Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan demografi berupa jumlah penduduk yang besar dengan laju pertumbuhan yang terus meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2012, jumlah penduduk Indonesia mencapai sekitar 257 juta jiwa. Di sisi lain, penggunaan smartphone telah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan masyarakat, ditandai dengan peningkatan pengguna yang terus terjadi setiap tahun. Data dari Statista menunjukkan bahwa pada Oktober 2017, sekitar 75% pengguna smartphone di Indonesia menggunakan perangkat berbasis Android. Berdasarkan data integrasi Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) dengan KTP elektronik Kabupaten Tasikmalaya per Juni 2019, Kecamatan Cigalontang merupakan kecamatan dengan jumlah penduduk terbesar kedua setelah Karangnunggal, yaitu sebanyak 74.140 jiwa atau 4,14% dari total penduduk Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yang berjumlah 1.791.881 jiwa. Jumlah tersebut terdiri atas 37.998 laki-laki (4,17%) dan 36.142 perempuan (4,10%). Dalam program Keluarga Berencana (KB), metode kontrasepsi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah suntik 300 PUS sebesar 41,10% dan suntik 150 PUS sebesar 20,55%, dengan jumlah peserta aktif mencapai 506 akseptor atau sekitar 69% dari total 730 akseptor KB. Hasil Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bersama bidan dan akseptor KB menunjukkan masih sering terjadi keterlambatan maupun kelalaian dalam konsumsi pil KB serta jadwal kunjungan ulang suntik, sehingga diperlukan media atau sistem pengingat yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kepatuhan akseptor.  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai efektivitas aplikasi mobile “e-KABE” sebagai sarana pendukung pelayanan Keluarga Berencana di Desa Cigalontang, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, pada tahun 2021.

The development of information technology, particularly the use of smartphones, has changed human activity patterns and significantly impacted the education sector. The "one-stop-shop" concept reflects the use of mobile devices as centers for various activities, including learning. This situation drives the need for innovation in the development of adaptive and interactive learning media. One solution that can be developed is an Android-based mobile application using Flutter, which can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. The Association of Multimedia and Information Technology Professionals (PPMultindo), an organization focused on technology, has developed an Android-based learning platform. This platform is designed to provide flexible access to materials, support interactivity, and facilitate collaboration between educators. Features such as learning analysis, material recommendations, and automatic evaluation are expected to improve the quality of the learning experience. However, the implementation of this technology still faces various challenges, including limited technological competence of educators, inadequate infrastructure, and adjustments to curriculum needs. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed to optimize the use of mobile technology to support educational transformation in the digital era.

The patent dispute between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. is one of the largest Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) conflicts in the modern technology industry. This case began in 2007, when Apple launched the first-generation iPhone, revolutionizing the smartphone market with its minimalist design, full-touch screen, and intuitive interface. The success of the iPhone opened new markets and positioned Apple as an innovation leader. Samsung, as the largest electronics manufacturer in Asia, then produced the Android-based Samsung Galaxy smartphone, which quickly became the iPhone's main competitor. This business competition then turned into a legal dispute when Apple considered Samsung's products too similar to its products. This case involves claims of infringement of design patents and utility patents filed in various jurisdictions such as the United States, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This article uses a normative juridical method with a statutory and case approach. The analysis shows that the patent dispute between Apple and Samsung cannot be resolved through a single international forum due to the territorial nature of the patent system. Therefore, litigation takes place in several countries and results in varying decisions.

Learning Hajj rituals requires innovation to overcome the limitations of available media, one of which is through the utilization of the integration of the Android platform with Augmented Reality technology. The Muslim Sadiq application on smartphones displays 3D objects related to the practice of Hajj rituals. This study aims to explain the design of interactive media based on Augmented Reality as an innovation in learning Hajj rituals, expected to improve student understanding through a more visual, interactive, and contextual learning experience. This media design method adopts two stages of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), namely the needs analysis and media design stages. This study reveals that learning Hajj rituals requires interactive and applicable media to overcome the gap between theoretical understanding and the practice of Hajj worship in real life. The designed media utilizes AR technology to create a simulation of Hajj implementation and supports experience-based learning. Although the design has considered technical and pedagogical aspects, this media is still in the design stage and has not been tested or implemented directly. Therefore, further research is needed to assess the effectiveness of this media in learning Hajj rituals.

