General elections constitute a fundamental pillar of Indonesia’s democratic system, functioning as a mechanism for the exercise of popular sovereignty and the protection of citizens’ voting rights. During the 2024 Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) election in Tarakan City, the Badan Pengawas Pemilu Kota Tarakan recorded twelve reports of alleged administrative violations throughout the electoral stages, including during the national vote recapitulation process. Of these reports, three allegations were proven, involving violations related to the Additional Voter List, the Special Voter List, and the eligibility requirements of candidates running for the Tarakan City DPRD in 2024. Essentially, election law enforcement serves as a safeguard to ensure fairness, legal certainty, and the protection of citizens’ constitutional right to vote. This study aims to examine the implementation of legal enforcement mechanisms against administrative violations in the 2024 Tarakan City DPRD election. A socio-legal research approach was employed to analyze both normative regulations and their practical application. Referring to Peraturan Bawaslu Nomor 8 Tahun 2022 concerning the Settlement of Administrative Violations of General Elections, the findings indicate that the Tarakan City Bawaslu holds authority in adjudicating and imposing sanctions on proven violations. As a result, one candidate, Erick Hendrawan Septian Putra, was disqualified from Electoral District 1. Furthermore, sanctions were imposed on the chairpersons and members of Polling Station 88 in Karang Anyar and Polling Station 2 in Pamusian for failing to carry out their duties as voting organizing groups in the election and subsequent processes.

Political participation is an important aspect in a democratic state structure, as well as a characteristic feature of political modernization. Political participation influences the legitimacy of society regarding the running of a government. One way of implementing political participation is through General Elections (Pemilu). The aim of this research is to determine the influence of presidential candidate debate broadcasts on multi-platform broadcast media on the political participation of FISIP UMJ student class of 2020. This research has an independent variable, namely presidential candidate debate broadcasts with the dimensions of frequency, attention and duration, and has a dependent variable, namely providing voting rights in elections, lobbying with officials, becoming a member of a political party. This research method uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires online to respondents via Google Form which aims to collect data from a sample of 2020 FISIP UMJ students who actively watch presidential candidate debates and know about political participation, with a total of 66 respondents selected. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire using a Likert Scale. The results of this research show that the presidential debate broadcast has an influence on political participation, which has a value of 0.736 or 73.6%, which means that the presidential debate broadcast influences political participation by 73.6% and the rest is influenced by other factors.

The Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) is a rehabilitative mechanism, but it is susceptible to bad faith abuse. This case study examines Homologation Decision No. 62/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN Niaga Sby, where judges ratified a composition plan creating a "Previous Trade Creditors" category. This clause, targeting unregistered creditors, effectively resulted in a 95% debt write-off, injuring the Principle of Justice. This research aims to analyze the judges' legal considerations in ratifying this clause and examines their failure to apply material judicial obligations regarding the debtor's bad faith. This research utilizes a normative juridical method with a statute and case study approach. The analysis is qualitative, examining the decision and relevant legislation, supplemented by an interview with a practicing Commercial Court judge. The primary finding is that the judges' considerations were overly positivistic, focusing only on the formal voting quorum (Article 281, UU KPKPU). They failed to execute their imperative duty under Article 285(2)(c) to reject a plan achieved via "dishonest means". The 95% write-off is prima facie bad faith and is punitive, not rehabilitative. The judges misinterpreted the Publicity Principle; non-registration should only cause the loss of voting rights (procedural), not the loss of claim rights (substantive). This failure of material judicial review legitimized the abuse of the PKPU institution.

This research is entitled "Socialization of the General Election Commission in Increasing Voter Participation in the 2024 Regent and Deputy Regent Election of Ciamis Regency (Case Study in Ciamis District)". The focus of this research is to determine how the implementation of socialization carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Ciamis Regency in an effort to increase public participation in the 2024 Regent and Deputy Regent Election, especially in the Ciamis District area. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with related parties, direct observation of socialization activities, and collection of supporting documentation. The data obtained are analyzed qualitatively through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Ciamis Regency KPU carried out socialization by referring to the Theory of Three Elements of Socialization proposed by Haryanto (2018) in the book Political Socialization: An Initial Understanding. The three elements include: Socialization Agents, namely parties who play a role in conveying information, such as KPU officers, District Election Committees (PPK), and community leaders, Socialization Materials, including information regarding election stages, voting procedures, the importance of voting rights, and the role of the community in maintaining democracy, Socialization Methods, which are carried out through face-to-face meetings, leaflet distribution, banner installation, social media, and community-based activities. Although socialization activities have been carried out in a planned manner and involved various media, research results indicate that their implementation has not been optimal. Some obstacles found include limited reach to all levels of society, minimal participation in socialization activities, and a lack of innovation in information delivery methods. In conclusion, the socialization carried out by the Ciamis Regency KPU for the 2024 Regent and Deputy Regent Election has been running but needs to be increased in intensity, creativity, and equal distribution of targets so that voter participation can be maximized.

