Breastfeeding should ideally begin immediately after birth and be provided exclusively for the first six months of life. However, in 2022, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding among infants aged 0–6 months in Jayapura was only 21%, which remains far below the national target of 45%. Various factors contribute to this low coverage, including limited knowledge, lack of experience, insufficient support systems, and concerns among adolescent mothers that breastfeeding may interfere with their education or employment. This study aimed to explore the breastfeeding experiences of adolescent mothers in Wahno Village, Abepura Subdistrict. A qualitative research design was used, with structured interviews conducted using a questionnaire. The results indicated that the initiation of exclusive breastfeeding among adolescent mothers was generally positive. Participants reported mixed emotional experiences, including feelings of happiness, pride, stress, and discomfort. Family support, particularly from husbands, played an important role in sustaining breastfeeding practices. Most respondents also demonstrated adequate knowledge regarding how to manage breastfeeding-related challenges. Overall, adolescent mothers in Wahno Village showed a reasonable level of understanding and commitment toward exclusive breastfeeding. Continued education and support are recommended to further strengthen breastfeeding practices among adolescent mothers and their families.

Children with special needs, particularly those with intellectual disabilities, often experience difficulties in emotional development, communication skills, and social interaction. These conditions may make it challenging for them to express their feelings, regulate their emotions, and adapt to their surroundings. Based on observations conducted at SLBN Pembina Kupang, several children were found to be easily angered, lacking in self-confidence, and experiencing difficulties in social interaction. The implementation of this program consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The program began with coordination with the school, the preparation of coloring materials and equipment, and the selection of participants. Subsequently, the children participated in play therapy through coloring activities under the guidance of the service team and teachers. Evaluation was carried out by observing the children's participation, changes in emotional expression, and social interaction skills throughout the activities. The results showed that play therapy through coloring activities had a positive impact on the children's emotional development. The children became calmer, more confident, and better able to express their feelings. In addition, the activities helped improve their social skills, cooperation, concentration, discipline, and fine motor skills. Therefore, play therapy through coloring activities can serve as an effective, simple, and sustainable intervention to support the emotional development of children with special needs at SLBN Pembina Kupang.

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi kepala Madrasah dan pelaksaaan Supervisi di MAN I Jembrana dalam merancang strategi dan pelaksaan supervisi yang efektif guna meningkatkan kinerja pendidik agar proses pembelajaran berjalan profesional dan bermakna. Tujuannya: (1) mengetahui strategi Kepala Madrasah dan pelaksaan Supervisi kepala Madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja pendidik di MAN I Jembrana, (2) menelaah sejauh mana strategi kepala Madrasah dan pelaksaan Supervisi kepala madrasah tersebut berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja pendidik, dan (3) mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat serta solusi yang ditempuh. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif naratif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan triangulasi untuk uji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Strategi Kepala Madrasah dan Pelaksanaan Supervisi kepala madrasah  dilakukan melalui pemberian motivasi, keteladanan, pelatihan, serta komunikasi harmonis. (2) Strategi Kepala Madrasah dan Pelaksaaan Supervisi kepala madrasah terbukti meningkatkan variasi metode pembelajaran, keterlibatan guru dalam kegiatan Madrasah, serta hasil belajar siswa. (3) Hambatan yang muncul antara lain keterbatasan waktu guru dan kurangnya proaktivitas sebagian pendidik. Solusi yang ditempuh berupa pembinaan berkelanjutan dan dorongan untuk terus berinovasi. Dengan demikian, strategi Kepala Madrasah dan Pelaksanaan Supervisi kepala madrasah berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kinerja pendidik dan mutu pembelajaran di madrasah.

The rapid development of information technology has created new challenges for military organizations, including the increasing accessibility of online gambling among military personnel. This study aims to analyze the optimization of mental development programs for Indonesian Navy personnel at the Naval Academy as an effort to prevent online gambling behavior. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. Data were collected from military leaders, military police personnel, mental development officers, and Naval Academy personnel. The findings indicate that mental development programs have been implemented through religious guidance, counseling, lectures, and character-building activities, which generally receive positive responses from personnel. However, several obstacles remain, including limited participation due to operational activities, rapid technological advancement, easy internet access, and the absence of specific educational materials concerning online gambling. Factors influencing personnel involvement in online gambling include low self-control, unproductive use of leisure time, environmental influences, and personal economic problems. The study concludes that mental development can effectively prevent online gambling when implemented continuously, supported by leadership involvement, digital literacy enhancement, supervision of technology use, and specific educational materials addressing the dangers of online gambling.

