This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Leadership and Digital Culture on Organizational Performance thru the mediation of Technowork Engagement at the Immigration Office Class I Special TPI Semarang. Digital transformation in public organizations requires a comprehensive understanding of leadership mechanisms, culture, and technology engagement in improving service performance. The research method uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data was collected through a survey of 65 Immigration Office employees using a structured questionnaire. The research instrument has met the standards of validity and reliability. The analysis results show that Digital Leadership significantly influences Organizational Performance and Technowork Engagement. Digital Culture significantly influences Technowork Engagement but does not directly affect Organizational Performance. Technowork Engagement was proven to have a significant impact on Organizational Performance. The findings indicate that digital leadership is a crucial factor in the digital transformation of public organizations, while digital culture requires mediation through technological engagement to impact performance. The practical implications emphasize the importance of developing digital leadership capacity and strategies to enhance technowork engagement in optimizing the performance of immigration services.

Background: Elderly people were a vulnerable population who experienced physical, psychological, social, and environmental changes that could reduce their quality of life. One important factor influencing quality of life was social support. Social support played a crucial role in helping alderly people improve their well-being and life satisfaction. Elderly people who received high social support from family, friends, or their environment tended to feel more valued, loved, and cared for. Method: This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 204 elderly people living in Pucang Gading Social Service Home, Semarang and Wening Wardoyo Social Servise Home, Ungaran. A total of 135 respondents were selection using non probability sampling. Data were collected using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure social support and the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire to assess quality of life of older adults. Data analysis was conducted using the Somers’d test with a significance level of 0,05. Results: The results showed that most respondents have high social support (60,7%) and high quality of life (74,1%). The somers’d test indicated a p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05) and a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,508, indicating a positive relationship with moderate strength. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between social support and quality of life among elderly people at social homes in Semarang. Increasing social support from family, peers, and the institutional environment could help elderly people experience their later years more happily, meaningfully, and prosperously.

The selection of this research topic is based on the important role of packing machines in the noodle production process. As consumer demand continues to increase and industrial competition becomes more intense, optimizing production efficiency is a critical requirement for manufacturing companies. This study focuses on the Tokiwa W500 Packing Machine used at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Noodle Division, Semarang. The research method involves a comprehensive review of the machine control system to evaluate its operational performance. Data collection was conducted through direct observation, structured interviews with machine operators, and relevant literature review. The review emphasizes system performance, operational efficiency, and the level of automation, while identifying potential areas for improvement. The results indicate that the Tokiwa W500 Packing Machine operates in a stable and consistent manner during the noodle packaging process. However, opportunities were identified to enhance the automation system in order to improve production efficiency and reduce the risk of human error. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and optimized control systems for industrial packing machines.

This study aims to analyze the influence of location, promotion, and service on purchasing decisions at Toko Lia 99 Semarang. The background of this research is based on the increasing competition in the retail business, which requires companies to pay attention to factors that can influence consumers’ purchasing decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are customers of Toko Lia 99 Semarang. The research instrument was a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results show that, partially, the location variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The promotion variable also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Likewise, the service variable is proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, location, promotion, and service have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh lokasi, biaya kuliah, dan promosi terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk melanjutkan studi di Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis (ITB) Semarang. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada faktor-faktor eksternal yang diduga memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan minat mahasiswa dalam memilih perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner berbasis Google Form. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa ITB Semarang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 65 orang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh dari  masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi, biaya kuliah, dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa memilih ITB Semarang sebagai tempat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa semakin strategis lokasi kampus, semakin terjangkau biaya kuliah, dan semakin efektif promosi yang dilakukan, maka semakin tinggi minat mahasiswa untuk mendaftar.

Employee retention is a crucial aspect in maintaining smooth operations and the quality of human resources within an organization. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational support, career development, job satisfaction, organizational culture, and work-life balance on production employee retention at PT. Lucky Textile Semarang. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, distributing questionnaires to 307 respondents, selected using the Slovin formula, from a population of 1,325 production employees. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The results indicate that organizational support has no effect on employee retention, career development has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, and work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee retention. These findings confirm that internal factors related to personal development, job satisfaction, and a healthy work culture are the most important factors in employee retention decisions. Therefore, companies need to prioritize career advancement strategies, improve working conditions, and strengthen organizational culture to maintain a competent workforce in the long term.

