This study aims to identify effective methods that parents can use to help young children develop reading skills. Through a literature review and case studies, this research presents various strategies for parents, such as selecting books that match the child’s interests, creating an enjoyable reading environment, and providing positive feedback. The findings are intended to serve as a guide for parents in creating an optimal learning environment for their children. Reading ability is a crucial foundation for cognitive development in children. This study examines the critical role of parents in facilitating the development of reading skills in young children. By reviewing literature, the study highlights various activities that parents can engage in, such as reading together, providing engaging books, and creating a supportive environment for fostering a child’s interest in reading. The findings indicate that active parental involvement in reading activities from an early age has a significant positive impact on improving reading skills, comprehension, and a child's love for books.

This article dsiscusses the importance of parental assistance in the process of learning to read for grade 1 students at SD KARANGUNTUNG VILLAGE. Parental involvement at home plays a very important role in building a strong early literacy foundation for children. Through effective assistance, students will more easily understand reading learning material, improve their literacy skills, and increase their confidence in communicating. This research aims to understand the role of parents in supporting children's learning to read at home and to provide practical recommendations for parents in carrying out this role. The methods used in this article are literature studies and field observations which provide a real picture of the positive impact of parental assistance

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  role  of  parents  in  online  learning  on children's cognitive abilities, inhibiting and supporting factors experienced by parents at SDN 1.2 Pangelak. Through this study, it is hoped that parents can realize how important  parental  involvement  in  online  learning  towards  children's  cognitive abilities in Catholic Religious Education subjects during the covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted on May at SDN 1.2 Pangelak. The informants are 14 people consisting of the Principal, 1 Catholic Religion Teacher, 6 parents and 6 students. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the model of Miles and Huberman which consists of three stages, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.

Pandemi covid-19 telah memaksa pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan cara berbeda. Siswa harus belajar dari rumah, sementara Sekolah dan guru harus menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Demikian pula orang tua harus berperan aktif melaksanakan pembelajaran dari rumah. Untuk itu, penulis melakukan penelitian terdahap upaya sekolah dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika upaya TK Isa Almasih mewujudkan kegiatan belajar pada masa pandemi covid-19 adalah 1) Merancang pembelajaran yang menstimulus siswa belajar sesuai dengan tema belajar dan efisien secara ekonomi; 2) Bekerjasama dengan orang tua murid dengan mengadakan pertemuan terbatas membahas perkembangan siswa; 3) Menggunakan sosial media untuk  menyampaikan informasi yang berkaitan dengan bahan ajar dan pemberitahuan hasil belajar murid. Sementara bentuk keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran dari rumah yaitu 1) Menjadi penuntun anak dalam belajar dari rumah; 2) Orang tua berperan menjadi operator. AbstractThe Covid-19 pandemic has forced learning to be carried out in a different way. Students must learn from home, while schools and teachers must organize effective learning. Likewise, parents must play an active role in carrying out learning from home. For this reason, the authors conducted research on school efforts and the involvement of parents in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews. The results showed that the efforts of Isa Almasih Kindergarten to realize learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic were 1) Designing learning that stimulates students to learn according to the learning theme and is economically efficient; 2) Collaborating with the parents by holding a limited meeting to discuss student development; 3) Using social media to convey information related to teaching materials and notification of student learning outcomes. While the forms of parental involvement in learning from home are 1) Being a guide for children in learning from home; 2) Parents act as operators.

Pada ranah pendidikan, setiap sekolah mengharapkan memiliki sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas sesuai dengan bidang yang diampu. Kemampuan setiap pendidik tentunya berbeda-beda hal tersebut menarik untuk dikaji, khususnya di MI Kalifah Nusantara Denpasar. Peserta didik di MI tersebut sudah kuliafied dan mampu membimbing dan membina siswa-siswanya, namun masih terdapat beberapa siswa kurang aktif dan menurun dalam hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, melalui kajian peran pendidik diharapkan dapat diketahui dan dijabarkan secara deskriftif kualitatif melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sehingga melalui analisis data berdasarkan teori-teori dan kajian terdahulu, diketahui bahwa peran pendidik sangat penting terhadap motivasi siswa melalui peningkatan kemampuan dan kinerja pendidik dengan mengikuti pelatihan, workshop, konseling siswa, dan pendekatan terhadap orangtua siswa.   AbstractIn the scope of education, every school expects to have quality human resources in accordance with the field being taught. The ability of each educator is certainly different, this is interesting to study, especially at MI Kalifah Nusantara Denpasar. The students are already educated and able to guide and nurture their students at MI, but there are some students who are less active and decline in student learning outcomes. Based on these conditions, aim of study in the role of educators, it is expected to be known and described in a qualitative descriptive manner through interviews and documentation. The data analysis based on theories and previous studies, it is known that the role of educators is very important to student motivation through improving the ability and performance of educators by participating in training, workshops, student counseling, and approaches to parents.

The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia in 2007 was 34 per 1000 live births, decreased in 2012 to 32 per 1000 live births. One of the causes of Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is incomplete basic immunization. The role of parents, especially maternal knowledge, is one of the factors in achieving complete basic immunization coverage rates. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about immunization and the completeness of immunization in babies aged 0-14 months in Talaka Village, Kab. Ma'rang, using analytical observation methods with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were mothers who had babies aged 0-14 months and . The sample was selected using a simple purpose sampling technique with a sample size of 62 respondents, data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi squere test. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about immunization and the completeness of immunization in babies aged 0-14 months In Talaka Village, Kab. Ma'rang with p value = 0.002.
