This article analyzes the legal status of golf course development, specifically Gunung Geulis Country Club (GGCC) in the Puncak-Bogor Area within Indonesia's spatial planning policy and Green Open Space (RTH) protection framework, while evaluating its ecological impacts from an environmental justice perspective. Employing a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and case-based approaches, this research identifies two core issues. First, golf course development occupies a legal grey area: it is recognized as private RTH under Article 29(2) of Law No. 26 of 2007 on Spatial Planning, yet substantively fails to fulfill the ecological functions mandated by law due to its exclusivity and inaccessibility to the public. Second, from an environmental justice perspective, GGCC's development generates layered distributive, procedural, and corrective injustices: surrounding communities bear the burden of groundwater contamination, reduced spring discharge, increased surface runoff, and flood risk, while economic and recreational benefits are concentrated among a small number of high-fee members. Weak AMDAL instruments, minimal public participation, and inconsistent spatial monitoring in the Puncak-Bogor protected area exacerbate these conditions. This article recommends policy reforms including stricter private RTH definitions, strengthened participatory AMDAL processes, and consistent application of the polluter-pays principle.

This study aims to analyze public relations strategies in the implementation of the Mental Revolution Program through Instagram at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The Mental Revolution represents an effort to transform public mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors based on the values of integrity, work ethic, and mutual cooperation in order to build a progressive and competitive nation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangulation to ensure comprehensive findings. The results indicate that the implemented public relations strategies have optimally utilized social media as a means of public communication, particularly in reaching younger audiences. These strategies include the development of positive content, cross-sector collaboration, and the use of media relations to expand information dissemination. The SWOT analysis reveals that the main strengths lie in effective team coordination, structured communication strategies, and a strong organizational culture, while weaknesses include limited human resources and insufficient technological support. Opportunities arise from extensive networks with various institutions and media, whereas threats stem from public perceptions and limited communication competencies. In practice, the Mental Revolution Program is implemented participatively through various initiatives such as Indonesia Serving, Clean, Orderly, Independent, and United, which are disseminated via Instagram. However, its implementation has not been evenly distributed across regions and has only reached approximately 70%, due to budget constraints and varying levels of commitment among local governments. Therefore, the success of this program largely depends on synergy among stakeholders and consistency in internalizing transformative values within society.

Village institutions play an important role in supporting participatory and sustainable rural development. The Village Law No. 6 of 2014 recognizes village autonomy and emphasizes the importance of community participation through Village Community Institutions (Lembaga Kemasyarakatan Desa/LKD). However, the implementation of these institutions in practice has not always functioned effectively. This study aims to analyze the role of village community institutions in supporting village development and to identify the factors that influence their effectiveness in Oematamboli Village, Lobalain District, Rote Ndao Regency. This research employs an empirical legal research method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through interviews and field observations involving village government officials, community institution administrators, and community leaders, while secondary data were obtained from documents and relevant regulations. The results indicate that the functions of LKD, including the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM), Neighborhood Associations (RT), and Community Associations (RW), have not been implemented optimally in supporting village development. This condition is reflected in the limited participation of LKD in development planning, weak absorption of community aspirations, and low community participation in development activities. Several factors influencing this condition include limited human resource capacity, inadequate infrastructure, low community participation, and limited development funding. Therefore, strengthening institutional capacity, improving coordination, and increasing community participation are necessary to enhance the effectiveness of village development.

Land conversion associated with renewable energy expansion generates profound socio-cultural transformations in agrarian communities. This study aims to analyze how wind power development reshapes agrarian identity, social capital configuration, and the meaning of land within rural society from an anthropology of development perspective. This research applies qualitative literature-based analysis supported by recent peer-reviewed scholarship on land use change, rural transformation, social capital, and political ecology. Conceptual synthesis integrates sustainable livelihood framework, identity negotiation theory, and energy landscape analysis to construct an interpretive analytical model. Findings indicate that agricultural land conversion produces deagrarianization, occupational shifts, and reconfiguration of social stratification. Land is redefined from a genealogical and productive space into infrastructure and investment asset. Social capital grounded in kinship networks, customary institutions, and local organizations functions as a resilience mechanism through risk redistribution, collective solidarity, and participatory negotiation. Energy landscapes restructure symbolic and material relations between community and territory, generating both hybrid identities and conflict dynamics. Inclusive governance determines whether renewable energy fosters adaptive transformation or deepens commodification and exclusion. Renewable energy transition in rural areas requires socio-cultural recognition beyond technical implementation. Integrating local identity, participatory governance, and community ownership strengthens just and sustainable transformation pathways.

The development of Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK 2) presents serious issues, including eviction, the loss of traditional livelihoods, and the marginalization of local communities within a modernization agenda that disregards social justice and sustainability. This research questions the extent to which the dominant modernization bias influences the socio-economic conditions of the surrounding community, as well as how public participation practices are implemented in the planning and execution of the project. The PIK 2 project has led to social inequality, the deprivation of rights, and environmental degradation, illustrating a pattern of systemic exploitation of coastal communities through the economic and political power of development elites. The dominant development theory framework proposed by Melkote and Steeves is used to examine modernization bias, supplemented by Islamic concepts such as mustadh’afin and ghasab to strengthen the social justice perspective. In this study, the author employs a qualitative case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation involving affected residents, community leaders, and policymakers. The results of the analysis indicate very low levels of public participation, instances of intimidation during land acquisition, and a significant loss of access to employment and basic facilities for the community. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the need for policy reform to ensure that development is more transparent, participatory, and equitable, in order to protect the rights of local communities from dominant and exploitative development patterns.

