Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in supporting the Indonesian economy, especially in rural areas where they contribute significantly to employment and local income. Sait Buttu Saribu Village in Simalungun Regency possesses considerable potential in the agricultural, tourism, and culinary sectors, which can be developed through strong MSME activities. Nevertheless, many local MSMEs continue to experience challenges related to limited promotion, weak branding, and restricted market access. This study aims to analyze visit-based and promotional strategies for MSMEs as an effort to strengthen the village economy and enhance business competitiveness. The research methods consist of a literature review of relevant previous studies and field observations conducted through community service activities in the village. The findings indicate that industrial visits, digital promotion via social media platforms, the utilization of Google Maps for location visibility, and branding that highlights local wisdom are effective strategies for expanding market reach and increasing MSME competitiveness. Through strong synergy among the village government, MSME actors, and the local community, MSMEs in Sait Buttu Saribu Village can grow more optimally and contribute to sustainable economic development and tourism.

Industrial visits are widely recognized as an experiential learning approach that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real industrial practices in engineering education. This study aims to examine the relationship between industrial visits and the improvement of production system understanding and critical thinking skills among students of the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Al-Ghazali (UNUGHA) Cilacap. A quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design was employed. The participants consisted of 43 industrial engineering students who took part in industrial visits to PT Dirgantara Indonesia and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Bandung. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through Paired Sample t-Test. The results reveal a significant increase in students’ understanding of production systems, with mean scores rising from 64.23 (pretest) to 81.47 (posttest) (p < 0.05). Similarly, critical thinking skills showed a significant improvement, increasing from a mean score of 63.05 to 83.12 (p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that industrial visits have a substantial positive impact on enhancing students’ academic competencies. This study highlights the importance of systematically integrating industrial visits into the industrial engineering curriculum to strengthen learning outcomes and improve graduates’ readiness for industrial challenges.

Hypertension and hypercholesterolemia are closely related non-communicable diseases and major risk factors for cardiovascular disease, particularly in older adults. These conditions are influenced by medical, behavioral, family, and environmental factors, requiring a holistic family medicine approach through home visits. This study aimed to describe the clinical condition, family function, and environmental factors of a 60-year-old female patient with hypertension and hypercholesterolemia using the APGAR and SCREEM approaches. This study employed a qualitative descriptive design in the form of a case report involving Mrs. S (60 years old) in Lebbek Village, Pamekasan Regency. Data were collected through anamnesis, physical examination, total cholesterol measurement using a GCU meter, environmental observation, and assessment of family function and environmental factors. The results showed blood pressure values of 161/96 mmHg and 160/96 mmHg on repeated measurement, with a total cholesterol level of 154 mg/dL. The patient had a high-salt and high-fat diet with low physical activity. APGAR assessment indicated poor family function with a total score of 4, particularly in the partnership and resolve domains, while the growth domain was categorized as accepting. SCREEM analysis identified education as the main barrier. In conclusion, management of this condition requires family-based interventions focusing on improving family cooperation and health education tailored to the patient’s literacy level.

Wonogiri Regency in Central Java Province has great potential for sustainable tourism development, particularly through the integration of nature and religious tourism. This study aims to analyze the development strategy of the Watu Cenik Tomb in Sendang Village as a pilgrimage destination, which involves the historical value of the tomb of the Kyai Solo Sumarto IX family, the natural landscape of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir, and cultural traditions such as Grebeg Syawalan. Using Richard Butler's Sustainable Tourism theory with the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) model, this study applies a descriptive qualitative method through intensive interviews, observations, and documentation of stakeholders such as tourism managers, local communities, and tourists. The results of the study show that Watu Cenik has the potential to be an attractive pilgrimage destination, but its appeal is not yet optimal, with visits limited to private pilgrimages and the local community. The efforts of BUMDes Sendang Pinilih, such as the construction of homestays, shuttle services, and social media promotion, have increased visitor numbers, but additional facilities such as souvenir kiosks, local culinary offerings, photo spots, tour guides, and infrastructure improvements are still needed to attract more visitors and support the creative economy. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of intensive digital promotion, integrated tour packages, and stakeholder collaboration to realize sustainable tourism that preserves cultural heritage while improving community welfare. Suggestions for further research include integrating mixed methods with quantitative analysis to measure economic impact and comparisons with similar destinations.