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in fostering adolescents' moral development and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process in Karya Jaya Village, Buton Regency. This research is motivated by the importance of adolescence as a critical developmental stage that is highly vulnerable to environmental influences, thus requiring optimal moral guidance, especially from the family as the first and primary educational institution. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consist of 30 parents and adolescents selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain in-depth and comprehensive data. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that parents play a significant role in moral development through role modeling, habituation of moral and religious values, effective communication, and supervision of adolescents' behavior in daily life. Parental role modeling is a key factor in shaping adolescents’ moral behavior, as adolescents tend to imitate what they observe within the family environment. Supporting factors include harmonious family conditions, active parental involvement, and a positive social environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include parents' busyness, lack of supervision, and the influence of technology and peer environment. Therefore, the role of parents is crucial in shaping positive moral behavior among adolescents.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi manajemen kesiswaan berbasis nilai Kristiani serta kontribusinya terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik dalam lingkungan pendidikan multikultural di SDS Unity Primary School. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada meningkatnya kompleksitas keberagaman di lingkungan sekolah yang menuntut adanya pengelolaan peserta didik yang tidak hanya berorientasi administratif, tetapi juga mampu membangun sikap toleransi, penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, dan karakter yang kuat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi sekolah, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan kerangka SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan di SDS Unity Primary School diimplementasikan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Kristiani, seperti kasih, integritas, tanggung jawab, kerendahan hati, dan pelayanan ke dalam berbagai kebijakan dan program kesiswaan. Keberagaman peserta didik yang terdiri atas berbagai agama dan etnis dikelola melalui pendekatan inklusif yang mendorong interaksi lintas budaya dan lintas agama. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa identitas spiritual sekolah, program pembinaan rohani, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta dukungan orang tua menjadi kekuatan utama dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Di sisi lain, keterbatasan pembina rohani dan tantangan sekularisasi menjadi faktor yang perlu diantisipasi. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa harmonisasi program kerohanian, ekstrakurikuler, dan program anti-perundungan berbasis pendekatan restoratif berkontribusi terhadap terciptanya iklim sekolah yang aman, toleran, dan harmonis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi manajemen kesiswaan berbasis nilai Kristiani efektif mendukung pembentukan karakter peserta didik serta dapat menjadi model pengelolaan pendidikan multikultural yang inklusif dan berorientasi pada pengembangan karakter secara holistik.

This study aims to analyze the relevance of Robert Raikes' Christian educational thinking to the character formation of children in contemporary Sunday School services. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were obtained from various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, and research articles related to Christian education, character education, and the history of Sunday School development. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, grouping themes, interpretation, and drawing conclusions using descriptive qualitative methods. The results show that Robert Raikes' thoughts remain relevant in modern Christian education, especially in the formation of children's character through the teaching of God's Word, discipline, role models, and the instilling of Christian values. Sunday School plays an important role as a means of fostering faith, morality, and social responsibility in children from an early age. In addition, the challenges of the digital era require churches to develop more creative, interactive, and contextual learning methods without abandoning the basic values ​​of the Christian faith. This study confirms that the success of children's character formation depends not only on the church, but also on the role of Sunday School teachers and families who work together to build a conducive spiritual environment. Thus, Robert Raikes' thinking makes an important contribution to the development of Christian education that is relevant in the modern era.

The Tandak Timang tradition in Batu Badinding Village, Central Katingan District, plays an important role in fostering the faith of children aged 1-5 years, which is carried out by parents. From an early age, children are introduced to faith values through Tandak Timang verses that contain advice, prayers, and praise to God. This study aims to (1) describe the role of parents in fostering the faith of children aged 1-5 years through the Tandak Timang tradition in Batu Badinding Village, Central Katingan District; and (2) describe the values implemented by parents for children aged 1-5 years in Batu Badinding Village, Central Katingan District. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation.The results show that Tandak Timang plays a significant role in shaping children's spiritual foundation. Parents' roles are manifested through daily practices, such as singing, storytelling, and rocking children while chanting verses in the Dayak Ngaju language. This practice not only builds strong emotional bonds but also serves as an effective medium for instilling noble values. These values include cultural values, moral and ethical values, ancestral values, and spiritual values that teach children about the importance of prayer and hope in God.The conclusion of this study is that parents act not only as cultural inheritors but also as educators, role models, and facilitators. They utilize intimate moments when putting children to sleep—through singing, storytelling, and rocking—to instill faith values. The strong physical and emotional interaction builds a solid bond, making it easier for children to accept and internalize a deep understanding of the teachings conveyed. The Tandak Timang tradition is rich in noble values that serve as the foundation for faith formation. These values include cultural values, moral and ethical values, ancestral values, and spiritual values. The suggestions put forward are that parents should further understand the meaning of Tandak Timang for fostering children's faith from an early age, and pass on and preserve the character of children through this Central Kalimantan Dayak culture. For subsequent researchers conducting similar studies, it is recommended to develop the research objectives and focus more specifically on the research topics.

