Ulumul Quran merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu dalam studi Islam yang membahas segala sesuatu tentang Al-Qur’an, mulai dari proses turunnya wahyu, penulisan, pembacaan, penafsiran, hingga kandungan hukum yang terdapat di dalamnya. Kajian Ulumul Quran sangat penting karena membantu umat Islam memahami Al-Qur’an secara benar dan mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengertian Ulumul Quran, ruang lingkup kajiannya, serta peranannya dalam memahami kandungan Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi pustaka dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ulumul Quran memiliki kontribusi besar dalam membantu umat Islam memahami makna dan tujuan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an secara tepat sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

The Tandak Timang tradition in Batu Badinding Village, Central Katingan District, plays an important role in fostering the faith of children aged 1-5 years, which is carried out by parents. From an early age, children are introduced to faith values through Tandak Timang verses that contain advice, prayers, and praise to God. This study aims to (1) describe the role of parents in fostering the faith of children aged 1-5 years through the Tandak Timang tradition in Batu Badinding Village, Central Katingan District; and (2) describe the values implemented by parents for children aged 1-5 years in Batu Badinding Village, Central Katingan District. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation.The results show that Tandak Timang plays a significant role in shaping children's spiritual foundation. Parents' roles are manifested through daily practices, such as singing, storytelling, and rocking children while chanting verses in the Dayak Ngaju language. This practice not only builds strong emotional bonds but also serves as an effective medium for instilling noble values. These values include cultural values, moral and ethical values, ancestral values, and spiritual values that teach children about the importance of prayer and hope in God.The conclusion of this study is that parents act not only as cultural inheritors but also as educators, role models, and facilitators. They utilize intimate moments when putting children to sleep—through singing, storytelling, and rocking—to instill faith values. The strong physical and emotional interaction builds a solid bond, making it easier for children to accept and internalize a deep understanding of the teachings conveyed. The Tandak Timang tradition is rich in noble values that serve as the foundation for faith formation. These values include cultural values, moral and ethical values, ancestral values, and spiritual values. The suggestions put forward are that parents should further understand the meaning of Tandak Timang for fostering children's faith from an early age, and pass on and preserve the character of children through this Central Kalimantan Dayak culture. For subsequent researchers conducting similar studies, it is recommended to develop the research objectives and focus more specifically on the research topics.

Misi gereja tidak hanya terbatas pada penginjilan dan pelayanan sosial, tetapi juga mencakup pendidikan. Pendidikan Agama Kristen menjadi alat penting dalam mewujudkan misi tersebut. Tujuan dari Pendidikan Agama Kristen bukan sekadar menanamkan nilai keimanan, tetapi juga sebagai manifestasi nyata dari misi gereja di dunia. Artikel ini memahami misi gereja sebagai pemberitaan Injil, pemuridan, dan pelayanan kasih yang dapat direalisasikan melalui pendidikan, terutama melalui karakter dan spiritualitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memahami misi gereja dalam konteks pendidikan agama Kristen dengan metode studi pustaka dan analisis data deskriptif. Hasil studi pustaka menunjukkan bahwa makna misi gereja dalam konteks pendidikan agama Kristen dipengaruhi oleh peranan pendidikan agama Kristen dalam mendukung misi tersebut.

This paper was written with the aim of analyzing the role of stevedoring workers (TKBM) in loading and unloading activities carried out by the Loading and Unloading Company (PBM) FT. Gelora Perkasa Belawan. In collecting data, the author utilized two approaches, namely field research and library research. Labor efficiency is a key factor in increasing operational productivity in the port sector, however, various problems are often found such as delays, low productivity, and work inefficiencies caused by weak monitoring and performance monitoring systems. In this study, a qualitative approach was used through field methods and library methods, on the operational activities of TKBM in the company. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of structured work and periodic evaluations can improve work discipline, accelerate loading and unloading times, and reduce operational costs. In addition, the role of management in providing constructive feedback and periodic training has also proven effective in supporting labor efficiency. Thus, optimizing the role of TKBM will have a direct impact on improving the performance of PBM PT. Gelora Perkasa Belawan, which ultimately contributes to the smooth flow of goods and economic growth in the Belawan port area.