This study examines the legal protections and enforcement mechanisms against securities dilution in technology‐sector issuers adopting multiple voting rights stock classifications following an initial public offering (IPO) under Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 22/POJK.04/2021. It addresses two core issues: the adequacy of minority shareholder safeguards embedded within the regulatory framework and the nature and extent of share dilution experienced by existing investors in dual‐class structures. Employing a normative legal research design with a doctrinal approach, the analysis draws on primary sources including UU No. 40/2007, UU No. 4/2023, POJK 22/POJK.04/2021, issuer prospectuses, and PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia’s 2022–2024 annual reports complemented by secondary literature and tertiary legal references. Findings reveal that POJK 22/POJK.04/2021 integrates quantitative limits (a 90 percent cap on aggregate superior voting rights), procedural safeguards (minimum 5 percent ordinary‐shareholder quorum and independent renewal approval), temporal constraints (10‐year sunset clause), and one‐share‐one‐vote requirements for critical corporate actions, alongside a novel graduated voting ratio system. The GoTo case study underscores persistent misalignment between cash‐flow and voting rights, marked by significant share price volatility and reliance on share buybacks rather than dilutive issuances. While the regulatory framework is comprehensive, its efficacy is contingent on robust enforcement, transparency of indirect ownership, and institutional maturity. Empirical evaluation of post‐IPO dilution events, minority litigation outcomes, and enforcement actions is recommended to assess real‐world impacts.

The purpose of this study is to analyze efforts and describe factors that influence the right to vote and obtain accessibility as political rights for people with disabilities by the Karanganyar Regency KPUD in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election in Jatipuro District. This study is a qualitative study with a case study approach regarding the phenomenon of low voter turnout for people with disabilities in Jatipuro District. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and supporting documents. The results of this study are efforts to provide voting rights and obtain accessibility for voters with disabilities are carried out by registering as voters, conducting socialization for voters with disabilities, conducting technical guidance for Pantarlih and KPPS, and realizing accessibility through mobile ballot box services. However, these efforts have not been maximized because there are no rules that serve as guidelines in determining the ability to vote, there are limitations in time, budget, and personnel in socialization, the workload of KPPS is quite heavy in a short working time causing psychological pressure that has an impact on fatigue and lack of focus, and the geographical conditions of Jatipuro District which cause several TPSs to not yet be accessible to voters with disabilities. The community as voters has a very important role because it is one of the factors that determine the success or failure of organizing elections. The purpose of this research is used as information on the role of election organizers, in this case the District Election Committee (PPK) at the Sumbermanjing Wetan District Level, Malang Regency in its efforts to increase community participation and as knowledge about general elections to be used as an evaluation in organizing future elections. This research uses phenomenological qualitative research methods through in-depth source interviews and observation notes to election organizers, namely members of the District Election Committee (PPK) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency. PPK in socialization activities to the community cooperates with the District Election Supervisory Committee (Panwascam) in supervision and socialization, government agencies, government institutions and local village community organizations in disseminating socialization to the community because it is able to reach all communities that have limited accessibility. The declining level of community participation needs to be reviewed so that people who abstain from voting or who do not use their voting rights can actively participate in realizing democracy. In addition, a wise evaluation of the regulations, technical implementation, accuracy of voter data, neutrality and integrity of the electoral process is needed.

This study aims to conduct an analysis of the factors that form the basis for all Indonesian people who have just participated in the general election in Leuwiliang District in 2024. A total of 10,344 people in Leuwiliang District are people who have just held general elections and have used their voting rights for the first time in 2024 from a total of 11,959 people on the Permanent Voters List (DPT). Based on these data, there are still 1,615 people who are voting for the first time in Leuwiliang District who did not come to the Polling Station (TPS) to exercise their right to vote, which is certainly influenced by several factors or certain reasons, such as not knowing the candidates who will be elected in executive and legislative positions and the entire vision and mission of each candidate. The method in this study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques, namely interviews and document studies. The results of this study are that 64% of new voters who came to the polling stations to 'vote' chose based on the social approach model and 35% based on the rational approach model.

Considering the importance of the involvement of the younger generation in the democratic process, the KPU launched the "Goes To Campus, School and Islamic Boarding School" program as an initiative to bring young voters closer to the election process. Through this program, the KPU carries out outreach in various educational institutions, including campuses, schools and Islamic boarding schools, with the aim of providing a better understanding of voting rights, the importance of participation, and voting mechanisms. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research results show that this program has succeeded in increasing GEN-Z voters' awareness and interest in participating in the election, although there are still challenges in terms of access to information and understanding of the election process. It is hoped that this article will provide insight for the KPU and other stakeholders in designing more effective strategies to involve the younger generation in democracy.

Citizenship is a legal status that gives a person rights and responsibilities as a citizen. Many laws in Indonesia regulate political rights, including the right to vote. One of them is Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. Within Indonesia's democratic framework, the right to vote is an important expression of popular sovereignty, allowing voters to actively elect their leaders at both the legislative and executive levels. Fulfilling the right to vote cannot be separated from various technological, political and social difficulties that may have an impact on democracy in Indonesia. Over the last five years, several dynamics have emerged in the enforcement of voting rights regulations, including changes to regulations, election implementation, and the application of digital technology to increase election transparency and accountability. Despite the implementation of legal and technological reforms, there are still challenges in verifying permanent voter lists, especially for vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities and those living in remote locations or abroad, which continues to hinder efforts to tackle disinformation and hoaxes on social media. This research examines the political rights of Indonesian individuals, especially regarding their right to vote in general elections as regulated by law. The right to vote is one manifestation of political participation that is recognized internationally and guaranteed in various national legal instruments.

