This study analyzes the economic dynamics and development of the tourism sector in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Province during the 2015–2024 period. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). Data analysis is carried out through descriptive statistical methods and trend analysis to capture changes and patterns over time. The variables examined include regional economic growth, the number of tourist visits, road infrastructure development, labor absorption, and hotel occupancy rates across five districts/cities in the province. The findings indicate that the economy of DIY demonstrates relatively strong resilience in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period, supported by gradual recovery in tourism-related activities. The development and operation of Yogyakarta International Airport have significantly contributed to economic growth in Kulon Progo Regency, particularly by improving accessibility and investment opportunities. The tourism sector continues to serve as the main economic driver in the region, with tourist visits largely concentrated in Sleman Regency and Yogyakarta City, while Gunungkidul Regency shows considerable potential for nature-based tourism development. Overall, the study concludes that equitable infrastructure development and the strengthening of the service sector are crucial to ensuring sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Infant mortality rates (IMR) at the global and national levels occur mostly during the neonatal period. One way to reduce infant mortality is to provide the best food, namely breast milk. The breastfeeding process can be hampered due to several problems, one of which is the occurrence of breast milk dams. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge about breastfeeding techniques and breast milk dams at PMB Pratiwi Agustian. The research method used was a quantitative analytic study with a cross sectional design. The research sample was 28 respondents using total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of breastfeeding mothers with good knowledge of breastfeeding techniques did not experience breast milk dams as many as 5 people (71.4%), 13 people (76.5%) did not experience breast milk dams in the moderate category, and 4 people (100.0%) experienced breast milk dams in the poor category. Correlation analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge of breastfeeding techniques and breast milk dams in nursing mothers at PMB Pratiwi Agustian with a significant value of p = 0.015. Lack of knowledge about proper breastfeeding techniques can increase the risk of breast milk dams in mothers. Therefore, improving mothers' knowledge and skills in breastfeeding through proper education and counseling is crucial to prevent or reduce the incidence of breast milk dams.

Ready-to-drink (RTD) chocolate beverages are increasingly popular, yet traditional formulations often contain dairy components while some consumers are lactose intolerance. The primary challenges in RTD chocolate beverages include achieving acceptable flavor profiles and managing cocoa powder precipitation. This study aimed to formulate a non-dairy ready-to-drink chocolate beverage using a hedonic test and  enhance its physical stability through varied xanthan gum concentrations applying Completely Randomized Design (CRD).A hedonic test involving 30 untrained respondents determined the most preferred formula with the highest preference level (3.7), which consisted of 40% local cocoa powder from Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, 15% commercial cocoa powder, and 45% castor sugar. Stability analysis involved incorporating xanthan gum at concentrations of 0.1%, 0.15%, and 0.2% (w/v). Results demonstrated that 0.2% xanthan gum concentration yielded the highest viscosity (98 N.s/m²), significantly differing from the control. The lowest precipitation was observed at 0.2% concentration (p-value 0.048). Particle size analysis revealed progressive reduction from 21 μm to 5 μm with increasing xanthan gum concentration. The study conclusively identified 0.2% (w/v) xanthan gum as the most effective concentration for improving chocolate beverage stability, offering a promising approach for developing innovative, dairy-free RTD products.

Pesantren has an important role in the formation of the religious character of students. Pesantren Al-Manar as one of the Islamic educational institutions has developed various management strategies to analyze how the management of Pesantren Al-Manar manages the learning process, security activities, and moral development of students in order to create a generation of faith and piety. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach at Pesantren Al-Manar. The results of the study show that effective pesantren management includes planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation which contributes significantly to improving the religiousness of students.

Organizational achievement is influenced by the work environment where employees carry out activities also have an important role in improving their performance. The work environment refers to the material and psychological conditions of employees in the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance at the Kulon Progo Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Office. In this study, the data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation, documentation and literature study. The analysis used is instrument test, classical assumptions, multiple regression, hypothesis testing, and R2 estimation. Sampling by distributing questionnaires directly to 37 samples. The results of data processing from motivation (X1) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, namely tcount 2.573> ttable 2.032 with a significance of 0.015 <0.05 and the work environment (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, namely tcount 2.903> ttable 2.036 with a significance of 0.006 <0.05. Fcount value 7.803> Ftable 3.28, with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. This means that motivation and work environment simultaneously affect employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination test obtained an R-square value of 0.315 or 31.5%, which means that the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable and the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research variables.

