Background: Class II restoration according to the classification of Greene Vardiman Black is one of the procedures in dental conservation that often presents a challenge for operators or dentists during treatment. Class II restorations have their own level of difficulty, particularly during the placement of restorative materials into the cavity. One of the possible failures in Class II restorative treatment is marginal leakage, which can lead to microleakage at the restoration margins. Purpose: To report the success of class II restoration with composite resin using tofflmire matrix. Case report: A 23-year-old female patient came with a complaint of cavities, the complaint was felt since 1 year ago in the lower left back tooth, there was no pain and had never been treated. In the case, preparation and restoration were carried out using composite resin with isolation using tofflmire matrix, applied using an Incremental technique. Discussion: Class II posterior tooth restorations have challenges such as leakage due to the techniques and materials used. Composite resin is chosen because of its good adaptation, esthetics, and wear resistance. Incremental techniques are preferred because they reduce polymerization stress and provide optimal curing results. Tofflemire matrix is used for stability and soft tissue protection. Conclusion: The selection of composite resin with an Incremental technique and the use of a Tofflemire matrix provides more optimal, aesthetic, and minimal risk of failure results for class II posterior tooth restorations.

Many senior high school students face significant difficulties in generating ideas, organizing thoughts, and selecting appropriate vocabulary when writing descriptive texts. Traditional teaching methods often limit creativity, making the integration of visual media crucial. Therefore, this study aims to develop creative poster-based learning module for teaching descriptive writing. A Research and Development (R&D) design was employed, adapting the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. However, due to time constraints, this research is strictly limited to the Analysis (Needs Analysis) and the initial Development (Prototype Development) stages. The participants for the needs analysis consisted of 22 senior high school students in Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using an online needs analysis questionnaire. The findings indicate a strong student preference for visual support, which informed the design and creation of a poster-based learning module prototype intended to help students visualize concepts. The implications suggest that while the prototype aligns with student needs, further research is required to validate and test the product.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a crucial aspect in manufacturing industries due to the high risk of workplace accidents caused by heavy machinery, chemical substances, and intensive production activities. Companies usually provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as safety guidelines; however, SOPs are often delivered in long textual formats that are less engaging, making workers reluctant to read or difficult to understand quickly. This study aims to design an infographic-based SOP media as an effective visual communication tool to improve workers’ understanding of safety procedures. The research applies a qualitative method with a design approach through workplace observation, interviews with HSE personnel, literature review, and design validation using questionnaires. The results produce infographic media in the form of posters and signage presenting PPE usage procedures, hazard warnings, and evacuation steps using safety color codes, icons, and readable typography. The conclusion indicates that infographic SOP media is more effective than text-based SOP because it improves readability, comprehension, and workers’ memory of safety procedures.

Law Number 11 of 2006 on the Governance of Aceh embodies the principle of lex specialis due to its territorial scope, while Law Number 4 of 2009 on Mineral and Coal Mining also contains a lex specialis character as it specifically regulates the mining sector. This situation raises a legal question regarding how the principles of lex specialis derogat legi generali, lex superior derogat legi inferiori, and lex posterior derogat legi priori should be interpreted and applied by the Government within the framework of Aceh as a Special Autonomous Region. This study aims to conduct an in-depth legal analysis using a progressive law approach to examine whether the principles of lex posterior or lex superior may override the principle of lex specialis as applied in Aceh’s special autonomy regime. The research employs normative legal methods with qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that the principle of lex specialis derogat legi generali as stipulated in the Law on the Governance of Aceh must take precedence due to its specific territorial applicability and special autonomous status. In resolving such normative conflicts, a clear legal framework is required, accompanied by the renewal of legal theories and principles to ensure legal certainty, prevent regulatory overlap, and promote harmony among statutory regulations.

Hand washing is a major pillar in clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS). However, there are still children who do not understand the correct handwashing technique so that germ cleaning is not optimal. This community service activity aims to improve students' knowledge and motor skills in practicing the six steps of hand washing according to World Health Organization (WHO) standards. The method used in this activity is interactive counseling combined with live demonstrations. The stages of the activity include providing material through audiovisual media (video/poster), direct demonstrations by instructors, and independent practice by all participants. In addition, a question and answer session was held to ensure student understanding and corrective feedback on inappropriate movements. Evaluation instruments in the form of observation sheets were used to assess the accuracy of the sequence, duration, and coverage of the hand area when washing. The result of this activity was the success of all participants in practicing the six-step sequence of handwashing correctly independently. The involvement of teachers and school health workers also strengthens the sustainability of this practice through regular monitoring. Through this education, it is hoped that early awareness will arise which has become a routine habit to reduce the risk of disease transmission in the school and home environment and support the creation of a culture of clean living from an early age.

The waste problem is still an environmental issue that requires serious attention, especially regarding the low level of public awareness in sorting organic and inorganic waste at its source. Environmental education needs to be given from an early age to form attitudes and behavior that care for the environment in a sustainable manner. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding and awareness of grade III–IV elementary school children towards sorting organic and inorganic waste through a game-based learning approach. The activity was carried out in the Bojongsari area, Depok, involving 10 children as participants. The methods used include delivering interactive material, waste sorting competitions through the Eco-Race Little game, and making mini posters with environmental themes. The results of the activity showed that around 90% of participants were able to differentiate and sort organic and inorganic waste correctly. Apart from increasing cognitive understanding, this activity also fosters an attitude of cooperation, creativity and concern for the environment. Thus, the Little Eco-Race activity is considered effective as a fun and applicable environmental education model for elementary school age children.

Permanent tooth loss is a common oral health problem experienced by patients. This condition can be caused by pathological conditions such as tooth decay, leading to tooth extraction. Rehabilitation treatment for partial posterior tooth loss aims to restore masticatory function, maintain occlusal relationships and periodontal health, and improve aesthetics. A 34-year-old man came with a complaint that his lower right posterior tooth had been extracted and wanted a permanent dentures to replace his missing tooth. The intraoral and periapical radiograph examination revealed that 46 was missing, and 47 had enamel caries. The diagnosis for 46 was determined to be partial edentulous. The treatment plan was a PFM fixed-fixed bridge with a sanitary pontic for 46, a rigid connector, and a full crown retainer for 45 and 47. In this case, the choice of PFM bridge is based on several considerations, i.e., high chewing loads, relatively low cost, and high long-term success. The PFM bridge has been the primary choice for posterior tooth rehabilitation, due to its durability and cost-effectiveness.

Drug storage is not only carried out in health facilities but can also be done independently by the community that consumes drugs, either as an emergency supply or leftover medication from previous use. Drug storage is often done without paying attention to the condition after the packaging is opened or understanding the drug's usage limit/Beyond Use Date (BUD). The community generally only looks at the expiration date/Expired Date (ED) on the drug packaging as a reference for safe drug use, and does not understand the safe usage limit for drugs after the primary packaging is opened. The purpose of this community service is to evaluate the community's knowledge and practices regarding the implementation of BUD/ED, as well as to provide education. This community service was carried out with an educational approach involving 21 people in Rejosari Village. This activity was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the community about the knowledge and practice of BUD/ED daily, then continued with the delivery of education using posters. The results of this activity indicate that the community has good knowledge of ED and BUD, but has not yet implemented ED and BUD in the storage and use of drugs independently.
