Inovasi Pendidikan dan Anak Usia Dini 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Indonesia

This research examines the practices of a B4 class teacher at RA Takhrimah Tungkop in identifying children’s Multiple Intelligences (MI) through authentic observation during an activity of printing moon shapes using banana stems. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Data were analyzed thematically and supported by source and technique triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results indicate that the teacher’s understanding of the MI concept was still focused on linguistic, logical-mathematical, and visual-spatial intelligences. Despite this limited conceptual scope, the implementation of authentic observation during the art-based activity successfully revealed a broader range of children’s intelligences. The moon-printing activity demonstrated indicators of visual-spatial intelligence through shape recognition and composition, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence through hand–eye coordination and motor control, and intrapersonal intelligence reflected in children’s ability to manage emotions, maintain focus, and show persistence during the task. Repeated observations accompanied by anecdotal records enabled the teacher to construct individual and continuous MI profiles for each child. These profiles can be utilized to design more varied, contextual, and child-centered learning strategies that align with the characteristics of early childhood learners in the Raudhatul Athfal setting. The practices observed also illustrate the connection between Gardner’s MI theory and Islamic early childhood education grounded in concrete learning activities. The findings support the development of child-friendly learning environments and encourage teacher creativity in conducting activity-based assessments. This study recommends strengthening teacher competencies through training in authentic MI assessment and further research using a research and development approach.

Learning style theories have long been used to understand individual differences in learning processes. Models such as VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) and Multiple Intelligences offer frameworks for adapting instructional strategies to students’ preferences. However, these approaches have been criticized for their reductionism and limited empirical validity, often neglecting the holistic nature of human learning. In contrast, the Islamic concept of fitrah provides a more comprehensive perspective, encompassing intellectual, spiritual, moral, and emotional dimensions in an integrated manner. This conceptual article aims to analyze and integrate Western learning style theories with Islamic perspectives to develop a more holistic learning paradigm. Through an extensive literature review and theoretical analysis, the article proposes an integrative model that bridges empirical approaches with spiritual values. Theoretically, this integration enriches academic discourse by connecting two distinct knowledge traditions. Practically, it offers a framework for educators and institutions to design adaptive learning processes that address learner diversity while fostering spiritual and moral development.

Education is an important place for students to develop their potential based on their intelligence. Multiple intelligences offer an approach that considers the various potentials of students in the learning process. SD Islamiyah, as an educational institution with a vision to produce intelligent and creative generations, faces challenges in delivering learning that meets the needs of students. To address this issue, a system is needed that can analyze and group students based on their intelligence levels using the clustering method. This study is inspired by the application of data mining in the educational context, particularly in adapting the clustering method as applied in other related research. Previous research has demonstrated the success of the clustering method in accurately grouping data, as seen in studies related to flood warnings and cesarean operations. By applying a similar approach, this research aims to assist SD Islamiyah in identifying and grouping students based on their potential, thereby facilitating a more effective learning process tailored to the individual needs of students. The results of this study are expected to contribute positively to improving the quality of education at SD Islamiyah and provide a foundation for the development of more advanced decision support systems in the future

Learning while playing, playing while learning is the principle of fun learning in PAUD. Early age at school is an effective age for developing various potentials that children have. This research is motivated by a problem, namely the application of the principle of playing while learning is still not optimal in developing multiple intelligences in early childhood. This study aims to stimulate children's brains in the long term, so that their memories are always filled with activities that give positive impressions and of course are fun for children, and to find out the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teacher's feelings about the concept of playing while learning for early childhood. The purpose of playing is basically directed at developing children's multiple intelligences. The principle of playing while learning prioritizes playing activities rather than learning, meaning that learning activities in PAUD are more dominated by fun and exciting activities for children. The theoretical foundations in this study are: the concept of playing while learning, the notion of learning, the concept of PAUD learning, the concept of early childhood education. The approach method used in this study is a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that PAUD Dharma Bakti uses the method of playing while learning to increase the multiple intelligences of children. The conclusion of this study is that learning while playing is very effective to do. This study aims to: 1) describe the multiple intelligences seen in student activities in the third grade 2013 curriculum; and 2) explain the development of multiple intelligences that have not been seen in student activities in the textbooks for class III students of the 2013 curriculum. The research conducted is included in the type of qualitative research. The data collection method used is literature study and discussion with colleagues. The results of the analysis of the thematic book for class III Objects Around Me 2013 curriculum that aspects of multiple intelligences have not been raised or developed as a whole. This can be seen in sub-theme 1 of intelligence that appears more dominant, namely linguistic intelligence and interpersonal intelligence, while intelligence that is not at all raised is naturalist intelligence. In sub-theme 2, visual-spatial intelligence and interpersonal intelligence are dominantly developed, and musical intelligence is not developed at all. Meanwhile, the 3 intelligence sub-themes that often appear are linguistic intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence, besides that musical intelligence has not yet been raised. And sub-theme 4 has visual-spatial intelligence and interpersonal intelligence that are often raised in student activities, the intelligence that is still lacking and has not been raised is musical intelligence. So that the results of the study can be concluded that in general the activities contained in the class III curriculum 2013 textbooks are able to develop eight intelligences.
