The character crisis among students has become a serious concern, marked by the rise of deviant behaviors such as bullying, drug abuse, and criminal acts committed by minors. This phenomenon underscores the urgent need to strengthen religious character through the active role of teachers in the school environment. This study aims to describe the role of teachers in shaping the religious character of Grade III students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the character formation process. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects were determined using snowball sampling, while data validity was verified through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The findings reveal that teachers play multiple strategic roles in shaping students' religious character, including acting as educators, instructors, mentors, motivators, evaluators, facilitators, and advisors, as well as serving as role models and fostering habitual religious practices. Supporting factors in religious character formation include the availability of school facilities and infrastructure, along with various religious activities within the school environment. Inhibiting factors consist of internal factors related to students' individual characteristics and external factors stemming from the home environment. These findings affirm that the teacher's role is multidimensional and requires synergy between the school and family environment to effectively cultivate strong religious character in students.

The resolution of juvenile cases in Indonesia requires a restorative justice approach as outlined in Law Number 11 of 2012 on the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (UUSPPA). However, Article 7, paragraph (2) restricts diversion to crimes punishable by less than seven years, excluding repeat offenders. This presents challenges for minors involved in serious crimes, such as rape, leading to concerns over child protection and fairness in the justice system. The implementation of diversion in the Syari’ah Court follows national juvenile justice protocols but faces challenges, especially in maintaining consistency across law enforcement agencies and regions. The study employs an empirical juridical approach and explores the challenges of implementing diversion in the Aceh Sharia Court. Findings reveal that diversion efforts are often inconsistent and rely on the discretion of authorities. Although the Child Criminal Justice System Law mandates diversion for cases involving crimes with sentences under seven years and non-recidivists, its actual application varies. For instance, rape cases between 2020 and 2023 show that some were excluded from diversion due to their serious nature, while others still pursued diversion despite the potential for sentences exceeding seven years.

Protecting the rights of children in inheritance cases is very important in Indonesian civil law. It involves things like legal ability, who takes care of the child, and making sure the child's rights are properly respected and met. This study looks into how the law protects young people in fights over inheritance, including how guardians are used, any problems where someone might benefit unfairly, and how judges should make sure the child's best interests are always considered. The study uses a normative legal approach, looking at laws and ideas by checking related civil law rules and child protection guidelines. The study shows that children cannot make their own legal decisions in court and need their parents or guardians to act on their behalf. But in real situations, there can be problems where the parents' interests might conflict with what's best for the child, which could affect the child's right to inherit property. Judges are important in checking if the guardian has the right to be in the case and making sure the claim doesn't harm the child. Legal protection in inheritance matters needs to be both official, by having proper representatives, and real, by ensuring fair treatment, clear laws, and special care for children's rights as legal beings who need extra protection.
