The policy to implement the deep learning approach in Indonesian schools starting from the 2025/2026 academic year requires teachers to be well prepared to design and conduct meaningful and in-depth learning. This community service program aimed to enhance the understanding and pedagogical competence of senior high school and madrasah economics teachers in Tasikmalaya City in implementing the deep learning approach comprehensively. The program employed a community-based science and technology application scheme through training and mentoring activities conducted in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modes, consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The training materials covered the concept and implementation of deep learning, lesson planning, instructional design and models, learning evaluation, development of innovative technology-based learning media, and reinforcement of microeconomic and macroeconomic content. A total of 78 economics teachers participating in the MGMP of Tasikmalaya City were involved in the program. The results indicate that the training improved teachers’ understanding of deep learning, lesson planning, and assessment strategies that support meaningful learning. Participants’ reflections revealed high motivation and strong relevance of the training materials to their professional duties. This program contributes to strengthening teachers’ readiness to implement deep learning sustainably and supports the improvement of economics learning quality in schools.

This study aims to describe the perspectives of economic actors regarding the importance of money in daily interactions and transactions. Money, as a medium of exchange, not only facilitates the transfer of goods and services but also shapes more efficient and structured economic behavior. In everyday activities, economic actors view money as an instrument that provides value certainty, transactional convenience, and flexibility in managing needs and expenditures. The role of money is also understood as a factor influencing socio-economic relationships, as interactions between individuals are often grounded in transactional processes that require trust and universally accepted exchange values. Furthermore, the development of payment technologies has broadened economic actors’ understanding of money, especially within the context of digitalized transactions. This study illustrates that money is not merely a transactional tool but also a crucial element in shaping the socio-economic dynamics of modern society. The findings are expected to contribute to microeconomic discussions related to how economic actors utilize money as a fundamental instrument in daily economic activities.

This study aims to examine in depth the role of traditional cart taxis in supporting tourism accessibility in Ijen Crater. Cart taxis as a local community-based transportation mode have a significant contribution in addressing geographical challenges and limited formal infrastructure in natural tourism areas. Through a qualitative descriptive approach based on observation, documentation, and literature studies, it was found that traditional cart taxis not only function as a means of transportation, but also as social and economic agents that strengthen community involvement in the tourism industry. Traditional taxi activities also provide alternative livelihoods, create authentic interactions with tourists, and support the microeconomic ecosystem at the local level. However, traditional taxi drivers face serious challenges such as income uncertainty, unclear legal status, and minimal policy support. This study recommends the importance of integrating traditional cart taxis into an inclusive, participatory, and sustainable tourism management system.

Islamic economics is a branch of science that discusses economic issues like conventional economic systems. However, what distinguishes it is the application of Islamic values as the main foundation in all economic activities. In the context of Islamic microeconomics, decision-making by each economic actor is carried out by considering the limitations of sharia as the main factor. Here, economic variables only act as necessary conditions, while morality and sharia rules act as sufficient conditions. Islamic economics is present as an alternative solution to global economic problems and as a means to achieve spiritual happiness, because economic activities in this system can also be considered worship.

This study uses a qualitative method by analyzing 15 relevant journals to examine the optimization of productive waqf in the development of Islamic microeconomics. Productive waqf has great potential as an instrument for empowering the people's economy, especially in supporting the sharia-based micro and small business sector. This study found that the use of waqf productively can create economic sustainability through the management of waqf assets for productive activities such as agriculture, trade, and microfinance services. Through good governance strategies, transparency, and adequate regulatory support, productive waqf has been proven to increase community income, create jobs, and reduce economic inequality. In addition, collaboration between professional nadzir and Islamic financial institutions is the key to success in implementing productive waqf. The main obstacles faced include low waqf literacy in the community and limited innovation in managing waqf assets. Therefore, synergy is needed between the government, Islamic financial institutions, and the community to encourage the maximum use of productive waqf in supporting an inclusive and sustainable Islamic microeconomics.

This study examines microeconomic activities in the form of part-time plywood manufacturing in Jerukgiling Village, Kendal Regency, which has been running for two years and involves ten workers. Plywood production is carried out by housewives as an additional job after completing household chores and activities in the rice fields. With a price of Rp1,200 per sheet, plywood production provides additional income for families in the village. The raw materials for making plywood come from sengon and jagon wood, provided by Mr. Gunawan, a boss from Brayu Hamlet, Kertosari Village, Singorojo Subdistrict, Kendal District. The production process is carried out in a special place that is now available, unlike before when it was done in each house. Plywood is collected every day with a production quantity of 200-300 pieces, although payment is made at a later date. The study also found that working hours are flexible, with production activities extending into the evening. The health center routinely checks the health of the workers every month to ensure that their health conditions are maintained. The analysis concludes that this plywood-making business not only provides economic benefits, but also provides flexibility for housewives in carrying out their dual roles. The main resource person for this research was Mrs. Karomah, one of the workers, who provided a detailed description of the dynamics and challenges faced in running a plywood-making business while taking care of their children

The quantitative method uses the analysis of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997) to obtain vehicle volume, road capacity and traffic performance. The qualitative method uses descriptive analysis that discusses the comparison of the distribution of micro-economic activities that affect side barriers, the comparison of two traffic performance results and spatial planning plans along the Perkutut road. The results showed that the increase in the number of micro-economic activities at night along Jalan Perkutut had an effect on increasing the number of side barriers and the volume of vehicles. In addition, the imbalance in the volume of vehicles and road capacity shows that Perkutut Road traffic performance is experiencing congestion as indicated by the Service Level Index (ITP) with a value of F.
