Illegal logging is a form of environmental crime that has a serious impact on forest destruction, loss of biodiversity, and disruption of ecosystem balance. This study aims to analyze law enforcement efforts against illegal logging practices in the Kwala Serapuh Village Forest area. The method used in this study is an empirical juridical approach with data collection through interviews, field observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that despite the existence of regulations governing forest protection, law enforcement still faces various obstacles such as weak supervision, limited resources of law enforcement officials, and the involvement of individuals in these illegal practices. Efforts made include taking action against perpetrators, increasing patrols, and empowering communities around the forest. However, the effectiveness of law enforcement still needs to be improved through inter-institutional synergy, strengthening the capacity of the apparatus, and increasing community participation. This study concludes that law enforcement against illegal logging in the Kwala Serapuh Village Forest is still not optimal and requires a more comprehensive approach.

The advancement of information technology has encouraged companies to enhance operational efficiency through computerized systems, particularly in human resource management. PT Volar Mekanikal Teknologi x Luminous Creation faces challenges in manual attendance recording, unsystematic leave management, and a payroll system that lacks integration. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement a web-based Employee Management Information System using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology. The system focuses on three main features: attendance tracking using GPS and selfie verification, online leave applications, and automated payroll calculation integrated with attendance data. The system development process includes planning, design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), coding with the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and testing through the Black-Box method. The implementation results show that the system effectively improves efficiency and accuracy in employee management, while also supporting the company’s operational activities in a more professional and structured manner.

The manual attendance system using paper at work locations other than offices at PT Gresik Migas creates challenges in the effectiveness and efficiency of employee attendance records. This study implements a web-based attendance system that integrates geolocation and selfie features to improve the accuracy and efficiency of attendance recording. The system was developed using native PHP for backend, jQuery for frontend, MySQL as database, and Leaflet JS for geolocation implementation. Implementation results show the system was successfully implemented in 5 different locations with a 50-meter validation radius and used by 40 employees. This system enables real-time attendance monitoring through an admin dashboard and produces more efficient attendance records compared to the previous manual system.

Puskesmas Kosambi employs Non-PNS staff whose discipline, particularly regarding attendance and work location, needs to be evaluated. The previous manual attendance system was found to be ineffective in monitoring staff discipline. This study aims to develop a mobile-based attendance system equipped with GPS radius and selfie photo features to improve the accuracy and management of attendance. The GPS radius feature ensures that staff can only clock in within the designated area, such as the Puskesmas area, while the selfie photo feature verifies the identity of the staff member clocking in. This study involved 24 Non-PNS staff members and used the K-Means Clustering algorithm to group staff based on their discipline levels. The results showed that the system was effective in improving staff discipline, with 11 employees categorized as highly disciplined, 10 as moderately disciplined, and 3 as lowly disciplined. The implications of this study suggest that the implementation of a mobile-based attendance system can improve attendance monitoring and enhance work discipline at Puskesmas Kosambi.

This research uses the Polya problem-solving procedure to describe students' difficulty in problem-solving in the material about systems of linear equations in two variables. The method in this research is descriptive research. The subjects in this research were three students in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. The data analysis techniques used are data presentation, data reduction and conclusion. The results of this research show that of the four stages of Polya problem solving, students who have the highest scores can fulfil all stages of Polya problem solving, students who have medium scores can fulfil three stages of Polya problem solving, and students who have high scores can fulfil two stages of Polya problem-solving.

Keywords: Selfie, Media Sosial, Interpretas

Taking selfies for documentation reasons mentioned by Rettberg (2014) and Chae (2017). Likewise, this study reports documentation and archiving, which is part of communicating self-motives. Additionally, this research draws attention to general digital effects such as special event filters and seasonal filters used with selfies to signal specific locations or events. In their research, Senft and Baym (2015) noted that selfies can be used as an empowering tool to overcome political problems. This research shows how selfies are used as an empowering tool to educate Saudi women, particularly about their legal rights. The use of selfies as an educational tool in the context of public problems has not been reported in previous research.
