Amid the accelerating rhythm of digital culture, academic competition, and the changing patterns of student life in higher education, the formation of Muslim student character has become an increasingly urgent concern. A campus mosque can no longer be viewed merely as a place of worship; it must also be understood as a strategic nonformal Islamic educational space that nurtures spirituality, morality, social awareness, and student identity in a more contextual way. This study aims to analyze the role of the campus mosque as a space for shaping Muslim student character through the Islamic mentoring program at Masjid Syamsul Ulum, Telkom University. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on document study and thematic analysis of scholarly articles, mentoring program documents, and relevant works on campus mosques, religious moderation, and student character education. The findings show that the mentoring program at Masjid Syamsul Ulum is systematically designed through a clear structure, curriculum, methods, evaluation tools, and mentor regeneration, all of which are integrated with the institutional values of Harmony, Excellence, and Integrity. Socioculturally, the program functions not only as a medium for religious instruction but also as a process of value internalization, habituation of religious practice, strengthening of moderation, and construction of Muslim student identity within a technology-oriented university environment. This study proposes a conceptual understanding that the campus mosque can serve as a strategic space for shaping Muslim students who are religious, moderate, collaborative, and adaptive in the digital era.

In Indonesia, waqf generally takes the form of land that is used for mosques, prayer rooms, schools, cemeteries and homes for orphans, although the object of waqf is not limited to land alone. A clear waqf certificate is important to provide legal certainty regarding the ownership and use of waqf land, because without this certainty, ownership or management disputes could hamper the use of waqf assets for the public interest. Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf regulates waqf as a concrete effort to deal with waqf problems, but many people have not officially registered waqf land, which has the potential to cause conflict in the future. An example is the case that occurred at the Jami Nurul Islam Mosque, which is located in Koja, North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. This research will discuss the legal consequences of the absence of a waqf pledge deed and resolving waqf land disputes through alternative methods, using normative legal research Keywords : Waqf, Waqf Disputes, Alternative Methods.

This study examines and analyzes the strategies of mosques as a medium for empowering the community's economy in the city of Watampone. The main focus of the research is to identify the types of strategies implemented by mosques, the challenges faced in carrying out economic programs, and to formulate effective strategies for improving community welfare based on mosque-centered initiatives. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of four main mosques in Watampone City: Masjid Agung al-Malkaz al-Ma’arif, Masjid Nurul Hamirah, Masjid Tua Al-Mujahidin, and Masjid Songko’ Recca. The findings reveal that mosques in Watampone have implemented two strategic approaches to economic empowerment: offline (physical) and online (digital). (1) Offline strategies are carried out through the utilization of physical assets such as hall rentals, the establishment of business units, and the organization of social and educational activities.(2) Online strategies are still limited to the use of QRIS for donations and da'wah media, and have not yet extended to digital economic empowerment such as sharia-based marketplaces or online training platforms. In practice, mosques utilize several Islamic economic contracts, including ijarah, muḍarabah, and wakalah. The implementation of these empowerment programs faces several internal and external challenges. This study formulates six effective strategies to address these challenges. These findings are expected to serve as strategic recommendations for mosque administrators, government institutions, and the broader community in enhancing the role of mosques as centers of community economic empowerment.

The Great Mosque of Tegal City is a historic building that has undergone numerous renovations since its establishment in 1825-1830. These renovations aimed not only to meet the functional and capacity needs of worshippers but also reflected modern architectural trends, occasionally compromising historical elements. This study employs a qualitative approach using documentation, observation, and literature synthesis methods to analyze the mosque's architectural changes. Using John Obert Voll's "continuity and change" theory, the research identifies the preserved original architectural elements and the modifications made. The findings reveal that while several original features, such as the mosque's core structure, remain intact, significant changes in renovations—such as the addition of floors, towers, and alterations to the gate design—have impacted the mosque's historical and aesthetic values. The study recommends the preservation of historical elements to maintain the mosque's cultural identity.

This study examines the transformation of mihrab design in contemporary mosque architecture in the modern era through a literature review approach. The mihrab, as an essential element in mosque architecture that marks the direction of the qibla, has undergone significant evolution in its design and application alongside the development of contemporary architecture. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, this study analyzes various sources of literature related to the development of mihrab design, including academic journals, books, and architectural documents. The findings of the study reveal that the transformation of mihrab design not only involves visual changes but also a reinterpretation of deeper symbolic and philosophical meanings. This research contributes to understanding how Islamic architecture can adapt to modernity while preserving its spiritual values.

This community service program aims to build religious awareness in the community through Maghrib Tilawah activities at the At-Takwa Mosque, Baru Village, Asahan Regency. This program focuses on children and adolescents, with the aim of getting them used to reading the Qur'an after Maghrib prayers. Based on the results of observations, this activity succeeded in attracting the active participation of around 30 participants each night. The positive impact can be seen from the increase in the ability to read the Qur'an and changes in the behavior of participants who become more religious. Some challenges in implementing the program include fluctuations in the number of participants and the need for extra guidance for children who still have limitations in reading the Qur'an. With continuous evaluation and adjustment, this program is expected to continue to contribute to increasing religious awareness in the community, as well as creating a strong foundation for the future Qur'anic generation.
