The stock market is a place to buy shares for profit. In Indonesia, energy stocks are highly unpredictable because global commodity prices change constantly. This study examines what affected energy stock returns in 2024, focusing on trading volume, price swings, company profits, and cash flow. Using financial reports and statistical analysis, all these factors were tested together and individually. The results show that combined, all these factors do affect stock returns. However, when looked at one by one, only the company's net profit truly matters to investors. On the other hand, busy trading, daily price swings, and cash flow have no impact at all. In fact, all the factors studied only account for 14% of stock return movements, while the remaining 86% is driven by other outside forces. In conclusion, for those looking to invest in energy stocks, the most important thing to watch is the company's ability to generate net profit, rather than just looking at how busy daily transactions are in the market.

Shares trading below their intrinsic value present compelling return opportunities, particularly for long‑term investors. This study aims to assess the valuation of eight food‑and‑beverage issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the 2021–2025 period using two market‑based valuation instruments: the Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) and the Price to Book Value (PBV). A quantitative descriptive design was employed, and a purposive sampling technique selected eight issuers: INDF, ICBP, MYOR, ROTI, GOOD, CLEO, CMRY, and CAMP. The sectoral benchmarks obtained were an average industry PER of 22.64 times and an average industry PBV of 3.45 times. Comparative analysis reveals that INDF (PER 7.38x; PBV 0.59x), ICBP (PER 17.60x; PBV 1.83x), ROTI (PER 18.86x; PBV 2.47x), and CAMP (PER 16.59x; PBV 1.78x) are undervalued relative to the industry average and therefore merit consideration as buy candidates, while MYOR, GOOD, CLEO, and CMRY are overvalued. INDF emerges as the most attractive investment candidate because its PBV remained consistently below 1.00 throughout the observation window, a condition recognized in value‑investing literature as deeply undervalued. The findings reinforce the argument that combining PER and PBV serves as a reliable tool for identifying high‑potential stocks from a fundamental analysis perspective.

The Indonesian capital market has become a vital pillar of the national economy, providing opportunities for companies to obtain funding while simultaneously providing an investment vehicle for the wider community. In this context, stocks are the most sought-after instrument due to the potential returns they offer. However, stock investment is constantly faced with uncertainty, with fluctuating stock prices often presenting challenges for investors, especially those without a thorough understanding of the company's fundamental performance. An interesting phenomenon, the starting point of this research, is the quite extreme price movements of BIPI shares over the past decade. From 2015 to 2021, BIPI's share price remained stagnant at Rp 50 per share, a condition often referred to by market participants as "gocap" (goat capit). This condition reflects low investor interest in the company's shares, possibly due to high risk perceptions or unconvincing fundamental performance.

Public companies must maintain sustainability, as it is related to their value. A company's value can be measured by its share price; a higher market price indicates a company's financial performance and investment returns for investors. A phenomenon has been observed in the consumer non-cyclical sector, which experienced declines and fluctuations in value from 2020 to 2024. This phenomenon indicates that falling share prices lead to a decline in company value. This study aims to analyze the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility, Tax Avoidance, and Dividend Policy on Company Value in companies in the Consumer Non-Cyclical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2024 period. The study sample consisted of 10 companies with 50 data observations selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the help of EViews 12 software. The results of the study indicate that (1) Corporate Social Responsibility, Tax Avoidance, and Dividend Policy as a whole have an effect on Company Value, (2) Corporate Social Responsibility partially has no effect on Company Value, (3) Tax Avoidance partially has no effect on Company Value, (4) Dividend Policy partially has no effect on Company Value. These findings prove that Corporate Social Responsibility, Tax Avoidance, and Dividend Policy together are able to influence company value, even though each variable does not have an effect on company value.

This study aims to (1) describe the marketing channels of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm under partnership and independent (self-managed) schemes in Merlung District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency; (2) analyze marketing margins, farmer’s share, and marketing efficiency for each scheme; and (3) compare differences in marketing margins and farmer’s share between single-level marketing channels in both business schemes. The research was conducted in 2025 using a survey method with simple random sampling techniques. The data used consisted of primary data obtained through direct interviews with farmers and marketing institutions, as well as secondary data from relevant agencies. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis, marketing margin analysis, farmer’s share, marketing efficiency analysis, and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The results show that there are two types of marketing channel patterns, namely single-level and two-level channels. The single-level marketing channel has lower marketing margins, higher farmer’s share, and better marketing efficiency. In addition, there are significant differences between single-level marketing channels in both business schemes. These findings imply that shorter marketing channels are more efficient and provide a greater share of the selling price to smallholder oil palm farmers

This study aims to analyze the contribution and potential of the Lampung Province tourism sector to national economic growth in the 2020-2025 period. Using a quantitative descriptive approach using the Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift Share methods, this study processes secondary data on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices from the Central Statistics Agency. The analysis shows that although Lampung's macroeconomic performance is still dominated by the primary sector, the tourism sector, particularly the accommodation and food and beverage subsector, has demonstrated post-pandemic resilience with a significant positive growth trend. In 2024, the GRDP value of this subsector at the provincial level reached IDR 4,616.76 billion, with strategic areas such as Bandar Lampung City confirming the accommodation sector as a base sector (LQ > 1) with a high competitive advantage. The integration of a creative economy based on local wisdom, such as the use of Tapis cloth and digital marketing, has been proven to increase the attractiveness of destinations, capable of driving the volume of domestic tourist trips to reach 17.87 million trips by 2024. This finding confirms that Lampung's tourism sector is not only a regional economic driver, but also makes a substantial contribution to national income through a multiplier effect on job creation and increasing domestic foreign exchange. Optimizing collaboration between policymakers and accelerating infrastructure development are key to strengthening the strategic position of Lampung tourism in the future.

