This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure, asset growth, and firm size on firm value in plastic and packaging sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. Firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV), capital structure is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), asset growth is measured by the asset growth ratio, and firm size is measured using the natural logarithm of total assets. This research employed an explanatory quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from financial statements, annual reports, and stock price data. The sample consisted of 11 companies observed over five years, resulting in 55 panel data observations. Data were analyzed using panel data regression through the Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model, and Random Effect Model, with model selection based on the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests. The results indicate that capital structure, asset growth, and firm size have no significant effect on firm value, either partially or simultaneously. These findings suggest that firm value in the plastic and packaging sub-sector is not sufficiently explained by financing structure, asset expansion, or company size. Investors are more likely to consider other factors, such as profitability, operational efficiency, cash flow, sales growth, raw material risk, and sustainability prospects. Therefore, companies should improve financial performance, asset efficiency, cost control, and sustainable innovation to enhance firm value.

This study aims to analyze the influence of fundamental and technical factors on stock price movements in the Indonesian capital market. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing secondary data obtained from various scientific literature sources as well as stock price data from the Investing platform. The results indicate that there are significant variations in stock prices among companies, reflecting differences in fundamental performance such as profitability, capital structure, and company prospects. In addition, from a technical perspective, stock price movements exhibit dynamic fluctuations, including both increases and decreases, influenced by market sentiment and investor responses to available information. The varying levels of stock volatility also indicate differences in investment risk. Trading volume plays an important role as a key indicator in technical analysis, where high volume reflects strong liquidity and investor interest, while low volume indicates limited market activity. Overall, the findings suggest that fundamental and technical factors have a complementary influence in determining stock price movements. Therefore, investors are advised to integrate both approaches in making investment decisions in order to achieve optimal returns while minimizing risk. This study is expected to contribute to the development of capital market research and serve as a reference for investors and academics.

Although MSMEs are crucial to the economy, the sustainability of non-franchise micro-enterprises is often hampered by suboptimal financial governance. Low utilization of financial information, lack of separation between personal and business finances, and unstructured cash flow management are challenges that can affect long-term business sustainability. This quantitative study aims to evaluate the impact of financial record keeping, capital planning, and cash cycle management on the sustainability of non-franchise micro-enterprises in Mekargalih Village, Garut Regency. Using a survey method and saturated sampling technique, data from 70 business owners were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that financial record keeping does not have a significant impact on business sustainability, indicating that recording activities are still administrative in nature and have not been optimally utilized as a basis for business decision-making. Conversely, capital planning and cash cycle management have been shown to have a positive and significant impact on business sustainability. Business owners who are able to plan capital needs and maintain smooth cash flow tend to be more able to maintain the stability of their business operations. Simultaneously, these three variables contribute 45.2% to business sustainability. This finding confirms that the ability to allocate capital andKeywords: business continuity; financial records; capital planning; cash cycle; micro-enterprises.

The banking sector faces dual challenges from economic turbulence and the implementation of expected credit loss accounting standards. An empirical anomaly has emerged where large-scale banks remain aggressive in distributing dividends despite soaring provisioning burdens, while medium-scale banks tend to retain earnings. This research aims to analyze the effect of capital buffer and firm size on dividend distribution decisions, while examining the ability of allowance for impairment losses to moderate these interactions. Utilizing a causal explanatory panel data design, this study observed 15 banking entities on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2024. Data analysis was conducted using the Tobit regression model to accommodate dividend data characteristics left-censored at zero. Results prove that the capital buffer has no significant effect on dividend decisions, confirming the conservative posture of banks in prioritizing capital retention as a risk cushion. Conversely, firm size significantly determines profit distribution policy positively. In the moderation test, allowance for impairment losses does not moderate the capital buffer-dividend relationship but significantly moderates and amplifies the positive effect of firm size on dividend decisions. These findings imply a strategic resilience signaling maneuver, where large banks respond to high provisioning by expanding cash distribution to prove fundamental robustness to the market. Practically, this study recommends investors prioritize large-scale banks for stable returns and provides insights for regulators regarding the urgency of more adaptive regulatory adjustments.