Cashier service plays a crucial role in cooperative operations as it is directly related to members’ financial transactions. Service quality contributes to member satisfaction and loyalty, which in turn affects cooperative performance. This study aims to evaluate the role of cashier services in cooperative performance and member satisfaction at the Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Credit Union Bahtera Sejahtera. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the cashier service system has generally been implemented well and is positively perceived by members. However, several constraints remain, particularly during peak service hours, including long waiting times caused by the limited number of cashier staff and overlapping responsibilities with customer service functions. These conditions reduce service responsiveness. Nevertheless, cashier services significantly contribute to enhancing member satisfaction and supporting cooperative performance through efficient financial transactions and increased member trust. Improvements in service efficiency and task allocation are therefore recommended to optimize cashier service quality.

Oil palm plantations constitute a leading subsector that plays a strategic role in regional economic development, particularly in Nagan Raya Regency, which is predominantly based on the agricultural sector. This study aims to analyze the role of the oil palm plantation subsector in promoting regional economic development using the Economic Base Theory as an analytical approach. A descriptive qualitative method with a literature study was employed. The data used consist of longitudinal secondary data for the period 2019–2024, sourced from official publications of Statistics Indonesia, regional development planning documents, and relevant scientific articles. The results show that the agricultural sector, dominated by the oil palm plantation subsector, makes a large and relatively stable contribution to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Nagan Raya Regency, thereby qualifying it as a basic sector. This subsector also plays an important role in employment absorption, particularly in rural areas. However, the substantial economic contribution and labor absorption have not been fully accompanied by equitable improvements in community welfare, as indicated by the relatively slow decline in poverty rates. This condition suggests that the economic multiplier effect of the oil palm plantation subsector has not yet been optimal due to limited downstream activities and low value-added processing at the regional level. The study concludes that strengthening downstream industries and intersectoral linkages is necessary to ensure that the role of oil palm plantations can more effectively support inclusive and sustainable regional economic development.

This research focuses on comprehensive analysis of the crucial role of English proficiency as a vital instrument in enhancing the holistic communication competence of English Literature students amdist the dynamics of globalization. Utilizing a literature study research method trough a systematic review of various scholarly references, academic journals, and empirical findings, this study evaluates interaction barries such as limited vocabulary, syntatic complexity, and psychological constraints including low self confidence. The findjngs demonstrate that proficient language mastery is directly proportional to the improvement of critical literary work analysis and active participation in broader academic discourse. Furthermore, this study confirms that the implementation of interactive active learning methodologies such as role playing, thematic debates, and collaborative presentations integrated with cutting edge technology acts as a primary catalyst. These strategies not only mitigate communicative barriers but also substantially enhance self directed learning efficiency and career readiness in multilingual professional environment. Ultimately, this research offers a new theoretical contribution to higher education curriculum roadmaps that are more adaptive, responsive, and outcome oriented for learners domestically and internationally. Through this approach, educational institutions are expected to produce competitive graduates ready to face the dynamic challenges of the rapidly evolving global stage.

This study examines the role of agents in the renewal process of cargo ship construction safety certificates at the Merak Banten Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP), using a case study of PT. Vinici Samudera Agencies, Merak Branch. The study aimed to determine the role of agency companies in assisting shipowners in fulfilling certification obligations and to examine certificate renewal procedures in accordance with legal provisions and shipping safety standards. The research methods employed included a field approach through direct observation, interviews, and a literature review of relevant literature, regulations, and official documents. Based on the research findings, PT. Vinici Samudera Agencies plays a significant role in processing shipping administrative documents, coordinating with the KSOP, ensuring compliance with applicable legal provisions, and providing technical guidance to ensure ships remain seaworthy. The agency's role has been proven to increase time efficiency, reduce the risk of delays, and provide legal certainty in the certificate renewal process. Therefore, the presence of ship agents is a strategic factor in supporting the smooth operation of cargo ships at the Port of Merak.