Kenakalan remaja merupakan fenomena sosial yang semakin kompleks dan menjadi tantangan serius dalam kehidupan masyarakat, khususnya di lingkungan panti sosial pelayanan anak. Berbagai bentuk kenakalan remaja seperti pelanggaran tata tertib, pergaulan bebas, penyalahgunaan media digital, hingga tindakan yang berpotensi melanggar hukum menunjukkan pentingnya pembinaan karakter dan kesadaran hukum sejak dini. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang norma hukum, lemahnya kontrol diri, serta pengaruh lingkungan sosial menjadi faktor yang mendorong terjadinya perilaku menyimpang pada remaja. Kegiatan penyuluhan hukum yang dilaksanakan oleh Fakultas Hukum Universitas 17 Agustus (UNTAG) Semarang di Panti Sosial Pelayanan Anak Tawangmangu, Karanganyar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum, membangun karakter positif, serta memberikan pemahaman kepada remaja mengenai konsekuensi hukum dari setiap tindakan yang dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan simulasi kasus sederhana yang dekat dengan kehidupan remaja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan hukum mampu meningkatkan pemahaman remaja terhadap norma hukum dan sosial, menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya perilaku disiplin dan tanggung jawab, serta mendorong terbentuknya sikap preventif terhadap tindakan kenakalan. Dengan demikian, penyuluhan hukum menjadi salah satu strategi efektif dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan kenakalan remaja melalui pembinaan kesadaran hukum dan penguatan karakter sejak usia dini.

Artikel ini bertolak dari kenyataan bahwa banyak umat telah mendengar sabda Allah dalam Liturgi dan pengajaran Gereja, namun belum sepenuhnya menghidupinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Situasi ini menegaskan pentingnya katekese sebagai proses pembinaan iman yang berkelanjutan, yang tidak hanya menekankan aspek pengetahuan, tetapi juga penghayatan dan perwujutan iman dalam tindakan nyata. Tulisan ini bertujuan merefleksikan katekese sebagai jalan pembinaan iman umat yang menuntun dari sabda menuju kehidupan. Fokus kajian artikel ini adalah peran katekese dalam membantu umat dewasa mengintegrasikan sabda Allah kedalam realitas hidup sehari-hari, baik dalam keluarga, pekerjaan, maupun kehidupan sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah refleksi teologis pastoral dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur gereja dan pengalaman hidup umat. Pendekatan ini menekankan ketertarikan antara pewartaan sabda, pendampingan iman, serta partisiasi aktif umat dalam proses pembinaan. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa katekese yang kontekstual, dialogis, dan berpusat pada sabda Allah, mampu menumbuhkan iman yang lebih dewasa, sadar, dan tanggung jawab. Melalui katekese, umat tidak hanya memahami ajran iman secara intelektual, tetapi juga didorong untuk menghidupinya dalam sikap kasih, pelayanan, dan kesaksian di tengah masyarakat. Pembinaan iman yang berkelanjutan menjadi sarana penting untuk membentuk umat yang tangguh dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman dan tetap berakar pada nilai-nilai injil. Dengan demikian, katekese sebagai jalan pembinaan iman memiliki peran strategis dalam menjembatani sabda Allah dengan kehidupan konkrit umat. Pembaharuan metode dan pendekatan katekese yang relevan dengan konteks umat masa kini sangat diperlukan agar proses dari sabda menuju kehidupan dapat berlangsung secara nyata, mendalam, dan berkelanjutan dalam kehidupan Gereja. This research is motivated by the complex problems of street children, vagrants, and beggars in Jambi City, which are influenced by poverty, urbanization, and weak social protection. This phenomenon not only impacts public order but also reflects the suboptimal social welfare system at the regional level. Although local governments have implemented various policies through social order and rehabilitation approaches, their effectiveness still faces various structural and cultural challenges. This study uses Bryson's Policy Implementation Mapping theoretical framework, which includes indicators of interests, resources, channels, potential participation, level of influence, implications, and actions as the main analysis. The research approach used is a qualitative case study design to understand the dynamics of policy implementation in depth. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, with informants selected using purposive sampling until data saturation was achieved. The results show that policy implementation mapping has been carried out through collaboration between the Social Service and the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) with a structured preventive, repressive, and rehabilitative approach. However, implementation has not been optimal due to limited rehabilitation facilities, lack of coordination between agencies, low community participation, and high mobility of beggars from outside the region. Furthermore, there is a gap between high administrative achievements and the reality on the ground, which still shows a high rate of returning to the streets. This study concludes that mapping policy implementation requires a more holistic, sustainable approach based on economic empowerment and strengthened cross-sectoral coordination to address this social issue more effectively and effectively.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pembinaan Rohani itu bisa dipakai dan diterapkan dalam Kelompok Sel. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data primer dan sekunder. Data primer dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Data sekunder dilakukan dengan studi dokumentasi. Narasumber penelitian berjumlah 20 orang dengan rentang usia 29 tahun sampai dengan 65 tahun dalam Kelompok Sel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembinaan rohani di kelompok sel telah membantu anggota untuk bertumbuh secara rohani dan menjaga stamina roh anggota. Selanjutnya, pembinaan rohani berdasarkan Kitab Kisah Para Rasul 4 : 23-31 dalam Kelompok Sel selanjutnya memunculkan nilai-nilai yang diajarkan dalam Kisah Para Rasul 4:23-31 sangat relevan untuk diterapkan dalam kelompok sel. Melalui kesatuan dalam doa, keberanian untuk bersaksi, mengandalkan Tuhan dalam setiap tantangan, berserah sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan, saling menguatkan, dan memiliki mental pemenang, kelompok sel menjadi tempat di mana setiap anggota dapat bertumbuh dalam iman, mengalami kuasa Tuhan, dan siap diutus untuk memberitakan Firman Tuhan kepada dunia. Sementara itu, pembinaan rohani dalam kelompok sel memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keimanan dan tindakan anggota. Selain mendalami Firman Tuhan, kelompok sel mendorong penerapan ajaran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam hubungan antar sesama. Anggota diajarkan untuk mengampuni, mengasihi, dan menjaga hati, serta terbuka dalam memperbaiki hubungan yang rusak.

