Low parental literacy regarding nutrition, parenting, and lack of utilization of Posyandu services as well as low father participation are among the factors contributing to the continued existence of malnutrition and stunting risks at the Flamboyan 3-4 Ulu Posyandu. This study aims to identify the root causes of low parental literacy, map its impact on the condition of toddlers, and evaluate two alternative policies to improve the quality of parenting education. This study uses a mixed method with a predominance of descriptive qualitative data. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and anthropometric data. Policy analysis was conducted using the six evaluation criteria of William Dunn (1999), namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, fairness, responsiveness, and accuracy. The results of the study show that of the 13 children examined in August-September, there were 3 children whose weight and height were not appropriate for their age. The three main factors causing this problem were limited knowledge about nutrition and feeding, low understanding of child growth and development, and minimal use of posyandu services, including the involvement of fathers. The impact of this condition is evident in several toddlers with Z-scores for weight-for-age and height-for-age below the standard. Two policy alternatives were evaluated: the Healthy Family Room Program (RKS) and the 1000 HPK Home-to-Home Counseling Program. The evaluation results show that the RKS Program received the highest score with an average of 3.3, making it more feasible to implement because it is more effective, sufficiently efficient, and more responsive to family needs.

Balanced Nutrition Education and Strengthening Mothers' Participation in Posyandu Activities to Improve Toddler Nutritional Status Toddler nutrition continues to be a key focus in public health initiatives. Mothers' diet and active use of health services, particularly integrated health posts (Posyandu), are two factors that influence the nutritional status of toddlers. To help improve children's nutritional status, this community service project aims to strengthen mothers' involvement in Posyandu activities and raise their awareness of balanced nutrition. Thirty mothers of toddlers were targeted for this project, which was implemented in the Campalagian Community Health Center (Puskesmas) working area. Mothers were encouraged to actively participate in Posyandu activities through mentoring and education on balanced nutrition through counseling and interactive conversations. Mothers' attendance at Posyandu activities was monitored, and knowledge gains were measured using pre- and post-tests. The study found that mothers' average knowledge scores increased from 60 to 82, and mothers' attendance at Posyandu activities increased from 65% to 85%. This project demonstrates that balanced nutrition education and strengthening mothers' participation in Posyandu activities are effective in increasing mothers' knowledge and involvement, potentially supporting efforts to improve and prevent nutritional problems in toddlers on a sustainable basis.

Integrated Health Service Posts (Posyandu) are a means for active community participation in the health sector. Through Posyandu, the role of cadres as the spearhead of environmental health is crucial, especially in educating the community regarding prevention efforts and early detection of various infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB). Bekasi City is experiencing an increase in TB cases, so it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of Posyandu cadres to be more responsive and empowered in dealing with this situation. This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Posyandu cadres in early detection and prevention of TB. The activity was carried out at Posyandu Bangau, West Bekasi, involving 22 active cadres. The implementation method used a participatory and interactive approach, through health education that emphasized the identification of TB symptoms, transmission methods, and community-based prevention strategies. Evaluations were conducted before and after the education to measure the effectiveness of the activity. The evaluation results showed an 80% increase in cadre knowledge after attending the education. This achievement demonstrates that the delivery of accurate and communicative information is very effective in increasing Posyandu cadre awareness. Capacity building for cadres is not only crucial as an initial step in TB prevention, but also as a sustainable effort to build collective community awareness. With the active involvement of cadres and support from health workers, TB risk detection and prevention can be carried out more optimally and comprehensively.

Based on the record owned by the cadre, there are currently 97 babies and toddlers. However, the attendance rate of mothers and toddlers at the Mawar Indah Posyandu  (integrated health service post) averages only 35% each month. This low attendance rate attracted researchers to initiate a community counseling program with goals to increase awareness and participation among mothers of infants and toddlers in the area.  The approach to community empowerment adopted in this study is centered on a public health education campaign, highlighting the critical role of Posyandu in supporting the growth and development of infants and toddlers. The initiative included key steps starting with presenting the benefits of Posyandu for children's growth and developments, engaging participants in a discussion session, and providing door prizes as incentives. The result of the outreach program is attended by 28 mothers along with their children. However, at this level of attendance achieved an average at 28.8%, falling short of the defined success indicators and lower than the previous rate. This outcome was influenced by several factors as outlined in H.L. Bloom’s theory, including environmental factors, individual behavior, healthcare services, and genetic predispositions. The findings indicate that despite efforts to increase awareness and participation, the involvement of mothers with infants and toddlers in the area remains insufficient. Contributing factors include environmental, behavioral, and healthcare service factors. To achieve more optimal results, improvements in these aspects are essential to increase maternal participation in Posyandu programs.

Knowledge and the role of posyandu (integrated service post) cadres are crucial and strategically important in providing health education to the community. According to 2023 data, the coverage of complete basic immunization at posyandu is significantly below the target. Surveys revealed that some cadres have insufficient knowledge and a minimal role in immunization services, such as providing counseling, encouraging, and motivating mothers to immunize their children. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and the role of posyandu cadres in achieving complete basic immunization in the working area of Puskesmas Bahaur Hilir, Pulang Pisau District. Method: This research is a correlational study with a quantitative method using a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique employed was total sampling, with 65 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and statistical analysis was performed using the Spearman correlation test. Results: The data analysis revealed a significant relationship between knowledge and the role of cadres, with a significance value (p-value) of 0.000 < 0.05 and a strong correlation coefficient of 0.642. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge and the role of cadres, with a strong correlation coefficient. It is recommended that posyandu cadres enhance their knowledge and active participation in posyandu activities and communicate information to the community to improve health outcomes.
