This study aims to design, implement, and test a prototype that automates three functions, namely watering, fertilizing, and pest control based on Arduino Uno with the ability to directly monitor soil moisture and pH. This system is equipped with four main types of sensors. Soil condition monitoring involves an FC-28 soil moisture sensor and a soil pH sensor, water level measurement involves an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, and pest detection in the plant area involves a RIP sensor. All data obtained from these sensors is then processed by the Arduino Uno microcontroller to automatically activate actuators such as water pumps, liquid fertilizer pumps, buzzers, and DC motors according to soil conditions and plant needs. Prototype testing was conducted on simulated land with various scenarios of moisture, soil pH, and pest activity. The test results revealed that the system was proven to be able to significantly optimize water and fertilizer utilization, as well as reduce pest disturbances that could potentially damage plants.  In addition, this system also displays the operational status directly through an LCD screen, making it easy for users to monitor. The advantage of this system is its multi-function integration in a single device that is cost-effective and easy to operate. In the future, the functionality of this system can be improved through integration with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, enabling remote monitoring and control with greater efficiency. More broadly, this study is expected to support increased production and sustainable agricultural practices in Indonesia.

Appropriate technology innovation (TTG) in agriculture is an important solution in improving farmers' work efficiency, especially in the fertilization process. In Pamotan Village, where the majority of the population are tobacco farmers, the fertilization method is still done manually by sowing on the soil surface. This method often causes uneven distribution of fertilizer, wastage of energy and time, and a lot of fertilizer lost by water or wind. This community service activity aims to introduce a manual fertilizer sowing tool made from PVC as a simple, cheap, and easy-to-use solution for farmers. The implementation method includes counseling, tool demonstration, and direct training to farmer groups as activity partners. Evaluation was conducted through observation and questionnaires before and after the activity. The results showed an increase in farmers' understanding of efficient fertilization, as well as a positive response to the tools that were considered practical and economical. The use of this seedling tool can save up to 30% fertilizer and speed up the fertilization process by 40%. Thus, this manual fertilizer seedling tool is effective in helping farmers improve work efficiency and productivity, and is very suitable for small-scale farmers in rural areas.

Pemupukan merupakan kegiatan penting dalam budidaya pertanian yang memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman melalui penyediaan unsur hara yang diperlukan.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas pupuk majemuk tinggi kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman wortel serta efektivitas agronominya.  Perlakuan disusun dalam 7 taraf pemupukan yaitu : tanpa pupuk (P0), pemupukan standar pembanding (P1), 0.5 dosis pupuk majemuk tinggi kalium (P2), 0.75 dosis pupuk majemuk tinggi kalium (P3), 1 dosis pupuk majemuk tinggi kalium (P4), 1.25 dosis pupuk majemuk tinggi kalium (P5), 1.5 dosis pupuk majemuk tinggi kalium (P6). Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian 1.0 dosis pupuk majemuk tinggi kaliummenghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman (tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun), komponen hasil dan hasil tanaman wortel (panjang umbi, diameter umbi, hasil/tanaman, hasil/petak, dan hasil/ha) tertinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya dan nyata lebih baik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol.  Pupuk  majemuk tinggi kalium lulus uji efektivitas lapangan. Dosis yang direkomendasikan untuk tanaman wortel adalah 187 kg/ha yang  diaplikasikan 2 kali, 50% dosis pada 1 minggu setelah tanam (MST) dan sisanya diaplikasikan pada 4 MST.

The classical mastery score of Grade XI ATPH 3 students at SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari in the fertilization element of fertilization techniques subject for the 2024/2025 academic year, did not meet the minimum required standard. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in improving student learning outcomes in the fertilization element of the fertilization techniques subject. The classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Based on data analysis and reflection, it was concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL)method effectively improved the learning outcomes of Grade XI ATPH 3 students at SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari. In the first cycle, the student mastery was 30.30% with an average score of 61.82, while in the second cycle, mastery increased to 75.76% with an average score of 81.21.

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of fertilizer extension and fertilization in the women's farmer group "Cerdas" in Lawelu Village, Ulumoro'o District, West Nias Regency. The research method used a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, structured interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that 75% of respondents experienced an increase in understanding of fertilizer types, doses, and application times after counseling. However, implementation in the field is still constrained by limited access to subsidized fertilizer (60% of respondents). The conclusion of this study states that extension is effective in improving knowledge but requires policy support to improve fertilizer accessibility.

Tebes Lues Village, located in a mountainous area, holds great potential as a production center for high-quality Arabica coffee. Coffee products from this village have been recognized in various local and international markets, known for their distinctive aroma and unique taste. Nevertheless, the productivity and quality of coffee in Tebes Lues Village can still be improved through the improvement of more modern and targeted cultivation techniques, one of which is through the application of proper pruning and fertilization techniques. This study aims to look at the types of pruning and fertilization carried out in Tebes Lues village as an effort to increase Arabica coffee production. The research was conducted with descriptive method by making a questionnaire containing interview questions to get info from respondents (farmers) related. The results of this study obtained that the type of pruning done by tebes lues village farmers is production pruning and branch pruning (Bayonet) and treatment of roots by doing mechanical processing. Fertilizers used by farmers in an organic way are SS, Phoska, ZA and Urea while organic fertilizers used are coffee skin, livestock manure, coffee skin pulp. Coffee production increased for farmers who pruned and fertilized intensively and periodically.

Fruit cultivation plays a crucial role in the agricultural economy, where seed quality significantly impacts productivity. Watering and fertilizing fruit plant seedlings are key aspects of ensuring healthy growth. To meet the demands of modern agriculture, an automated solution has been developed utilizing messaging application-based technology, such as Telegram. This device enables remote control of watering and fertilizing processes via the Telegram bot feature, ensuring precision and convenience. Advantages include time efficiency, optimal fertilization, and precise watering, supported by light sensors and soil moisture sensors to enhance the process. Experimental results show that this technology successfully addresses challenges related to irregular watering and fertilization. Consequently, this automated system has the potential to enhance productivity and efficiency in fruit cultivation.

Ikan cupang merupakan salah satu komoditas ikan hias air tawar yang banyak diminati baik di pasar domestik maupun internasional (ekspor). Waktu yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah tanggal 13 Oktober 2022 Lokasi penelitian ini berada di Medan Johar. Pemijahan ikan cupang diawali dengan perawatan ikan cupang jantan yaitu mengeluarkan busa dari mulutnya kemudian diletakkan di permukaan sebagai sarang untuk bertelur. Setelah itu sang jantan akan mencari betina yang siap dijadikan indukan. mitra. Setelah ikan jantan mendapatkan pasangan yang cocok, ikan betina akan melepaskan sel telur yang diikuti dengan keluarnya sel sperma oleh ikan jantan. Telur yang telah dibuahi akan dibawa oleh pejantan ke buih yang ada di permukaan. Pada masa hingga menetas, ikan jantan akan menjaga telur-telur tersebut hingga benar-benar menetas. Bahkan hingga anakan cupang mandiri. Jika ada buih yang pecah maka mereka akan segera membuat buih yang sama agar telur benar-benar bisa menetas. Daun ketapang mengandung senyawa aktif berupa antosianin dan tanin, namun pigmen tanin lebih dominan yang berpotensi menjadi sumber zat warna. Kandungan tanin pada ketapang dapat menghasilkan warna coklat, sedangkan antosianin menghasilkan warna merah. Penggunaan daun ketapang dapat menurunkan pH air sekitar 5 pH dan membuat air menjadi lebih gelap dan kondisi ini dapat membantu reproduksi ikan.