The implementation of democracy at the village level can be proof that political development in Indonesia has developed rapidly by involving local communities, so that they are able to carry out the functions of regional government power in order to achieve the goal of advancing and prospering people's lives. Non-voting behavior are a group of people who are unwilling and negligent in giving their voting rights in elections for various reasons, whether in legislative elections, regional elections, presidential elections or village head elections. Non-voting behavior are also called blanks or abstentions in elections that are limited to an organization, company or institution. Voter absence at an election is closely related to voter dissatisfaction or satisfaction. In Kote Village, non-voting behavior has a large number compared to other villages in Singkep Pesisir District. The existence of this phenomenon certainly has a cause for non-voting behavior by the Kote Village Community. The aim of this research is to determine the factors causing non-voting behavior in Kote Village, Lingga Regency and the main factors causing non-voting behavior in Kote Village, Lingga Regency. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out through interviews with several informants who were related to the research. The results of the research show that the non-voting behavior carried out by the people of Kote Village is caused by several things, namely the attitude of the community who are less concerned about the ongoing Village Head Election which is based on the lack of influence of the Village Head Election on the community. Some communities find it difficult to contribute to village policy making and do not understand the ongoing village election system. Apart from that, there are people who believe that the Village Head candidate they support will win or lose in the ongoing Village Head Election so they feel there is no need to come to vote. However, the reason why most people in Kote Village do not vote is because of work factors that cannot be left behind due to economic needs and educational factors, especially students who study outside the area and are unable to return to Kote Village to carry out the Village Head election.

Elections or general elections have an important role in determining the future of the nation by electing leaders and officials who are directly elected by the people and for the people. Democracy is the main factor in holding elections as people are free to choose according to their conscience without any coercion or threat. However, the process of implementing elections in Indonesia still experiences obstacles such as the white group (golput) who choose to give up their voting rights in determining the future of the nation. Therefore, we provide solutions and suggestions that can be used to reduce the percentage of the white group by means of election education, voting training, encouraging political parties to be more active, using the media to publish information about elections, election monitoring, research and opinion surveys as described in this research article that we wrote in the hope that it will create a movement to suppress white groups who throw away their voting rights. Then, in compiling this research article, we used an empirical juridical qualitative research method by raising two problem formulations that are problems in the current era. With the results of this research article, hopefully it can help you and can be a source of reference in preparing research that has the same aims and objectives.

Members of the TNI and POLRI as part of Indonesian citizens should have human rights, especially the political right to vote in elections. However, in reality, the right to vote for these two agencies is limited by the provisions in force in the legislation. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the provisions on the right to vote for members of the TNI and POLRI from a positive law and human rights perspective. This research uses normative juridical methods such as a conceptual approach, a state approach, a historical approach and an analytical approach. Based on the research results, there is a decline in democracy looking at the history of elections in 3 periods, namely the old order, the new order and the reform era. Apart from that, there is a lack of synchronization between positive legal provisions and each other which regulate human rights and political rights of Indonesian citizens

This study aims to determine the state of political literacy of the Keboansikepl community, as well as to understand the role of the KPU in the context of the state of political literacy. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, to reveal phenomena related to political literacy based on the results of research documents conducted by the Sidoarjo Regency KPU. as well as information from informants from the KPU of East Java Province. The results of the study conclude that the state of political literacy in the Keboansikep community is still very limited only to literacy related to the electoral process and does not reflect education that is oriented towards strengthening the system of understanding and actualizing the rights and obligations of citizens. The new political education is carried out by the KPU through socialization activities, technical guidance (technical guidance) and voter education which it will carry out in the context of the agenda for the stages of the election that will be held as election organizers. The state does not yet have an educational program to improve systemic and sustainable political literacy. The disappointment of the voting community towards the attitude and performance of the leaders and representatives of the people from the general election results in an anomalous phenomenon where the public is known to have knowledge and understanding of politics but it is not consistent with their attitudes and behavior. In political education, the KPU plays a role in conveying information about the election events it holds and providing political education to the public which is only limited to the electoral context for the sake of increasing the percentage of voters turned out and decreasing the percentage of invalid votes

Ownership of company shares entitles shareholders to do a number of things, such as attending and voting at GMS, receiving dividend payments and liquidation results; as well as. other rights pathways according to law. So that the ownership of the rights to shares is important to be able to have these rights, of course there must be proof of ownership of the rights to these shares. And if at any time the shares owned want to be sold or or transferred to the hands, a deed of transfer of rights over shares is required to be carried out with a deed of transfer rights. The deed of transfer of rights can be made in the form of a notarized deed or private deed. The deed of transfer of rights or compensation is submitted in writing to the Company. Which then records the transfer by the director.