Akuntansi Pajak dan Kebijakan Ekonomi Digital 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to examine the effect of working capital efficiency and leverage on profitability and its implications for firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2025 period. The post-COVID-19 pandemic condition has increased operational risks for manufacturing companies due to fluctuations in interest rates, exchange rates, cash management, inventories, and receivables. Therefore, companies are required to implement more effective financial strategies to maintain competitiveness. Profitability is positioned as an intervening variable because previous studies showed inconsistent results regarding the relationship between working capital efficiency, leverage, profitability, and firm value. This research uses a quantitative approach with path analysis to examine direct and indirect relationships among variables. The population consists of all manufacturing companies listed on the IDX, while the sample includes 45 companies selected from 270 firms using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, such as consistent listing and financial performance. The results indicate that working capital efficiency has a significant positive effect on profitability, leverage has a significant negative effect on profitability, profitability significantly increases firm value, and profitability fully mediates the effect of working capital efficiency and leverage on firm value. These findings provide theoretical and practical implications for managers and investors in financial decision-making.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Regional Original Revenue (PAD), General Allocation Fund (DAU), and Special Allocation Fund (DAK) on Capital Expenditure, with Budget Surplus (SiLPA) as a moderating variable in district and city governments across Banten Province for the 2020–2024 period. The background of this research is driven by the high regional dependence on central government transfer funds and the suboptimal allocation of capital expenditure as a key indicator of regional development. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from Local Government Budget Realization Reports (LRA), analyzed through Multiple Linear Regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using statistical software. The results demonstrate that PAD has a significant positive effect on capital expenditure, whereas DAU and DAK do not show any significant influence. Furthermore, the interaction test reveals that SiLPA is unable to moderate the relationship between PAD, DAU, or DAK and capital expenditure. These findings indicate that regional fiscal independence, through the optimization of PAD, serves as the primary determinant for capital investment. The implications of this study suggest that local governments should further optimize local revenue potential to reduce dependency on transfer funds and improve budget management efficiency to support sustainable regional development.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to determine the effect of tax planning and capital structure on firm value, with firm size as a moderator. The population in this study is all non-cyclical consumer companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2024 period. The type of research used in this study is quantitative associative with secondary data. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Based on this technique, 24 companies were obtained that met certain criteria. The panel data regression technique used in this study is the Random Effect Model. Testing of panel data regression and moderation regression uses the E=views 13 application. The results of this study indicate that tax planning partially has no effect on firm value, while capital structure does affect firm value. The results simultaneously show that tax planning and capital structure affect firm value. The results of this study also indicate that firm size weakens the relationship between tax planning and firm value, and firm size is also unable to moderate or weaken the relationship between capital structure and firm value.

This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability and capital structure on firm value, taking into account the role of financial condition as a mediating variable and corporate governance as a moderating variable. The main variables used include profitability (ROA), capital structure (DER), financial condition (Altman Z-score), firm value (Tobin’s Q/PBV), and independent commissioners as a moderating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data analyzed via regression models, moderation tests, and the Sobel mediation test. The study was conducted on 45 companies from the property and real estate sectors that met the sample criteria, covering the period from 2019 to 2024. The results indicate that profitability does not significantly affect financial condition or firm value. Conversely, capital structure has a significant negative effect on financial condition but a significant positive effect on firm value. Furthermore, independent commissioners were found to mitigate the negative impact of capital structure on financial health. This study contributes by integrating mediation and moderation roles into a single model, and demonstrates that the relationship between financial variables and firm value is complex and contextual. These findings have implications for management and investors in understanding the importance of managing capital structure and financial health, and reinforce the role of corporate governance in risk management.

Amid intense market competition, the profitability of manufacturing companies is not solely determined by sales volume but is highly dependent on the precision of financial management, particularly in managing the working capital cycle and operating cash flow circulation. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between Working Capital Turnover (X1) and Operating Cash Flow (X2) on Profitability (Y) in consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2024 period. Using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis, this study processes 77 observations that have passed purposive sampling and outlier testing. The partial test results reveal contrasting findings: Working Capital Turnover (X1) does not have a significant effect on profitability, while Operating Cash Flow (X2) is proven to be a strong positive determinant. However, simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence on the financial performance of companies (Fhitung 24,008 > Ftabel 3,08), with operating cash flow acting as the dominant driving factor of profit. The implications of these findings emphasize that to maintain profit stability, management should prioritize the availability of cash generated from core operations, while investors should be more attentive to cash flow trends as an indicator of fundamental financial health before making investment decisions.