In the face of Indonesia’s escalating family crises amid rapid digital disruption and post-pandemic social recovery, this study proposes a novel “Dual-Ethos Synergy Model” that integrates the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) with the second principle of Pancasila, namely “Just and Civilized Humanity.” The study is grounded in qualitative fieldwork conducted at Gereja Bethel Indonesia Pemulihan Keluarga Allah (GBI PKA). The findings demonstrate that the integration of Christian spiritual values and civic ethics fosters restorative character formation within families and church communities. This synergy produces practical outcomes, including stronger empathy in community service, improved interpersonal relationships, and more constructive conflict resolution practices. Using data gathered through nine in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis, the study addresses existing gaps in urban church discipleship by combining spiritual transformation with social responsibility and civic engagement. The proposed model also offers implications for scalable digital-hybrid ministry programs focused on family restoration and contributes to the development of contextual theological praxis within pluralistic and multicultural societies. Limitations of the study and recommendations for future research are also discussed.

This study aims to analyze the management of Ikhwanul Ikhlas Wisata Travel in Medan in terms of pilgrim recruitment processes, manasik guidance patterns, assistance systems in the Holy Land, as well as indicators and evaluation of customer satisfaction. The background of this study is based on the increasing competition among Umrah travel agencies, which requires professional, transparent, and customer-oriented services to build trust and loyalty. In this context, Ikhwanul Ikhlas Wisata becomes an interesting case due to its consistency in guiding pilgrims from the initial stage to post-return.This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three key informants representing management, the company director, and marketing personnel. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of Umrah travel management practices.The findings reveal that Ikhwanul Ikhlas Wisata implements a recruitment system that emphasizes transparency in package information, costs, facilities, and departure schedules. Manasik guidance is conducted through both theoretical and practical sessions on a regular basis and supported by competent tour leaders and mutawwif. Customer satisfaction is measured through indicators such as repeat participation, recommendations to family or relatives, and post-return testimonials. The evaluation of satisfaction is utilized as a foundation for continuous improvement in recruitment strategies, guidance patterns, and service quality.

