The aim of this research is to describe and determine the social values ​​contained in the short story collection Surat untuk Bapak by Nidhom Khoeron. This research uses two approaches, namely a qualitative descriptive approach and literary sociology. The data collection technique used in this research is listening and taking notes. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative. This research data presentation technique uses informal techniques. The results of the research show that there is social value in the short story collection Surat untuk Bapak by Nidhom Khoeron. There are three types of social values, namely compassion, responsibility and harmony of life. The first is the form of the Social Value of Love which includes Devotion, Help, Caring, Kinship and Loyalty. The two forms of Social Responsibility Values ​​include the values ​​of a sense of belonging, Discipline and Empathy. The three forms of social values ​​are harmony of life which include justice, tolerance and cooperation, democracy.

This research aims to describe the social values in the Novel Rain by Tere Liye with the main focus on the female character named Lail. The formulation of the problem in this research is what are the social values in the Novel Rain by Tere Liye. This research uses qualitative methods and descriptive research with a literary sociology approach. The data source for this research is the Novel Rain by Tere Liye. The data in this research was obtained from descriptions, sentences, dialogue excerpts. Based on the data findings, there are three aspects of social values, namely: 1) Love/affectionate values, 2) Responsibility/accountability, and 3) Harmony in Life/harmony of life. Researchers obtained the most data on the aspect of love/affection, the character Lail has the character of being patient, compassionate and caring towards others.

Empowering Early Childhood Communities through the Friendly Child House Program in Aenganyar Village, Giligenting Island, Sumenep. This program aims to provide special attention to early childhood and empower them through education, healthcare, social support, and parental empowerment. The program has a positive impact on improving the quality of life for children, developing skills, and promoting social values. Furthermore, it also builds strong relationships between children and the adults involved. The importance of empowering early childhood communities not only affects the present but also the future of children and society as a whole. Children are considered valuable assets to society and the nation, and ensuring they receive proper attention and support is a collective responsibility. The success of this program serves as an example for similar initiatives elsewhere and inspires further efforts in empowering early childhood.

Abstract This paper discusses the image of women in Air Djenar Maesa Ayu's short story. This short story has a background in social life that occurs in society. This short story raises the main topic of women's struggles in living their lives after being abandoned by men. Social injustice like this creates various impacts such as subordination. This research uses descriptive analysis method. This study began with data collection using the mode of listening and reading short stories as a whole and then continued with data analysis using feminist study theory. This study shows that the short story Air by Djenar Maesa Ayu is included in liberal feminism. The results and discussion of this research are compiled based on issues related to women and the perspective of the reality of the text in short stories. The results of this short story analysis are divided into 3 concepts, namely: the image of women from the physical aspect, the image of women from the psychological aspect, the image of women from the social aspect. The story of the problems experienced in this short story is told through the character Saya. Based on the data and results of the analysis, the researcher describes the image of women in Djenar Maesa Ayu's short story Air through the social conflicts she experiences. Researchers add moral and social values ​​in this study. Researchers teach readers to respect each other as human beings through research on the short story Air by Djenar Maesa Ayu. The Tedhak siten tradition is one of the typical traditions of the Javanese people. Tedhak siten is a series of traditions from the birth of a baby. An expression of gratitude for the birth, safety, and growth and development of babies is embodied in this tedhak siten tradition. The tedhak siten tradition is also carried out to get rid of convulsions in babies. There are many social and cultural values ​​in the tedhak siten tradition that can form the basis of human behavior and can be used as role models in everyday life. The subject of this research is the people of Kalangan Village, Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency. This is because the village is rich in culture and still preserves the tedhak siten tradition. This study discusses how the procession of the tedhak siten tradition and the cultural and social values ​​contained in a series of tedhak siten traditions is carried out by the people of Kalangan Village, Ngunut District. This study aims to find out about the tedhak siten procession in Kalangan Village and the meaning of its socio-cultural values. The method used in this journal research is descriptive qualitative research, where this research was conducted by interviews, field observations, and literature studies from various related journals. The tedhak siten procession in Kalangan Village includes, being ordered to step on the 7-colored jenang, climb the cane ladder, enter the chicken cage, choose a favorite object, grab coins or coins, bathe in flower water, and wear new clothes. Some of the values ​​contained in the tedhak siten tradition are self-confidence, generosity, always maintaining family honor, and diligent work.