The auditor's responsibilities include not only assessing the accuracy of financial statements and detecting fraud, but also evaluating the company's ability to continue its business on an ongoing basis. This responsibility arises from the expectations of shareholders and other stakeholders that auditors provide timely and relevant information about the company's future prospects to support rational and evidence-based investment decision-making. In this context, audit opinions related to business continuity are an important instrument in reducing information asymmetry between management and investors. This study aims to analyze the impact of liquidity, solvency, and audit quality on the issuance of business continuity declarations. The research sample consisted of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2014 and 2017, a period marked by fluctuations in commodity prices and global economic uncertainty. Logistic regression is used as an analysis method because dependent variables are dichotomous. The results showed that audit quality had a significant negative impact on the issuance of business continuity declarations, while liquidity and solvency did not have a significant impact on the issuance of the declarations, indicating that the factors of governance and auditor independence were more decisive than short-term financial conditions.

Regional economic development requires a comprehensive understanding of the structure, potential, and dynamics of economic sectors so that formulated policies can be targeted and sustainable. Bojonegoro Regency as one of the regions in East Java Province has unique economic characteristics with the dominance of certain sectors, so it is necessary to conduct an in-depth analysis of the economic sectors that play a role in driving regional growth. This study aims to identify basic and non-basic sectors, analyze the dynamics of changes in economic sectors, and assess the sectoral competitiveness of Bojonegoro Regency compared to East Java Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product at constant prices by business field obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical methods used include Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, and Shift Share. The results show that the mining and quarrying sector remains the sector with the most dominant relative advantage in the economic structure of Bojonegoro Regency. However, the analysis of dynamics and competitiveness indicates that several non-extractive sectors are starting to show faster development and growth potential. This finding suggests an opportunity for transformation of the regional economic structure towards a more diverse pattern. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of regional economic development strategies that do not only rely on traditional leading sectors, but also encourage the development of more sustainable potential sectors.

Share trading in limited liability companies that does not comply with the procedures for transferring share ownership under the Company Law may lead to legal disputes, particularly unpaid share transactions. This study examines the annulment of share sales by the court to protect the seller’s interests when the buyer defaults, based on Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code. The case analyzed is District Court Decision No. 6 K/Pdt.G/2017. Legal protection for sellers includes clauses concerning legal subjects and objects, price, payment methods, share transfer, and dispute resolution in accordance with Articles 1457 and 1513 of the Civil Code. Using a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, analytical, and case approaches, the study concludes that default in share sale agreements may nullify ownership rights. Therefore, strict sanctions and legal remedies through the court are essential to safeguard shareholders’ rights.

Regional development faces dynamic challenges amid rapid economic growth driven by natural resource extraction. This study aims to identify leading economic sectors, analyze structural economic transformation, and evaluate the role of these sectors in regional development. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Secondary data consist of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices over the past five years. The analytical techniques applied include Location Quotient analysis to identify base sectors, Shift-Share analysis to assess structural changes as well as comparative and competitive advantages, and Klassen Typology to classify sectoral growth patterns. The results reveal a structural shift from primary sectors, such as agriculture and fisheries, toward secondary sectors, including mining and manufacturing. Despite challenges related to development equity, these leading sectors serve as key drivers of regional economic growth. To maximize the contribution of leading sectors to broader regional development, this study recommends that government policies prioritize the strengthening of intersectoral linkages.

The principle of comparative advantage explains that every country or society, like individuals, can gain benefits from their trade activities by exporting goods or services in which they have a major comparative advantage and importing goods or services in which they do not. Based on the law of comparative advantage, even though a country may be less efficient (having an absolute disadvantage) compared to other countries in the production process, the structure of industrial performance can be seen through the analysis of industrial sector behavior analyzed through various strategies such as Price, Product, and promotion. The theory of comparative advantage related to the exchange of goods is relevant as long as the traded goods are still useful. In other words, Performance is defined as the result of activities influenced by the structure and behavior within the industrial sector, where these results are often measured by the size of a company's market share or profitability in an industry. In more detail, performance can also be reflected in the form of efficiency, development (including market expansion), job creation, employee welfare, and a sense of group pride.