This research aimed to analyze the role of the secretariat in maximizing office administrative service funtions within the secretariat division of the departement of trade, industry, and cooperatives and SMEs of sikka regency. This research used a qualitative approach with data colletion techniques including interviews, observations, and document studies. The key informant in this research was the head of the secretariat division. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data colletion, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the secretriat has carried out office administrative functions systematically and in a structured manner, covering routine, technical, analytical, interpersonal, and managerial functions. The management of correspondence and archives has been implemented following the established procedures, although it remained largely manual and faced challenges such as delays in letter numbering and limited supporting facilities. The utilization of information technology through the srikandi application has proven to improve work efficiency, however, it still requires enhanced human resource competencies and stronger technological infrastructure support. In terms of analysis and reporting, the secretariat played an important role in preparing administrativereports and providing accurate data to support managerial decision-making. Furthermore, the secretariat also held a strategic role in fostering coordination, communication, and harmonious working relationships within the organization.

This study aims to analyze the role of the tally man at PT. Gelora Perkasa Belawan in supporting the effectiveness and smoothness of loading and unloading processes at Belawan Port. As the front line in cargo supervision, the tally man bears a crucial responsibility for recording the quantity, condition, and types of goods, which serve as the primary data for company reports. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques involving field observations, interviews with operational staff, and literature reviews conducted during the internship period. The findings indicate that while the tally man performs a vital function as a supervisor and data recorder, their performance is often hindered by high workloads and a limited number of personnel. The main obstacles identified include dual responsibilities, which lead to decreased data accuracy and risks of operational delays due to physical fatigue. Optimization efforts are carried out by increasing personnel during peak hours and improving accuracy in validating cargo documents. The study concludes that strengthening the tally man's role through better workload management is essential for ensuring logistical reliability and the efficient flow of goods at the port.

This study examines the role of communication in agency services to improve shipowner satisfaction at PT. Gemalindo Sukses Bahari in Dumai. As a company engaged in the field of ship agency, PT. Gemalindo Sukses Bahari has an important responsibility in establishing effective communication with shipowners to ensure smooth operations and satisfactory service. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the communication strategy implemented by the company can affect the level of satisfaction of shipowners, as well as to identify the communication factors that are most influential in building professional and trustworthy working relationships. The research method used is a qualitative approach with research data obtained through interviews, observations, and document reviews. The findings indicate that transparent, responsive, and informative communication between agents and shipowners has a significant influence on increasing customer satisfaction. In addition, the use of appropriate communication media, timeliness in delivering information, and the agent's interpersonal skills are key elements in maintaining harmonious working relationships. This study concludes that effective communication is the main foundation for the success of ship agency services and has a direct impact on shipowner satisfaction and loyalty.

The flood disaster that hit Medan City caused a multidimensional impact on the community, especially the psychological impact experienced by the victims. In addition to material losses, flood victims often face emotional distress in the form of anxiety, stress, trauma, and a sense of loss. This study aims to examine the role and effectiveness of individual counseling in dealing with the psychological problems of post-flood victims. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of victims who receive individual counseling services. The results show that individual counseling plays an important role in helping victims understand their emotional state, manage stress, and rebuild hope and resilience after disasters. Individualized counseling also provides a safe space for victims to express their feelings, gain support, and develop adaptive strategies in dealing with trauma. These findings confirm that psychological interventions based on individual counseling can be one of the effective approaches in disaster victim recovery, especially floods, so that it can strengthen psychosocial aspects and improve the quality of life after disasters. Thus, this research contributes to the development of more responsive and sustainable counseling services in the context of disaster management in Indonesia.
