Braking performance is an important aspect of motorcycle safety because it relates to the vehicle’s ability to reduce speed and stop properly. In a hydraulic disc brake system, braking is influenced by mechanical and hydraulic factors, especially disc brake diameter and master cylinder pressure. Disc brake diameter determines the effective braking radius, while master cylinder pressure generates hydraulic pressure that is transmitted to the caliper. This study aims to analyze the effect of disc brake diameter and master cylinder pressure variations on the braking distance and braking time of a 110 cc motorcycle. This research used a quantitative experimental method with a Honda Revo Injection 110 cc motorcycle as the test object. The disc brake diameter variations were 190 mm, 220 mm, and 260 mm, while the master cylinder pressures were 2 bar, 4 bar, and 6 bar. Each treatment combination was tested three times at an initial speed of 40 km/h on a dry and flat asphalt road. Braking distance was obtained from front wheel rotation data recorded by a magnetic digital counter, while braking time was determined from video recordings. The data were analyzed using Two-Way ANOVA and response optimization. The results showed that increasing disc brake diameter and master cylinder pressure reduced braking distance and braking time. The best combination was obtained at a 260 mm disc brake diameter and 6 bar master cylinder pressure, producing a braking distance of 12.8 m and a braking time of 2.3 s.

Diesel engines are widely used in the transportation and industrial sectors due to their high thermal efficiency and good operational durability. However, increased fuel consumption due to inefficiency of the injection system remains a common problem. Injector characteristics, particularly nozzle diameter and injection pressure, are important factors that affect the quality of fuel atomization, air-fuel mixing, and combustion efficiency. An inappropriate combination of parameters can cause suboptimal combustion and increase fuel consumption. This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in nozzle diameter and injection pressure on fuel consumption efficiency in diesel engines. The method used is an experiment with variations in nozzle diameter of 0.150 mm, 0.152 mm, and 0.154 mm and injection pressures of 400 bar, 420 bar, and 440 bar. Tests were conducted at engine speeds of 500 rpm, 1000 rpm, and 1500 rpm with a fuel consumption measurement time of one minute for each parameter combination. Fuel consumption was measured using the volumetric method and analyzed through the fuel volumetric flow rate, fuel mass flow rate, Brake Power (BP), and Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC). The results showed that the combination of a nozzle diameter of 0.150 mm and an injection pressure of 400 bar produced the lowest BSFC value, thus providing the best fuel consumption efficiency. Meanwhile, the combination of a nozzle diameter of 0.152 mm and an injection pressure of 420 bar showed the closest condition to optimal because it was able to provide a balance between atomization quality and the amount of fuel injected, resulting in efficient and stable combustion. Thus, the efficiency of a diesel engine is influenced by the balance of nozzle size and injection pressure, not solely by the lowest fuel consumption.

Gestational hypertension is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality in Indonesia. Non-pharmacological interventions such as lavender aromatherapy have gained attention as complementary therapies due to their natural properties and minimal side effects. This study aims to evaluate the effect of lavender aromatherapy on blood pressure among pregnant women with gestational hypertension. The research employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 15 participants meeting the inclusion criteria received an intervention consisting of lavender aromatherapy inhalation for 10–15 minutes. The results showed a decrease in mean systolic blood pressure from 141.53 mmHg before the intervention to 139.27 mmHg after the intervention. However, the mean diastolic blood pressure slightly increased from 90.20 mmHg to 90.27 mmHg. The reduction in systolic pressure indicates a potential relaxation effect of lavender, likely mediated through parasympathetic nervous system stimulation. Although the change in diastolic pressure was minimal and not clinically significant, these findings support the use of lavender aromatherapy as a supportive approach in managing blood pressure in pregnant women with gestational hypertension. This complementary therapy is expected to enhance maternal healthcare, particularly in improving comfort and reducing stress during pregnancy.