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a strategic initiative by the Indonesian government to address the long-standing issues of malnutrition and stunting, which have significantly hindered human resource (HR) development in Indonesia. The program aims to improve children's nutrition and reduce stunting by providing free nutritious meals, particularly in areas with limited access to healthy food. This study aims to analyze the legal framework of MBG, its effectiveness in achieving its goals, and its impact on national development. Using a qualitative approach, the study analyzes the implementation of MBG through document analysis, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and field observations. The findings highlight challenges within the program, including imbalanced food distribution, inadequate infrastructure in remote areas, and suboptimal food quality control, which resulted in several food poisoning incidents in 2025. Nevertheless, the program has a positive economic impact by empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) involved in food supply. The study suggests strengthening the monitoring system, improving budget management, and better coordination between government sectors and communities to maximize the success of MBG. It also emphasizes the importance of nutrition education campaigns to support the program's goals. Overall, MBG is a crucial step toward creating a healthier and more productive generation, supporting the achievement of Indonesia's Golden Generation by 2045..

Education plays an important role in shaping the quality of human resources, particularly in developing students' critical thinking skills. In the learning process at school, teachers not only act as providers of information but also as facilitators who are able to create active, creative, and participatory learning environments. However, in practice, the learning process is still often dominated by one-way lecture methods, which tend to make students passive and less involved in the learning process. This condition affects the development of students’ critical thinking skills. Therefore, learning strategies that actively involve students are needed, one of which is through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL).This study aims to analyze the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing Problem Based Learning and its impact on students’ critical thinking skills at SMA Pembangunan V YAPIS Waena. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Problem Based Learning is carried out through several stages, including presenting problems related to daily life, group discussions, problem analysis, and the presentation of discussion results by students. The implementation of this learning model increases students’ activeness in the learning process and encourages the development of critical thinking skills, such as identifying problems, analyzing information, expressing opinions, and drawing logical conclusions. Therefore, Problem Based Learning can be considered an effective learning strategy for improving students’ critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education learning.

This study aims to analyze the concept of social welfare in the thought of Al-Farabi and its relevance to economic development. Al-Farabi explains that the main goal of social life is to achieve happiness (al-sa‘ādah), which is not only related to material welfare but also includes moral, intellectual, and spiritual values. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach by analyzing the works of Al-Farabi and various relevant scientific literatures. The results show that the concept of social welfare according to Al-Farabi is based on four main principles: social happiness, social justice, community cooperation, and the role of morality and education. These principles indicate that social welfare is not only dependent on economic aspects but also on ethical values, wise leadership, and social cooperation within society. Furthermore, Al-Farabi’s thought is also relevant to modern economic development, particularly in terms of distributive justice, moral-based development, and the role of the state in achieving public welfare.

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of wage levels, economic growth, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on income inequality through labor absorption in the Districts/Cities of Jambi Province from 2020-2024. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model approach.  The analysis method used Eviews 12. The results showed of that partially, income inequality in the Districts/Cities of Jambi Province is significant positive influenced by the wage level variable, while economic growth does not have a significant effect on income inequality. In addition, the Human Development Index (HDI) has a significant negative effect on income inequality. This implies that wage increases are actually followed by in income inequality. Meanwhile, economic growth has not been able to provide a broad income redistribution effect. Conversely, improving the quality of human development proves to be the most effective factor, as it is capable of significant reducing inequalirt levels. Simultaneously, the results show that the variables of wage levels, economic growth, and the Human Development Index (HDI) collectively have a significant influence on income inequality in Districts/Cities of Jambi Province.

An essential stage in road infrastructure development is land acquisition, which frequently causes project delays due to its complex legal, social, and economic challenges. This study aims to identify the factors that hinder the land acquisition process in the Manado Outer Ring Road (MORR) 3 Phase 4 Construction Project and to assess how these constraints affect the progress of construction activities. The research was conducted using a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through field observations, document reviews, and interviews. The findings indicate that delays in land acquisition are caused by discrepancies in legal status and land ownership, differing perceptions of compensation value, insufficient public socialization, and weak institutional coordination. These issues lead to disruptions in the construction schedule and potential increases in project costs. The study demonstrates that land acquisition necessitates a more cohesive strategy, facilitated by enhanced communication and community engagement, fortified land acquisition management frameworks, and precise verification of ownership data. The results indicate that there must be broader mitigation strategies to prevent similar challenges in future infrastructure projects.

Infrastructure expansion has been increasingly recognized as a transformative force shaping the social, economic, and cultural dynamics of coastal communities. This study investigates the effects of major infrastructure development specifically ports and toll roads on social mobility and religious practices within the traditional fishing communities of Bengkalis Island. Using a qualitative design, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with fisherfolk, local leaders, and religious figures, as well as reviews of regional development policies. The findings reveal that new infrastructure has introduced shifts in livelihood patterns, encouraging economic diversification beyond traditional fishing activities. These shifts contribute to both upward and horizontal mobility, altering long-standing social hierarchies within the community. Moreover, the changing economic landscape influences religious life: traditional maritime rituals experience reduced centrality, while formalized religious organizations gain greater authority and participation. Infrastructure development also increases exposure to external cultural influences, accelerating negotiations of religious identity and modern interpretations of faith. Overall, this study argues that infrastructure projects function not only as physical catalysts of development but also as sociocultural drivers that reshape belief systems, communal relations, and the lived realities of traditional fishing populations. The research highlights the necessity of adopting development strategies sensitive to local contexts and cultural continuity.