This study aims to examine the influence of work environment, work motivation, and job training on employee performance, with work discipline as an intervening variable at PT. Telkom Akses Semarang. The population of this research consists of 400 employees of PT. Telkom Akses Semarang, which is a prominent company in the telecommunications sector. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and the sample size of 100 employees was determined using the Slovin formula to ensure a representative sample. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed randomly to the selected respondents to gather comprehensive and reliable information. This study employed a quantitative analysis approach, utilizing Smart PLS as the analytical tool, covering the outer model, inner model, and hypothesis testing to assess the relationships between the variables. The findings indicate that the work environment, work motivation, and job training significantly affect employee performance at PT. Telkom Akses Semarang. Furthermore, the use of work discipline as an intervening variable also mediates the influence of work environment, work motivation, and job training on employee performance, suggesting that work discipline plays a crucial role in enhancing overall employee productivity and organizational success.

The growth of coffee shop businesses in Semarang has accelerated in line with the rising coffee consumption trend among younger generations. In this context, employees play a crucial role in ensuring service quality. However, job dissatisfaction triggered by work-related stress and excessive service load remains a significant challenge. This study aims to examine the influence of occupational strain, service load, reward fairness, supervisory support, and work-life balance on job satisfaction among coffee shop employees in Semarang. A quantitative approach was used through a survey method, utilizing a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. A total of 100 respondents from various coffee shops in Semarang were selected using a census technique. The results revealed that occupational strain and service load have a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, reward fairness, supervisory support, and work-life balance have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. These findings offer valuable insights for coffee shop owners in developing effective human resource strategies that promote employee wellbeing and maintain high service quality.

This research is motivated by the existence of factors that influence employee performance in a company. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of extrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and work-life balance on the performance in the 12-cigarette production employees at PT Praoe Lajar Semarang. The population in this study was 120 employees in the 12-cigarette production department at PT Praoe Lajar Semarang. The sample used was purposive sampling, with 60 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire and the measurement used a likert scale. The test tool used was SPSS Version 26. Data analysis methods included validity testing, reliability testing, respondent description analysis, multiple linear regression, classical assumption testing, t-test, and coefficient of determination testing. The results indicate that extrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that employees are motivated by external influences to improve their performance. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that employees are satisfied with their ability to improve their performance. Work life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the higher the work life balance of employees, the better their performance will be.

This study aims to analyze the impact of content marketing, influencer marketing, and online customer reviews on the purchasing interest in Skintific products on TikTok among Generation Z students of the Bachelor of Management program at Universitas Semarang. Primary data was collected through a Google Form questionnaire distributed to Generation Z students using purposive sampling technique, based on the criteria of Generation Z age, active TikTok users, and familiarity with Skintific products. A quantitative approach was applied using multiple linear regression analysis after validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests met the requirements. The results show that content marketing, influencer marketing, and online customer reviews individually have a significant positive effect on purchasing interest in Skintific products. Simultaneously, these three variables significantly influence purchasing interest, with a strong contribution. These findings imply that an integrated digital marketing strategy involving content marketing, influencer marketing, and online customer reviews is effective in increasing purchasing interest among Generation Z students on TikTok. This provides valuable insights for companies in designing more effective digital marketing campaigns to attract young consumers through social media platforms.

Perhitungan daya dukung pondasi yang akurat menjadi aspek penting dalam memastikan stabilitas dan keamanan struktur bangunan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan nilai daya dukung ultimit (Qu) dari pondasi bored pile dengan menggunakan empat pendekatan berbeda, yaitu perhitungan manual menggunakan metode Schmertmann & Nottingham, Mayerhoff (1976), software Allpile, serta hasil uji lapangan dengan PDA (Pile Driving Analyzer). Studi kasus dilakukan pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Fave Hotel yang terletak di Banyumanik, Semarang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode Schmertmann & Nottingham dengan nilai Qu tertinggi sebesar 282,25 ton. Sedangkan nilai terendah berasal dari hasil uji PDA 159,61 ton. Metode Mayerhoff (1976), memberikan nilai sebesar 170,30 ton, sementara Allpile menghasilkan nilai 160,79 ton. Selisih nilai ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan pendekatan dan asumsi yang digunakan oleh masing-masing metode. Secara umum, hasil PDA dianggap paling merepresentasikan kondisi aktual di lapangan karena merupakan hasil uji dinamis langsung pada tiang. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan manual dan software Allpile dapat dijadikan sebagai estimasi awal dalam tahap desain, namun tetap perlu divalidasi melalui pengujian lapangan untuk memperoleh hasil yang lebih realistis dan dapat diandalkan.