The waste detection application is a solution to identify and classify waste. With the increasing waste problem, this application aims to assist in classifying waste into organic, inorganic, and unknown categories. This research implements a waste detection application that runs on smartphones with the Android operating system. The application is the result of a capstone project from the Bangkit program in the MSIB batch 6. The development of this application is divided into several parts, namely backend, frontend, and deployment. The author focuses on the deployment process of the application using Google Cloud Platform. The Google Cloud Platform infrastructure was chosen due to its scalability and flexibility. The services utilized include Google Compute Engine (GCE), Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and Google Cloud Storage (GCS). The deployment process involves creating a new project in Google Cloud, configuring virtual machines, and setting up Google Cloud Storage. The server VM configuration includes the installation of SQL Server (MariaDB), deployment of the Machine Learning API, and Backend API. Testing was carried out on the Machine Learning API using Postman and the Backend API through a browser. The results show that Google Cloud Platform can be implemented as a cloud computing infrastructure for waste detection applications. The Machine Learning API is able to read objects in the form of images sent by users.

Vital Signs Devices function to detect vital signs from the human body, such as body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels. These vital signs provide us information whether our body is healthy or not. This vital sign monitoring device used Arduino Node MCU ESP32 as the data processor integrated with a Wi-Fi module, thus, supporting Internet of Things (IoT) application system. It is connected to an Android smartphone and can display measurement data in real-time. There are three sensors used, namely skin temperature sensor, Nellcor Saturation Partial Oxygen (SPO2) sensor and NIBP sensor that can display parameters such as SPO2, NIBP, heart rate, and body temperature in real-time. Vital Sign Simulator was used to test the SPO2, NIBP and heart rate parameters. Body temperature parameter was tested using warmed water medium in a water bath. The results of normal SPO2, NIBP, heart rate, and body temperature measurement showed fairly small differences.

A wedding is an important event in a person's life that requires various careful preparations, one of which is sending invitations to guests. This research aims to create an Android-based wedding invitation booking application that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) technology with a Design Thinking approach. This approach includes five main stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, to ensure that the developed application is truly in accordance with the needs and expectations of users. With AR technology, users can view and interact directly with virtual invitations through digital devices such as smartphones, which provides a more engaging, interactive, and modern visual experience than conventional physical invitations. The app's key features include invitation design selection, content customization (name, location, date, and couple's photo), as well as simulated invitation display with three-dimensional effects via AR. The app also allows users to store, share, and place orders directly through an integrated system. The results of the evaluation conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed a score of 75.3. This score indicates that the app has a good usability level and is positively received by the majority of respondents. In addition, this application is considered to be able to increase efficiency in the invitation ordering process and provide a more modern and personal impression to users and invited guests. The conclusion of this study is that AR-based wedding invitation booking apps not only serve as a practical tool, but also become digital innovations that enrich the user experience in modern weddings. This research is expected to make a real contribution to the development of creative information technology and inspire other developers to create similar solutions that are innovative, efficient, and relevant to the needs of the times.

Liquid Petroleum Gas, commonly known as LPG, is widely used in household activities, especially for cooking. However, its flammable nature makes this gas very hazardous if a leak occurs, which can result in an explosion that damages buildings, endangers the safety of those living there, and causes financial losses. Recently, the improper or unsafe use of LPG gas has led to numerous accidents and fires. This raises serious concerns for the people who use it. LPG gas leaks are often difficult to detect due to various factors, such as the absence of the gas's distinctive odor or the absence of people around the leak location. This study aims to detect gas leaks to minimize or prevent fires and LPG gas explosions. The methods in the research that will be carried out include identification, literature study, data collection, design, implementation, system testing, and conclusions. In this study, the design and implementation of an LPG gas leak detection system based on Arduino will be carried out to minimize this risk. The system will use MQ-2 to determine the concentration of LPG gas in the air. When a leak is detected, the Arduino microcontroller will process the input and automatically close the solenoid and activate the buzzer as an alarm. The implementation and testing results concluded that the system can detect LPG leaks above 600 ppm and respond effectively by cutting off the gas supply and providing an audible warning. This system is expected to improve household safety by providing early warning of gas leaks. Future developments may include integration with an Android app for smartphones, enabling more practical remote monitoring.

