Depression is one of the mental health problems that often arise in patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and chronic kidney failure. This condition not only impacts the patient's quality of life, but also affects the treatment process and the burden on the family. However, mental health literacy in the community is still low, so targeted preventive and curative efforts are needed. The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve people's mental health through educational interventions with scientific booklet media that are easy to understand and apply. The activity method is carried out in a participatory manner, including the preparation stage, socialization, educational implementation, and evaluation. Education is provided to the community with a focus on preventing depression through a healthy lifestyle, stress management skills, and early intervention efforts by seeking professional support. Evaluation is carried out through pre-post tests, observations, and group discussions. The results of the activity showed an increase in public knowledge about depression, a change in attitudes to be more open in expressing feelings, as well as practical skills in relaxation, maintaining sleep patterns, and building social support. Participants also better understand the importance of seeking professional help when depressive symptoms are getting worse. The conclusion of this PKM is that the scientific booklet has proven to be effective as a preventive and curative educational intervention medium, and can be an innovative strategy in improving the mental health of people affected by chronic diseases.

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan meningkatkan pendapatan petani sawit rakyat selama masa replanting dengan metode tumpang sari, untuk mengoptimalkan lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini menggunakan penyuluhan, diskusi, dan kunjungan ke kelompok tani di Desa Jaharun, Kecamatan Galang, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Program ini mengedukasi petani mengenai tanaman hortikultura, rempah, dan tanaman bernilai ekonomis lain yang dapat ditanam di sela kelapa sawit. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tumpang sari memberikan pendapatan tambahan. Petani memilih ubi kayu dan pisang barangan karena cocok dengan kondisi agroklimat lokal dan memiliki pasar yang stabil. Simpulan pengabdian ini meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan petani dalam memanfaatkan lahan secara produktif dan berkelanjutan. Kontribusi keilmuan kegiatan ini adalah membuktikan efektivitas tumpang sari dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan lokal dan kesejahteraan petani selama replanting kelapa sawit.

The purpose of this PKM is to carry out training on processing cassava leaves into cassava leaf grilled satay for students of the Management study program, Faculty of Economics so that students can learn that cassava leaves can be used as creative processed food products, namely satay. Community service activities were carried out in room A5 of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Lakidende University. The time of the activity was Monday, March 9, 2024. The community service activities carried out by students of the Management Study Program went well, participants were enthusiastic in participating in the training activities. The evaluation results were 85% or 17 student participants in making cassava leaf grilled satay, the fruit was successful and did not experience difficulties and 15% or 3 student participants were still less successful in making satay, this was because the measurements for making cassava leaf satay did not match the instructions of the supervising lecturer. This community service activity received a positive response from the participants, of course this can be followed up at a later time, with other products such as processing crackers, noodles, and sticks from cassava leaves.

The huge availability of cassava raw materials can be utilized as a substitute or substitute for wheat, so breakthrough technology is needed to be able to modify cassava by increasing its usability so that it is suitable as a substitute for wheat flour in the processing of food products, such as cookies, bread, and noodles (Zulaidah, 2011). Another effort that can be made is to develop cassava flour derivative products, namely mocaf flour (Modified Cassava Fluor). Since many housewives produce cakes in Kebontemu village, the village is known as "Kampung Kue" (Kebontemu, 2023). However, very few people know about mocaf flour. Whereas mocaf is an alternative to wheat flour which is cheaper but has a higher nutritional value and is healthier. it is hoped that this training can be an important milestone in encouraging economic growth, especially the Kebon Temu Village Community, Peterongan Jombang. the participants of this training were attended by 20 mothers who often make processed wet cake snacks made from wheat flour. the following (1) continue training in making various cakes made from local cassava on a regular basis, (2) update information about business phenomena, especially in the digital era while still paying attention to aspects of improving communication skills:Training as a local cassava-based cake maker can help participants improve their communication skills. This includes the ability to package messages in a way that is engaging, compelling and relevant for their target audience. Strong communication skills are essential in today's business world, where digital Mocaf Flour-based Assorted Wet Cookies are becoming increasingly dominant.