Antenatal care is the midwifery care midwives provide to pregnant women before the baby's birth to ensure positive outcomes for both the mother and the baby. This care involves establishing a trusting relationship with the mother, detecting complications that could threaten life, preparing for the baby's birth, and providing health education for the mother. This descriptive study investigated pregnant mothers’ cognition of antenatal care at Midwifery Clinician Siti Nurjannah Ngemplak Demak by overviewing the object. This study's population consists of primigravida pregnant women in their third trimester taken with saturated sampling or total sampling, resulting in a sample of 40 primigravida pregnant women in their third trimester. The instruments used in this study include a questionnaire on pregnant mothers' cognition about antenatal care and the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) book for pregnant mothers. The researchers analyzed the data using univariate methods that include: the characteristics of pregnant women, knowledge of pregnant women about antenatal care, and the frequency of antenatal care visits. The research findings reveal that 20 respondents, or 50%, possess the majority of high school education characteristics. In terms of employment, 26 respondents, or 65%, are employed. Most respondents were aged 20–35 years. In terms of education level, they had an average level of cognition, with a frequency of 18 respondents (45%). When it comes to the frequency of visits by pregnant women, most respondents complied, with 26 respondents (65%) reporting a visit frequency. The research findings suggest that motivating pregnant women about the importance of knowledge and antenatal care visits is a recommended strategy.

One of the benefits of the development of information systems is to increase effectiveness, efficiency and convenience in various aspects of technological life, especially in the scope of education, such as at SMK Negeri 1 Banyumas which implements a library visit system. But there are also challenges in its implementation, such as theft of personal data and misuse of data by irresponsible people. By conducting an information system audit, we can better understand the weaknesses of the system, for example, using COBIT 5 to view and evaluate the information system. as in the questionnaire that we distributed shows that there are 79% of students feel safe about the library visit system and 4.8% of students feel that the library visit system is not secure enough for almost the same reasons such as the authentication system that only relies on a username in the form of NIS and no password. From this data we can provide recommendations such as implementing a password system and 2-factor authentication in order to better protect personal data, files, systems, networks, and so on so that the system becomes better and more secure.

This study analyzes the impact of international tourist arrivals and their spending on the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in Indonesia from 2009 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression, the study examines the relationship between two independent variables nternational tourist arrivals and average tourist spending and the dependent variable, which is the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels. Data for this research were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Ministry of Tourism, and Bank Indonesia. The analysis results show that the number of international tourist arrivals does not significantly affect the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels. However, average tourist spending has a significant negative effect, indicating that tourists with higher spending tend to choose higher-star hotels. The simultaneous F test reveals that both variables jointly have a significant effect on hotel occupancy rates. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 45.52% indicates that both independent variables can explain the variation in the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government and tourism industry stakeholders focus on promoting destinations that attract high-spending tourists and improving the quality of star-rated hotel accommodations to meet the preferences of international tourists.

The promotion and marketing efforts by the Tourism Office of Karimun Regency aim to introduce and effectively promote local tourist destinations to both domestic and international visitors. According to a previous study by Andriani (2020), the development of tourist sites in Karimun Regency has not yet been fully realized by the local government. This research aims to reexamine and optimize Karimun's tourism potential through programs implemented by the Tourism Office, supporting local economic changes. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews with informants, field notes, and relevant official documents. It focuses on examining the promotion strategies carried out by the Tourism Office to increase tourist visits. Based on Kooten's theory, there are four strategic indicators: organizational strategy, program organization, resource support strategy, and institutional strategy. The research results show that all strategic indicators have been implemented well in accordance with funding from the center, providing a positive impact on the development of tourist destinations and increasing the number of tourists who come to visit tourist attractions in Karimun district. However, if funding is not in accordance with the annual plan, the program that has been prepared by the marketing and promotion division will have an impact, hampering efforts to increase tourist visits from both inside and outside Karimun Regency.