Hypertension has become a chronic disease known as the silent killer because it often does not show symptoms but can cause serious complications such as stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. According to WHO, hypertension is one of the leading causes of death worldwide and its prevalence continues to rise. Sleep disturbances can increase sympathetic nervous system activity and stress hormones, which impact blood pressure elevation. Depression is characterized by prolonged feelings of sadness, loss of interest, and decreased energy. Physiologically, depression can increase stress hormones and cause autonomic nervous system imbalance, leading to elevated blood pressure. To determine the relationship between sleep pattern disturbances and depression levels with blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the outpatient department of RS Permata Medika Semarang. Quantitative research with a correlational design using a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling with a sample size of 79 respondents. The instruments used are the PSQI questionnaire for sleep pattern disturbances and the DASS-42 for depression levels. Ethics test no 03/EC-LPPM/UWHS/II-2026. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank test. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between sleep pattern disturbances and blood pressure in hypertensive patients (p=0.000; rho=0.826). Respondents with poor sleep patterns mostly have high blood pressure, indicating a very strong and positive relationship, where the worse the sleep pattern, the more uncontrolled the blood pressure tends to be. Additionally, there is a significant relationship between the level of depression and blood pressure (p=0.000; rho=0.808). Respondents with severe and very severe depression mostly have high blood pressure, which means that the higher the level of depression, the more the blood pressure increases or becomes uncontrolled. There is a relationship between sleep pattern disturbances and depression levels with blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the outpatient department of Permata Medika Hospital Semarang.

Hypertension is a chronic health problem whose prevalence continues to increase and is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. In addition to pharmacological therapy, non-pharmacological interventions are needed to help control blood pressure safely and sustainably. One complementary therapy that has the potential to lower blood pressure is Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM), which works through relaxation mechanisms and modulation of the autonomic nervous system. This study aims to determine the effect of SSBM therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Camar Room of RSKD Dadi, South Sulawesi Province. The study used a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest–posttest design. A sample of 32 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique, divided into an intervention group and a control group. Data collection was carried out by measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after the intervention using a standard sphygmomanometer. The results showed a significant decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the group receiving SSBM therapy compared to the control group. Thus, SSBM therapy has a significant effect on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients and can be recommended as a complementary therapy in nursing care.

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of peer pressure as a factor that forms problematic behavior in adolescents. This study uses a literature review method with more than 19 relevant journals. The selected journals followed inclusion criteria that focused on adolescents, peer pressure, and problematic behaviors within a specific time frame. The results of the study showed that peer pressure contributes to problematic behaviors such as aggressive behavior and social violence (bullying, cyberbullying, aggressiveness, disruptive behavior), addictive and health-risking behaviors (smoking, alcohol consumption/drinking behavior), violations of academic/school norms (truancy, juvenile delinquency), online/sexual risky behavior (cybersex), and internal psychological problems (decreased self-confidence). The psychosocial dynamics found included the need for acceptance, group conformity, low self-control, and weak family support. These influences can be direct or indirect through the internalization of group values. These findings confirm that problematic behaviors are not formed singularly, but from complex interactions between individual factors and the social environment. Therefore, prevention efforts require a collaborative approach between families, schools, and the community.

Bullying in school environments is a crucial issue that causes physical and emotional harm to victims and perpetuates cycles of aggression, with peer pressure identified as one of the main predictors. This study aims to address gaps in the literature regarding the specific role of peer pressure in shaping bullying behavior in Indonesian schools through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, analyzing 21 research articles published between 2021 and 2026 from Google Scholar. The findings indicate that adolescents with high peer pressure are 3.48 times more likely to engage in bullying, and high peer conformity contributes to 44.4% of bullying cases. However, peer influence is dual-sided—positive interactions based on empathy and mutual respect can reduce bullying behavior. The impacts of bullying include depression, anxiety, and declining academic performance in victims, as well as legal issues and difficulties in interpersonal relationships in perpetrators. The study concludes that collaboration among various stakeholders is essential to manage peer group norms and dynamics as part of culturally contextual bullying prevention efforts in Indonesia.