This research examines the analysis of Return on Equity (ROE), Quick Ratio (QR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on corporate valuation, as assessed by Price-to-Book Value (PBV), within technology firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2022 to 2024. The primary aim of this investigation is to ascertain the effects of profitability, liquidity, and leverage both in isolation and in conjunction on market valuation in an industry characterized by innovation and intangible assets. This research employs panel data regression analysis utilizing EViews 13 as the quantitative methodology. The findings reveal that ROE significantly enhances PBV, indicating that investors place considerable importance on firms that are capable of generating substantial returns on equity for shareholders. Conversely, QR and DER appear to have no discernible impact on PBV. This observation can be attributed to the unique nature of technology companies, wherein investors prioritize factors other than short-term liquidity and leverage. Nonetheless, when assessed collectively, the three metrics illuminate the variations in corporate value. These results suggest that while financial stability indices exert a positive yet comparatively subdued effect on investor sentiment within the technology sector, profitability remains a paramount determinant. The study elucidates the financial determinants that influence corporate value in innovation-driven industries, providing valuable insights for managers and investors alike.

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability ratios, namely Earnings per Share (EPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE), on the stock price of PT Ciputra Development Tbk during the 2016–2023 period. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal research design using secondary data derived from quarterly financial statements and stock closing prices published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, supported by classical assumption tests, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous testing (F-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that EPS, NPM, and ROA do not have a significant effect on stock prices, while ROE has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, all profitability variables do not significantly influence stock prices. The coefficient of determination indicates that profitability ratios explain a relatively small proportion of stock price variation, suggesting that stock prices in the property sector are influenced more by external and market-related factors than by short-term profitability indicators. These findings imply that ROE is the most relevant profitability indicator for investors in assessing property sector stocks, while other profitability ratios play a limited role.

This study aims to see the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return on Assets (ROA) on Stock Price in PT. Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia, Tbk which is listed on the IDX during the period 2015–2022. The data used in this study is in the form of the company's annual financial statements obtained through secondary sources. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods, while data processing is carried out using the SPSS application. The results of the study show that partially the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) variable has a negative effect on the Share Price, while the Return on Assets (ROA) does not have a positive effect on the company's Share Price. However, the results of the simultaneous test show that DER and ROA together have a positive and significant influence on the Stock Price. These findings provide an idea that the combination of capital structure and profitability remains an important indicator in assessing the performance of a company's shares even though their partial relationships show different tendencies. In addition, this research can be a reference for investors in considering the company's fundamental condition before making investment decisions, as well as provide additional insights for management in managing the capital structure more optimally.

This study discusses allegations of abuse of dominant position by Lion Air Group in the domestic aviation market and air cargo services in Indonesia. By controlling more than 50% of the market share, the group is suspected of unilaterally setting ticket prices and logistics costs, which could hinder healthy business competition and harm consumers and competing airlines. This study uses a normative juridical approach with a descriptive qualitative analysis method, supported by secondary data from legislation, KPPU reports, and academic literature related to competition law. The study's findings indicate that the concentrated market structure and weak regulatory oversight contribute to the formation of dominant behavior that harms the market and consumers. Legally, such actions violate Article 25 of Law Number 5 of 1999, as they result in discriminatory practices and unreasonable price control. Synergy between the KPPU and the Ministry of Transportation is needed to strengthen regulations in the aviation sector in order to create a business climate that is more fair, competitive, and oriented towards public welfare.

Firm value reflects investors’ perception of a company’s success, which is generally measured through its stock price. To enhance firm value, companies are required to manage their operations with integrity, efficiency, and professionalism, while safeguarding stakeholders’ interests through the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). GCG establishes a framework governing the relationships among shareholders, management, creditors, and the government in relation to their respective rights and responsibilities. In addition to GCG, environmental performance also plays an important role in influencing firm value. Effective corporate management should therefore align with the three dimensions of the Triple Bottom Line framework: profit, people, and planet. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on the effect of Good Corporate Governance implementation and environmental performance on firm value. The research was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. A total of 41 companies were selected as samples using the purposive sampling method. Data were collected from the official IDX website (www.idx.id) and the respective companies’ official websites. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the independent board of commissioners, board of directors, and environmental performance have a positive and significant effect on firm value. However, the audit committee does not have a significant effect on firm value.

In January 2025, automatic motorcycles recorded a fantastic market share of 93.75% of total sales. This figure confirms Indonesian consumers' preference for the practicality and comfort offered by automatic motorcycles. This trend shows a shift in consumer interest, with consumers now preferring automatic motorcycles for their daily mobility needs over manual motorcycles. The purchase decision is a stage in the decision-making process until the consumer actually buys the product. Based on the background of the research through interviews, the researcher found that sales of Honda Beat motorcycles at the Taruna Adi Prima branch in Pati city fluctuated annually. Based on this background, the researcher was interested in determining the influence of price, product quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions. The number of respondents was 100 who had purchased Honda Beat motorcycles at the Taruna Adi Prima branch in Pati City, which became the sample for this quantitative study. Based on the research results, the price variable did not have an influence on purchasing decisions, but product quality had a positive and significant influence, and brand image also had a positive and significant influence with a significance value (sig) of 0.000 < 0.05.