Community service is an integral part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aimed at providing tangible contributions to society. This activity was carried out in the form of a training program for the development of paripurna mosque imams across Pekanbaru City, focusing on improving the competencies of imams in both religious practices and the understanding of Islamic economics. The background of this activity is based on the existing gaps in imam quality, the lack of integrated training programs, and the increasing demands placed on the role of imams in society. The methods used in this program included observation, interviews, and the implementation of direct training sessions in mosques. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of the strategic role of imams as well as their literacy in Islamic economics. In addition, this program also strengthened the role of mosques as centers of worship, education, social engagement, and community-based economic development.This activity is expected to serve as an initial step toward developing professional, ethical, and competent mosque imams who are capable of addressing the challenges of modern society.

This community service program aims to improve the Islamic character and morals of adolescents through religious development activities based on active community participation. This program is implemented using an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach that emphasizes the utilization of local assets and potential, such as support from religious leaders, mosque facilities, and youth enthusiasm. The implementation method includes observation, participatory planning, implementation of development activities such as prayers, religious sermons, and worship habits, as well as joint evaluation. The results of the activities show an increase in adolescent participation in religious activities, changes in behavior towards a more positive direction, and increased spiritual and social awareness. In addition, this activity has an impact on strengthening community solidarity and creating a more religious and harmonious environment. Thus, the ABCD approach is effective in optimizing local potential to support the development of Islamic character in adolescents in a sustainable manner.

This community service program aims to improve the Islamic character and morals of adolescents through religious development activities based on active community participation. This program is implemented using an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach that emphasizes the utilization of local assets and potential, such as support from religious leaders, mosque facilities, and youth enthusiasm. The implementation method includes observation, participatory planning, implementation of development activities such as prayers, religious sermons, and worship habits, as well as joint evaluation. The results of the activities show an increase in adolescent participation in religious activities, changes in behavior towards a more positive direction, and increased spiritual and social awareness. Texts depicting violence in the Old Testament, particularly Joshua 6:1–27, are often cited as evidence that the Bible legitimizes divine violence and genocide. This study aims to analyze the narrative of the conquest of Jericho through a historical-critical approach by integrating narrative structure analysis, historical-religious context, and a conceptual study of herem. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach that situates the text within the context of the Ancient Near East. The results of the study indicate that Joshua 6 is a systematically constructed theological narrative intended to affirm YHWH’s sovereignty as the Warrior-God and His faithfulness to the covenant with Israel. The concept of herem does not merely signify annihilation but functions as a mechanism for the sanctification of the people and the affirmation of covenantal identity in the face of the threat of syncretism. Furthermore, the use of war language in this text reflects the hyperbolic rhetoric characteristic of ancient literature, and thus cannot be read literally as a legitimization of modern violence. Consequently, a historical-critical reading affirms that this narrative is not a justification for genocide, but rather a theological construction that serves to shape the identity of faith and the understanding of God’s holiness and sovereignty in the history of Israel.

This study aims to analyze the development of human resources in relation to the assessment center for Civil Servants (PNS) at the Karas District Office, Fakfak Regency. The objectives of this study are to determine the effect of human resource development on the assessment center, and to identify the human resource development variables that most dominantly influence the PNS assessment center. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods including interviews, observations, questionnaires, surveys, and experiments. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to explain the relationship between human resource development and the assessment center. The qualitative analysis results show that PNS at the Department of Mining and Energy, Fakfak Regency, who hold Echelon IV/a structural positions, number 15 people (0.71%), while PNS with the rank of Pembina Level I/IV/b number 5 people (0.24%). Based on gender, the majority of PNS are male (15 people or 0.71%) who have participated in human resource development through career development. PNS with a Bachelor's degree (S-1) number 11 people (0.52%), and those aged 41-50 years and over 50 years number 12 people (0.57%).

Considering the importance of the next generation in the church, children must be empowered to be better. Therefore, this research can be a work that provides education about the influence of technology on Sunday school children at the Imanuel Batubara' Ra'Bung church which can be used as an instrument to help them in developing better thinking patterns. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to describe the reality of the reality that occurs in the field. The qualitative method is applied through library research and field analysis. The library study is applied by finding supporting theories that are relevant to the research. Furthermore, a descriptive approach is applied through interview techniques and field analysis. Interviews were conducted by the author through field research and social analysis. The theories applied by the author are theories about counseling, theories about the church and theories about social assistance. The results of this study are that Sunday school teachers and child care providers must work together to help Sunday school children know God well and also be able to lead themselves in a better direction.
