant effect on PPh reporting compliance among elementary school teachers in Padang City. This indicates that teachers' demographic characteristics, such as age, education level, and length of teaching, are closely related to their awareness of reporting income tax. Partially, the test results indicate that age and education level significantly influence compliance with income tax reporting. Older teachers tend to have a better understanding of tax obligations, while teachers with higher education levels are also more aware of the importance of reporting their taxes correctly.