The coffee industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly and encouraging coffee shops, including MSMEs, to strengthen their branding strategies through digital media. This study aims to design and evaluate Instagram social media content to increase brand awareness of Kamala Kopi, a local coffee shop in Gunungpati, Semarang. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) with stages of concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The content produced consists of music videos, promotional posters, and menu visuals, which were then tested through internal and external validation, as well as a questionnaire administered to 68 respondents. The research results showed a positive and significant influence of Instagram content on brand awareness of 1.007 with a coefficient of determination of 90.4%. These findings confirm that content on Instagram social media plays an important role in strengthening the visibility of SME brands and can be an effective strategy to increase brand awareness.

The development of the laundry business requires an effective visual communication strategy to build brand image and competitiveness. This study aims to design a visual branding strategy for Titu Binatu, a laundry UMKM in Tembalang, Semarang. Through a visual communication design approach, this study analyzes visual identity elements such as logos, colors, typography, and promotional media in shaping consumer perceptions. The method used is qualitative through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that Titu Binatu needs a strong visual identity and appropriate promotion to reach the market, especially students and workers. Strengthening branding with offline and online media is needed so that visual branding becomes a strategic tool in business development in the digital era.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak penutupan perlintasan kereta api Alastuo terhadap peningkatan volume kendaraan dan intensitas kebisingan di kawasan Fly Over Bangetayu, Kota Semarang. Fenomena ini mencerminkan tantangan tata kelola lalu lintas urban akibat perubahan infrastruktur transportasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini dilakukan melalui metode studi kasus di lokasi terdampak. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi visual, serta pengukuran intensitas kebisingan menggunakan sound level meter pada sembilan titik waktu berbeda selama tiga hari pengamatan. Partisipan meliputi warga sekitar, pengguna jalan, dan petugas lalu lintas. Hasil analisis tematik menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara peningkatan volume kendaraan dan intensitas kebisingan, dengan nilai puncak kebisingan mencapai 93,6 dB pada sore hari. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa perubahan rute akibat intervensi kebijakan infrastruktur dapat menyebabkan beban akustik yang signifikan di jalur alternatif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang relasi spasial antara kebijakan lalu lintas dan degradasi lingkungan akustik. Implikasi teoretis mengarah pada integrasi studi kebisingan dalam perencanaan transportasi berkelanjutan, sementara implikasi praktis mencakup kebutuhan akan pengaturan lalu lintas yang adaptif serta mitigasi kebisingan melalui vegetasi, jalur alternatif, dan edukasi berkendara. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan melibatkan pendekatan interdisipliner untuk mengevaluasi dampak kebisingan terhadap kesehatan masyarakat secara langsung.

Beban gempa merupakan representasi dari beban statik ekuivalen yang diaplikasikan pada seluruh bagian struktur bangunan atau pada bagian tertentu, dengan tujuan menirukan efek gerakan tanah akibat aktivitas seismik. Di antara berbagai metode analisis, analisis time history dikenal sebagai teknik yang paling presisi dalam memprediksi respons struktur terhadap gempa. Namun, penerapan metode ini memerlukan proses perhitungan yang kompleks dan cukup menyita waktu. Untuk menyederhanakan proses tersebut, digunakan pendekatan analisis statik ekuivalen, yang terbukti cukup efektif, khususnya pada struktur bangunan yang bersifat simetris. Prosedur perhitungan dalam metode ini mencakup evaluasi gaya geser serta simpangan antar lantai, dengan studi kasus berupa gedung perkantoran yang berlokasi di Kota Semarang. Perangkat lunak SAP2000 dimanfaatkan sebagai alat bantu dalam melakukan analisis tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, gaya geser dan simpangan antar lantai yang diperoleh telah sesuai dan memenuhi ketentuan yang ditetapkan dalam standar SNI 1726:2019 untuk bangunan gedung.

