. Public understanding of discourse embedded in children’s animated film scripts and their underlying purposes remains limited, resulting in low audience awareness of the implicit messages conveyed in meaning-laden children’s animations. The Loud House, broadcast by the children’s television network Nickelodeon, presents a relatively controversial theme by incorporating homosexual discourse, which is perceived as deviant behavior by certain segments of society. Based on this premise, this study examines the process through which homosexual behavior discourse is conveyed in The Loud House, addressing the research question: How is the discourse of homosexual behavior in The Loud House constructed in terms of textual messages, social cognition, and social context based on Teun A. Van Dijk’s discourse analysis framework?* This research adopts a qualitative approach using Van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis, which encompasses three analytical dimensions: text, social cognition, and social context. The findings indicate that homosexual discourse is represented through two supporting characters, Harold and Howard, depicted as a same-sex couple who adopt a young boy. These homosexual characters are deliberately framed with a positive image as caring and affectionate parents, comparable to the portrayal of heterosexual parents.

Nurses' caring behavior is a fundamental element in quality healthcare services. However, pressures such as high workload and burnout can hinder its implementation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between workload and burnout on the caring behavior of nurses in the Inpatient Ward of “X” Hospital. The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design, involving 96 practicing nurses through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Subjective Workload Assessment Technique (SWAT) questionnaire, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), and a caring behavior questionnaire based on Jean Watson's theory. The results showed that the workload (p<0.001) and burnout (p<0.001) variables have a significant negative relationship with caring behavior. Logistic regression analysis identified workload as the more dominant factor influencing caring behavior. Simultaneously, these two independent variables could explain 57.9% of the variance in nurses' caring behavior. This study concludes that an increase in workload and burnout levels significantly decreases nurses' caring behavior, making workload management a priority intervention to improve the quality of nursing care.

Teaching ethics and morals to children from an early age is essential to shape their character to become honest, responsible, and caring individuals for others. Children learn through their environment, whether at home, school, or in everyday social interactions. Therefore, parents and teachers need to use creative strategies to instill ethical and moral values. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study to analyze various sources about ethical and moral education in children. Some effective strategies that can be used include setting an example, accustoming children to good behavior, using stories to teach moral values, and involving children in interactive and technological activities. With the right approach, children can understand the difference between good and bad behavior, as well as build attitudes that conform to social norms. The hope is that they will grow into individuals with integrity, responsibility, and concern for others.

From Swanson’s Caring theory, one of the caring indicators can be taken, namely knowing, which is an effort to know and understand events in needs and expectations but focuses on patients. Not only knowing needs and expectations but also focusing on efficient and effective care and treatment. Poor knowing of patient care can cause infection transmission. Therefore, nurses are required to have knowledge and be able to prevent the risk of infection. From poor nurse caring, it is possible for nurses to be affected which can be detrimental to nurses. If nurses carry out service tasks in accordance with SOP, they can reduce the risk of infection at the standard level set in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine caring bahavior with preventing the risk of infection in hospitals. This study used a sampling technique using a total sampling of 100 respondents using the spearman rank test. The results of this study were that most nurses were female, 79 people (79%), 51 nurses (51%) had good caring behavior, 97 nurses (97%), and 98 nurses (98%) were high in preventing the risk of infection. Parents and other mental health stakeholders are becoming more concerned about emotional and behavioral disorders (EBPs) in teenagers. These issues, which typically arise in infancy or adolescence, have an impact on relationships, academic achievement, and other areas. They may even persist into adulthood as mental health disorders (MHD). Using the Pediatric Symptom Checklist (PSC-17) questionnaire, the risk of behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial disorders was assessed in this activity. It is anticipated that early detection—made possible by instruments like the PSC-17—will avert long-term issues brought on by behavioral, emotional, and psychological illnesses.