This research examines and analyzes the influence of brand image, product quality, price simultaneously and partially on purchasing decisions. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research. This research uses a non- probability sampling technique using purposive sampling. The sample selection criteria in this study were people who had ever bought an Android smartphone, had used an Android smartphone, had used an Android smartphone for more than 1, year were >17 years old, were in the JABODETABEK area. The questionnaires collected were 150 respondents, the data was then processed using the multiple linear regression method. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that partially the variables brand image, product quality and price have a positive effect on purchasing decisions. And the variables of brand image, product quality and price simultaneously have a positive effect on purchasing decisions.

Some people choose to use gadgets instead of books or other printed media. Public awareness of the dangers of ingredients containing synthetic chemical substances in cakes has gradually begun to open and be awakened. People are now starting to like to make their own cakes because it saves money and is healthier. Making your own cake can also hone people's creativity because innovation is not only for the world of technology but with this creativity it can generate income for housewives. However, the current problem is that housewives living in the Batu Bara area do not understand how to make cakes to increase income in their household, even though by using Android-based smartphones they can be creative in making cakes. The purpose of this research is to create an Android-based cake tutorial application to increase the business income of housewives in the Batu Bara area. The data used in this study are in the form of cake type data, material data, and data on the cake-making process, the results obtained from this study are in the form of an application that can provide information on the ingredients used in making cakes and the steps taken to make cake.

Sistem website dan Android ini lebih praktis, yang mana sistem ini dapat diakses dimana saja dan oleh siapa saja. Juga sistem website dan android ini dinilai lebih murah dan mudah dalam pengembangannya. Penggunaan metode prototype dikarenakan metode prototype ini dinilai mampu dalam mengakomodasi software atau perangkat lunak yang memiliki spesifikasi yang tidak terlalu terperinci. Metode prototype ini dapat digunakan pada setiap model sistem aplikasi, yang mana lebih hemat waktu, dan keterlibatan user dalam pembangunan sistem

Mobile operating systems are software designed to manage the fundamental functions of devices. The most dominant mobile operating systems in today's market are Android and iOS, each capturing their respective user segments with distinct approaches. iOS is a mobile operating system developed by Apple, tailored for its smartphones, while Android is designed by the Open Handset Alliance (led primarily by Google) and developed for Android smartphones and tablets. This study employs a comparative method to analyze the performance and memory management of Android 11 and iOS 14. The findings reveal that iOS 14 is more efficient, with an average memory allocation time of 90 ms, compared to Android 11’s 120 ms. Android 11 offers greater flexibility in handling heavy applications but at the cost of higher memory consumption. Conversely, iOS 14 demonstrates superior efficiency and stability in memory usage, particularly for lightweight and medium applications.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila menggunakan situs web Kodular, dan (2) Mengukur tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila menggunakan situs web Kodular yang dikembangkan pada materi hak dan kewajiban di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat pada elemen NKRI Fase E di SMA Negeri 1 Teras dengan luaran media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi smartphone android. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menerapkan model Sukmadinata yang terdiri tahap studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, pengujian. Sumber data adalah guru dan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Teras, dosen validator. (2) Kelayakan materi memperoleh  kriteria “layak” dengan skor 80 dan media memperoleh kriteria “sangat layak” dengan skor 98 . Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan dari segi materi layak dan media sangat layak sebagai media pembelajaran. lidator ahli. The tool that detects human movement has been designed with a passive infrared sensor based on Arduino ESP32 which can send messages via SMS to the ship's security system. This is the background to the need to improve the security system on ships. The aim of this research is to find out the movement in the ship's engine room. This system can find movements. This tool can detect a maximum distance of 6 m. This system consists of software and hardware that allows sensors to detect human actions. The software uses the C+ language program and is used on the Arduino ESP32. Press the switch to activate this device. A message will be sent to the owner's smartphone if there is movement. Methods and tool system design for applied scientific work that will be carried out using prototype research methods. Prototype research methods are used to produce certain products, and test their effectiveness. The results of the research in this applied scientific work are the level of accuracy of the PIR sensor which detects human movement at a maximum distance of 6 meters and sim800L as a message sender to Android. Beyond that the data is unreadable and invalid.

