This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system for a goat farming business at Herman Farm using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The identified problems include manual transaction recording, stock management, and sales reporting processes, which are inefficient, prone to errors, and unable to provide real-time data access. The RAD method is selected due to its ability to accelerate system development through an iterative approach and active user involvement in each stage, including requirements planning, system design, construction, and implementation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and literature studies. The developed system provides features for managing goat data, sales transactions, customer management, and integrated sales reporting within a web-based platform. The results show that the system improves efficiency in data management and transaction processes, while producing more accurate, structured, and accessible reports. Therefore, this system can assist Herman Farm in optimizing its sales operations and expanding its online marketing reach.

Background: Automatic segmentation of the thyroid gland in ultrasonography (USG) images using deep learning requires a user-friendly interface to support diagnostic and educational processes. Purpose: This study aims to develop and implement a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that integrates a deep learning U-Net model for interactive and efficient segmentation and visualization of thyroid USG images. Method: The development method employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach using MATLAB programming language. The GUI is designed to load transverse and sagittal USG images, display automatic segmentation results, and calculate thyroid gland volume based on dimensions measured automatically from the segmentation output. Testing was conducted using USG image data from 15 volunteers, and GUI functionality was evaluated using black box testing. Result: The GUI successfully displayed USG images and segmentation results with a responsive 4-panel interface; zoom, pan, and image navigation features functioned well. Automatic segmentation occurred in real-time after image input, and volume measurement results appeared automatically. Black box testing evaluation showed all GUI features operated as expected. The average Dice Similarity Coefficient (DSC) of 0.91 indicates high performance of the U-Net model in thyroid segmentation, consistent with previous findings. Statistical testing confirmed no significant difference between volume measurements using the application and manual methods (p = 0.953). Conclusion: This GUI implementation facilitates users in performing deep learning-based segmentation and visualization of thyroid USG images, improving efficiency and accuracy in thyroid volume measurement. The GUI has potential applications in clinical practice and radiology education.

The development of information technology has encouraged improvements in public service quality, including at the village government level. In Sunggal Kanan Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, the process of submitting public complaints and aspirations is still carried out manually, resulting in issues related to documentation, transparency, and follow-up actions. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Village Public Complaint and Aspiration Information System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The RAD method was chosen because it emphasizes fast system development through iterative stages involving active user participation, namely Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction, and Cutover. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature studies. The developed system provides features such as user registration and login, complaint and aspiration submission forms, report status tracking, and an admin dashboard for managing and following up on reports. The results show that the system improves efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing public aspirations. Through this system, citizens can submit reports online without visiting the village office and monitor their report status in real time. The implementation of the RAD method proved effective in delivering a system that meets user needs within a relatively short development time.

In the era of digital transformation, the utilization of information technology in business activities has become an important factor in improving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Dzikri Baby Shop, a business engaged in the sale of baby equipment, still faces challenges in managing sales transactions and inventory manually, which may lead to recording errors, process delays, and less optimal customer service. This study aims to design and develop a sales information system for Dzikri Baby Shop to support digital transformation in its business processes. The system development method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD), as it enables software to be developed in a relatively short time through an iterative approach and active user involvement. The system developed includes product data management, sales transaction processing, inventory control, and report generation. The testing results using the Black Box Testing method show that all system features function in accordance with user requirements. Therefore, the implementation of this sales information system is expected to improve operational efficiency, accelerate transaction processes, minimize errors in data management, and enhance the quality of customer service.
