Hypertension is categorized as one of the most widespread chronic non-infectious conditions among the elderly and can heighten the risk of serious complications. A non-pharmacological strategy that may be implemented to manage hypertension is the administration of boiled moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), which are known among scientific communities for possessing antioxidant agents and potent bioactive molecules that function synergistically in maintaining cardiovascular stability and decreasing arterial pressure. This empirical study sought to examine how far the intake of boiled moringa leaves contributes to reducing blood pressure values in hypertensive older adults living within Meunasah Papeun Village, situated in Krueng Barona Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District. The statistical evaluation showed a significant p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a substantial effect under a quantitative quasi-experimental approach applying the One Group Pretest-Posttest model. The research sample included 20 participants chosen from a total population of 77 individuals through purposive sampling. The investigation took place from May 27 to June 25. Data were obtained using observation forms, standard operating procedures (SOP) for moringa leaf preparation, and manual sphygmomanometer readings. The findings revealed that prior to the application of treatment, the mean systolic blood pressure reached a level of 193.30 mmHg, whereas following the intervention it displayed a considerable decrease, it fell to 129.75 mmHg. The mean diastolic pressure also exhibited a decrease from 94.00 mmHg, confirming the notable influence of moringa leaf decoction in controlling hypertension. In summary, moringa leaf infusion proved effective in lowering blood pressure among elderly individuals suffering from hypertension. It is recommended that patients regularly consume boiled moringa leaves when experiencing increased blood pressure, that community health services provide education regarding non-pharmacological hypertension management through moringa leaf decoction, and that further research explore this topic with broader variables.

Background: There are still shortcomings in the implementation of a truly safe and optimal thoracic examination protocol for toddlers in certain hospital settings. Furthermore, data related to direct radiation dose measurements and evaluation of the effectiveness of thoracic examination techniques for toddlers specifically in the local context in Indonesia are very limited. Objective: To examine the thoracic examination procedure that can be performed with a high level of safety without compromising the quality of diagnostic results and to evaluate the radiation exposure dose and thoracic examination techniques in toddlers at Hospital. Methodology: This study used a mixed methods approach with a convergent parallel design. Quantitative data were obtained from radiation dose measurements and examination parameters, while qualitative data were collected through observation, interviews, and group discussions, then analyzed thematically to understand the factors that influence radiation dose in infant thoracic examinations. Results: Research on thoracic radiology examinations in toddlers at Heart and Vascular Hospital was conducted systematically and in accordance with established procedures. Some limitations emerged from limited radiation dose records and inconsistent use of protective shields. Efforts to reduce radiation exposure include optimizing examinations, proper collimation, selecting exposure parameters, and educating families and staff. Continuous training and strict implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) are essential to raise awareness of the ALARA principle. Internal policies and routine oversight are also needed to improve radiation dose monitoring, with the hope of improving the quality of radiology services and optimizing protection for toddler patients.

Iron deficiency anemia (ADB) is anemia that arises due to reduced iron supply for erythropoiesis, due to empty iron stores (depleted iron stores) which ultimately results in reduced hemoglobin formation. This study aims to determine the effect of giving blood supplement tablets on HB levels in female students suffering from anemia at SMAN 1 Tambakboyo, Tuban Regency. The research design used a pre-experiment using a one group pre test post test approach, with a total sampling technique on a population of 34 female students suffering from anemia in class X and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The instruments in this research were Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), hemoglobin level observation sheets and Easy Touch GCU brand hemoglobin measuring equipment. The results of the study showed that the average HB level before 10.17 g/dl and after 15.46 g/dl given blood supplement tablets was normal. The results of the Wilcoxon test obtained a significant value of p=0.000 (p<0.05), which means that there was a significant difference in the HB levels of class X female students before and after being given blood supplement tablets. Health workers, especially in school health offices, should provide blood supplement tablets at the right time so that female students can take the blood supplement tablets regularly and finish them.

Informed consent is a crucial component of medical records that ensures the legality and ethical compliance of medical procedures conducted on patients. At RSUP Surakarta, the completeness of informed consent documentation in the surgical ward has consistently failed to meet the national minimum service standard of 100%, with observed monthly completion rates ranging from 86% to 98% throughout 2024. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to the incomplete documentation of informed consent in the surgical ward. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, documentation review, and participatory methods including the USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) prioritization technique and brainstorming. The study involved four key informants: a medical services director, a surgeon, a surgical nurse, and a medical records officer. Findings indicate that the main contributing factors are the absence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for consent documentation, lack of training, insufficient internal and external motivation due to absence of rewards or enforcement measures, limited knowledge, and short tenure of some staff members. The USG analysis identified the absence of an SOP as the most critical issue. Consequently, the development and dissemination of an SOP, coupled with regular staff training, were recommended as corrective measures. This study underscores the importance of structural and motivational support in improving the completeness of informed consent documentation, which is vital for patient safety and institutional accountability.