Anxiety is a normal emotion that everyone has. Anxiety appears as a brain response to stress that warns of potential danger. Problems arise if the anxiety occurs continuously and even interferes with life. Anxiety like this can have a bad impact on body health and this is what is called an anxiety disorder. To reduce this anxiety problem, deep breathing relaxation and cognitive therapy can be done. The aim of community service is to find out about the application of the Si Mas Latif application (Overcoming Anxiety with Relaxation and Cognitive Therapy), in people who experience psychosocial anxiety problems at the Kertasemaya Health Center, Indramayu Regency.The method used is to create an application that can be used as a guide in overcoming anxiety using deep breathing therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy and outreach to program holders and the community using health services.Result: availability of the Si Mas Latif application (Overcoming Anxiety with Relaxation and Cognitive Therapy) and this application has been in HKI and socialization has been carried out to the Kertasemaya Community Health Center program holders.

Organic waste is waste consisting of biological elements that have a high level of bacterial reproduction so that it needs to be processed into materials that are useful for plants. Therefore organic waste which is a container as a place for the growth of bacteria and microorganisms, organic waste which can be used as liquid organic fertilizer. Organic fertilizers can be made by a fermentation process that uses a mixture of tape yeast starter and Em-4 as a bioactivator. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in phosphorus content in liquid organic fertilizers made from waste (Cassava Leaves, Mango Fruit and Spinach) using EM-4 bioactivators for Plants and Tape Yeast. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The parameter to be tested in this study is the phosphorus content test. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No.28/SNI/Permentan/OT.140/2/2009 which states that the standard for liquid organic fertilizer with a minimum pH of 6.8 is a maximum of 7.49 and phosphorus (p2o2) is a minimum of 0.10%.

Tiwul instan adalah makanan pokok tradisional yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Jawa terutama di daerah pedesaan dan pengunungan terpencil. Kandungan protein pada ubi kayu (singkong) sebesar 1,36 g/100g. Jagung talango memiliki kandungan protein 11,2%. Proses pengeringan dapat memperpanjang umur simpan produk tiwul instan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh proporsi tepung mocaf dan tepung jagung talango serta pengaruh lama pengeringan terhadap nilai rendemen, kapasitas penyerapan air, jumlah protein, karakteristik sensoris, dan menentukan formulasi terbaik produk tiwul instan menurut penilaian konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 6 perlakuan dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu lama pengeringan dan faktor yang kedua adalah formulasi tepung mocaf dan tepung jagung talango. Hasil uji kandungan protein tertinggi diperoleh pada tiwul instan dari perlakuan dari perbandingan tepung mocaf 70% dan tepung jagung talango 30% dengan lama pengeringan 6 jam yaitu sebesar 4,180%. Formulasi terbaik produk tiwul instan menurut penilaian konsumen yaitu pada perbandingan tepung mocaf 70% dan tepung jagung talango 30% dengan lama pengeringan 4 jam. Tiwul instan berbahan baku mocaf dan jagung malango berpotensi menjadi makanan bergizi yang tinggi protein.

Secara farmakologi daun singkong mempunyai aktivitas sebagai antiinflamasi, antibakteri, antioksidan. Kandungan yang terdapat dalam daun singkong yaitu air, fosfor, karbohidrat, kalsium, vitamin c, protein, lemak, vitamin B1, zat besi, flavanoid, saponin, tanin dan triterpenoid. Daun singkong dipercaya memiliki berbagai manfaat untuk pengobatan penyakit seperti dapat mengobati rematik, asam urat, anemia, konstipasi, serta untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dan dapat pula mengatasi masalah diare. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumya oleh (Mutia dkk,.2017) mengemukakan bahwa daun singkong (Manihot esculenta Cranz) memiliki kandungan flavonoid,saponin dan tanin yang digunakan sebagai antibakteri. Salah satunya bakteri penyebab diare yaitu Escherisia Coli.Adanya efek anti bakteri pada daun ubi kayu dikarenakan mengandung mengandung senyawa antibakteri yaitu saponin, tannin dan flavonoid. Bakteri Escherisia Coli merupakan mikroorganisme patogen yang sering menginfeksi manusia. Bakteri ini merupakan salah satu yang menyebabkan terjadinya infeksi saluran kemih, meningitis, pneumonia,diare dan infeksi lainnya. Penyebaran bakteri Escherchia Colli dapat melalui kegiatan tangan ke mulut atau dengan cara pemindahan pasif melalui perantara makanan maupun minuman. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun ubi kayu dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri gram positif dan gram negatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efek antibakteri ekstrak daun ubi kayu terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli. Ekstrak ubi kayu dibuat dalam tiga konsentrasi (20%, 40%, 60%) yang diuji daya hambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan bakteri Escherichia coli yang dibiakkan dengan media EMBA (Eosin Meythelen Blue Agar) dengan metode paper disk. Didapatkan adanya zona bening disekitar paperdisk yang mengandung ektrak daun ubi kayu. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah ekstrak ubi kayu (Manihot esculenta Crans) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri Eschericia coli. Konsentrasi paling efektif dalam menghambat bakteri adalah 60%.