Students at SMA Negeri 1 Central Bengkulu are still dominated by the manual method, namely taking student absences by recording them on paper which will later be summarized from each student's attendance data. Because the manual recap of student attendance data also affects the information about attendance recaps which is still limited to the school, so parents/guardians cannot monitor student attendance levels. Inconsistency in attendance data can be detrimental to students, there is often a difference between the absences listed in the attendance register book/record into the system, which is one of the factors that makes the original data and data that have been verified into the system different. Utilizing the location of an Android smartphone to become an attendance system, which functions to provide location information based on the user's nearest location, assisting in searching for locations based on 6 existing parameters, namely education (high school/vocational school/university), hospital, hotel, restaurant, tourist attraction , and malls/traditional markets. It is hoped that this application will always be up to date so that this application follows developments in Android-based lecturer/teacher attendance information technology using the Flutter framework.

Mammals are animals with the characteristics of breastfeeding, sweating, and having four limbs such as four feet, a pair of feet and hands, or a pair of wings and feet. In some kindergartens, there is an obstacle where the school targets children from disadvantaged families so that carrying out activities outside the classroom which definitely requires a lot of funds will be difficult to carry out. As technology progresses, there is technology that can help children meet their learning needs and visualizations that are very interesting to use, such as Augmented Reality.The application of augmented reality was created to help children learn to recognize mammals without needing to do activities outside of school. The implementation is carried out using the marker based tracking method accompanied by design tools using UML. The program is made in the form of an Android smartphone application.The results of this application can show mammals in three-dimensional form that is close to their original form. This will help students recognize mammals in more detail, from those that are easy to find to those that are difficult to find or even dangerous to approach.

Shalawat and salam may always be poured out to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, a role model for mankind. This paper describes the development of smarthphone aids that aim to improve accessibility for deaf people. This application is designed using the android operating system to be easily used by users with special needs. The main features included include text to voice translation and vice versa, as well as vibration notifications for incoming calls or messages. With this paper, we hope to create a useful and effective tool for deaf people to be able to access and utilize Smartphone functions maximally, hopefully this paper can provide useful insights and inspire further research in the development of accessibility technology

Most dairy farmers in our country still rely on human labor to monitor the condition of their farm areas. The current problem is the manual security system for barns, meaning that the barns need to be constantly checked around the area at all times. This is especially risky at night, when livestock theft is more likely to occur. This research implements PIR sensor technology to monitor movements around the barn, MC-38 magnetic sensors for gate security, and utilizes Android smartphones as devices to display barn data processing results, allowing real-time monitoring of barn security. The research is conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg & Gall, encompassing only six steps. The results of the system evaluation by experts show a score of 3, falling between 2.1 – 3.0, categorized as Valid. User validation results show a score of 27.2, also falling between 2.1 – 3.0, categorized as Effective.

In the context of rapidly evolving mobile technology, memory management has become an important aspect that determines the efficiency and effectiveness of Android operating systems, particularly on mid- range smartphones. The objective of this research is to identify, analyze and develop memory management strategies that can improve the performance of the Android operating system on resource-constrained devices. Using an experimental approach, this study evaluates various memory management techniques, including the use of optimized caches, memory compression, and page replacement algorithms, to determine the most effective combination to improve system responsiveness and performance. The results show that the implementation of appropriate memory management strategies can significantly improve operating system performance and user experience while extending battery life. These findings provide valuable information for application developers and device manufacturers to optimize their products for mid-range smartphone competition.