Islamic economic instruments in the Indonesian economic system play an important role, such as waqf which can provide many benefits to society. Waqf instruments continue to innovate, where previously they were limited to land or buildings, now there are waqf instruments in the form of money. However, cash waqf is considered to be still not optimal because the potential of existing waqf is very far from the waqf that can be collected. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of attitudes, subjective norms, performance expectations and social influences on intentions to endow money. The population of this study is the Muslim community in the city of Semarang. By taking a sample of 150 respondents by purposive non-random sampling. The data collection used a Googleform questionnaire, the data analysis method used SEM (Structural Equation Model) based on the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results showed that the research model used was valid and reliable so that it was used properly. Based on the hypothesis test, the result is that attitude has a positive and significant direct effect on the intention of cash waqf. Subjective norms have a positive and not significant direct effect on cash waqf intentions. Performance Expectation has a positive and significant effect on cash waqf intentions. Social influence has a positive and insignificant effect on cash waqf intentions. The conclusion from this study is that the higher the attitude factor in a person which comes from beliefs in behaviour, the higher the intention of cash waqf, and the higher the performance expectation factor which comes from the level of confidence in obtaining profits in behaviour, the higher the intention of cash waqf. Likewise, subjective norm factors originating from social pressure have no influence on cash waqf intentions and social influence factors originating from social pressure in perceiving the use of the system have no influence on cash waqf intentions.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing GoPay user loyalty in Semarang. The background of this research is based on the high penetration of e-wallet services in Indonesia, which is increasingly competitive, with many service providers such as OVO, DANA, ShopeePay, and LinkAja offering various promotional programs. The research method used a quantitative approach through a survey of 120 active GoPay user respondents, then the data was analyzed using the SmartPLS application. The results showed that promotions did not significantly influence user loyalty, while perceptions of usefulness and brand image had a positive and significant influence. This indicates that user loyalty is not only built through short-term incentives, but is more determined by perceptions of service benefits and trust in the brand image. These findings emphasize the importance of companies not only relying on promotional strategies, but rather focusing more on improving service quality, feature innovation, and consistency in maintaining brand reputation. With the right strategy, GoPay is expected to maintain a loyal user base amidst the increasingly fierce e-wallet competition in Indonesia.

Working at heights refers to performing tasks in elevated locations, which pose a risk of injury to workers in the event of a fall. To reduce the number of accidents caused by working at heights, one of the necessary steps is conducting hazard and risk assessments using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. JSA is an analytical method used to identify hazards at the workplace and find ways to reduce the risks of accidents. The purpose of this study is to assess the completeness of safety equipment for working at heights, to explain hazard identification, to analyze risks in building structure work, to determine criteria and hazard assessments, and to understand risk control in building structure, plumbing, and electrical work according to the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method in healthcare facility buildings in Semarang. The results of the study show that the risk level, calculated using the Risk Rating Number (RRN), for all potential hazards in structure, plumbing, and electrical work, reveals the following: for structure work, three hazards fall into the extreme category (43.84%), one hazard falls into the high category (16.44%), four hazards fall into the medium category (39.73%), and no hazards fall into the low category (0%); for plumbing work, three hazards fall into the extreme category (38.55%), one hazard falls into the high category (14.46%), five hazards fall into the medium category (46.99%), and no hazards fall into the low category (0%); and for electrical work, three hazards fall into the extreme category (44.74%), three hazards fall into the high category (31.58%), three hazards fall into the medium category (21.05%), and one hazard falls into the low category (2.63%).

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu kondisi medis yang dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi serius, seperti penyakit jantung koroner, stroke, dan gagal ginjal . Manajemen perawatan diri (self-care management) menjadi faktor penting dalam mengontrol tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi . Self-care management mencakup regulasi diri, kepatuhan terhadap pengobatan, pemantauan tekanan darah, serta interaksi dengan tenaga medis . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional dan metode cross-sectional . Sampel penelitian berjumlah 159 pasien hipertensi yang berobat di RS Islam Sultan Agung Semarang. Dari analisis univariat, mayoritas responden berada dalam rentang usia 45-59 tahun, berpendidikan terakhir SD, bekerja sebagai wiraswasta, serta memiliki tekanan darah tinggi selama rata-rata 3 tahun. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara self-care management dan tekanan darah sistolik (p = 0,035) serta tekanan darah diastolik (p = 0,041) . Kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan antara self-care management dengan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi . Bendera dan lambang Negara, Bahasa Indonesia, serta Lagu Kebangsaan merupakan cerminan kedaulatan, kemandirian, dan eksistensi negara yang merdeka, bersatu, berdaulat, adil dan makmur, sekaligus sebagai jati diri bangsa dan identitas negara. Pada umumnya masyarakat mengetahui tentang bendera, bahasa, lambang negara, dan juga lagu kebangsaan serta menggunakannya dalam aktivitas bermasyarakat namun kurang memahami aspek yuridisnya secara baik dan benar. Hal ini dialami pula oleh para siswa di SMA Kesatrian 2 Semarang. Kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman para siswa SMA Kesatrian 2 Semarang tentang aspek yuridis penggunaan bendera, bahasa, lambang negara, dan lagu kebangsaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari berdasar UU Nomor 24 Tahun 2009. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui teknis penyuluhan hukum dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan bantuan hukum. Evaluasi kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode tanya jawab langsung serta kuesioner. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM, para siswa menjadi lebih memahami aspek yuridis penggunaan bendera, bahasa, dan lambang negara, serta lagu kebangsaan sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang berlaku. Demikian pula dengan sanksi administratif dan pidananya. Ada peningkatan pemahaman siswa saat sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan.