Patients who are going for sectio caesarea, face uncomfortable feelings including anxiety, this is related to concerns about the threat to their lives, therefore, family support is very important to reduce anxiety, because it can increase the spirit of life and reduce patient anxiety and strengthen commitment to undergoing treatment. The purpose of the study was to understand the relationship between family support and anxiety levels of preoperative sectio caesarea patients at the MA Sentot Patrol Hospital, Indramayu. This study uses a quantitative research design with non-experimental methods and a descriptive approach. The population in this study were all patients who underwent sectio caesarea surgery as many as 42 patients and the sample used a total sampling technique, where the entire population was taken as a sample. The results of the study: 59.5% of families supported preoperative sectio caesarea patients, 31% of preoperative sectio caesarea patients experienced mild anxiety and 23.8% experienced severe anxiety, based on the chi square statistical test obtained p value 0.000 < (0.05) . Conclusion: there is a relationship between family support and anxiety levels of preoperative sectio caesarea patients at the MA Sentot Patrol Hospital, Indramayu Regency. Suggestion: for nurses, considering that there is a relationship between family support and the patient's level of anxiety, they should provide nursing interventions, especially for preoperative sectio caesarea patients, involving the family, so that the impact of the patient is calm in facing the sectio caesarea operation.

Pati sagu diekstrak dari batang pohon sagu (Metroxylon sagu), yang banyak ditemukan di kawasan AsiaTenggara. Dibandingkan dengan beras, produk pangan berbasis sagu lebih sedikit ditemukan di pasaranIndonesia. Banyak aplikasi yang menggunakan pati melibatkan pemanasannya di dalam air. Transisi termalyang dialami pati dan interaksi dengan air pada tingkat granula dan makromolekul membedakan sifatsifatpati dan dapat menentukan potensinya sebagai bahan penyusun makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mendapatkan pemahaman tentang sifat pasta dan termal serta daya pembengkakan pati sagu yangdibandingkan dengan dua pati lainnya yang banyak diproses di Asia Tenggara, yaitu beras dan ubi kayu(tapioka). Sifat-sifat pati yang diuji termasuk daya pembengkakan, sifat pasta menggunakan RVA dan sifattermal menggunakan DSC. Pati ubi kayu memiliki daya pembengkakan tertinggi (34,6 g/g) yang tidakberbeda nyata dengan pati sagu (29,0 g/g). Dalam hal sifat pasta, pati sagu memiliki nilai viskositas terendahuntuk viskositas puncak, panas, dan viskositas akhir sementara suhu pasting tertinggi. Suhu gelatinisasi dannilai entalpi pati sagu merupakan yang tertinggi dan pati beras terendah. Semua sampel yang dijalankanpada DSC disimpan pada suhu 4°C untuk mengukur rekristalisasi/retrogradasi. Pati sagu menunjukkan reorderingamilopektin yang signifikan, sementara hanya sedikit untuk pati ubi kayu. Hanya pati beras yangmenunjukkan adanya kompleks amilosa-lipid.Kata kunci: pati sagu, daya pembengkakan, sifat pasta, sifat termal