The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the implementation of agenda setting in the formation of Salamrejo Village Regulation Number 7 of 2016 concerning the Anniversary of Salamrejo Village, Kapanewon Sentolo , Kulon Progo Regency. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method, namely an effort to collect, compile and interpret existing data and then analyze the data. The research concluded that the agenda setting process began with a more " jagongan " discussion between the Village Head, community leaders, Village Consultative Body, Salamrejo District Community Empowerment Institution, Family Welfare Empowerment and Karang Taruna , followed by meetings, team formation and subsequent literature studies. make a decree called the Salamrejo District Anniversary Village Regulation which is used as a guideline in carrying out activities so that the Government Work Plan (RKP) in the use of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDES) can be accounted for.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee productivity at Joglo Girli Resto & Café in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The company's access to high-quality human resources (HR) is very important. There is even an assumption that having access to good human resources is essential to achieving success. Therefore, to achieve high quality human resources, the organization as a whole must participate as much as possible in the process of developing its own human resources (HR investment). Regression, correlation, and hypothesis testing were used in statistical analysis in this study. The results of this study, employee productivity is significantly influenced by motivation by 14.6%. After hypothesis testing, the t value > t table, or (2.185 > 2.048). Employee productivity is significantly influenced by work discipline by 48.8%. After testing the hypothesis, the value of t count> t table (5.165> 2.101). Employee productivity is significantly influenced by work discipline and motivation simultaneously, as seen in the regression equation Y = 0.749 + 0.110 X1 + 0.665 X2. The contribution of influence is 45.8%, and the hypothesis test results in F count greater than F table, or (13.231 > 2.947).

The SME empowerment policy is generally directed at supporting efforts to overcome poverty and inequality, create job opportunities and increase exports, as well as agricultural and rural revitalization, which are national development priorities. In addition, the development of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is directed at making a significant contribution to creating job opportunities, increasing exports and increasing competitiveness.This Community Service Activity (PKM) is focused on MSMEs in Pagerharjo Village, Kulon Progo Regency. The reason for choosing this service location is because Pagerharjo Village is an Independent Cultural Village which has implemented the Preneur Village program since 2019. The Preneur Village is currently still active and developing. The problem with MSMEs, under the management of BUMDes Binangun Pagerharjo in Pagerharjo Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo Regency, is the lack of entrepreneurial spirit and financial bookkeeping which, on average, is still done manually.The results of the service include responses and evaluations from participants regarding the training that has been provided. The response was given by the Director of BUMDes who was impressed with the training provided which was different from the training that had been provided previously. Previous training involved mostly listening to lectures, whereas the current training involves participants being active in solving the various problems they face. The evaluation results show that the participants' knowledge has increased and their insight into their business has also increased. It turns out that producing a business is not only based on generations, but also requires innovation so that marketing will continue to develop and financial management will also improve.

The existence of infrastructure and development that continues to develop in Kulon Progo, such as the YIA Airport in  Kulon Progo, hotels and shopping centers can lead to rapid development growth in Kulon Progo. With development increasing rapidly but not accompanied by the development of human resources in the surrounding area, this has resulted in the marginalization of the surrounding community. The author's aim is to analyze the activities carried out by the Kulon Progo government to increase the capacity of the Kulon Progo community. Can also analyze problems that arise in the development process and how the Department handles them. A qualitative approach was chosen for this research process, namely descriptive research. The data sources used are primary data obtained during the research process and secondary data from books and other literature. The data collection process was carried out by interviews, direct observation and documentation. The research results include plans for development and empowerment activities prepared by the department taking into account various agency linkages and the needs of business actors in Kulon Progo. The Department carries out various programs such as training to increase production capacity, improving central management, issuing permits to increase business capacity in Kulon Progo. Monitoring and evaluation of activities is also carried out to determine the obstacles and successes of activity programs.

Pagerharjo Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo is on the buffer of the Borobudur destination which has a variety of tourism resource diversity. One cultural attraction in Pagerharjo Village is the Lengger Tapeng dance. Lengger has become a local symbol for the Pegerharjo people. The natural, cultural and local wisdom tourism potential of the community, Pagerharjo tourism village has a great opportunity to be visited by many tourists. However, village governance, especially towards the development of a tourist village, has not been implemented professionally, resulting in the potential of the Pagerharjo tourism village not being widely known by tourists. The objectives of this PkM include: (1). Increasing tourism competitiveness, (2) Improving the technical quality of guiding tourists in the tourist village of Pagerharjo (3). Improving the ability of human resources in managing the marketing of tourism products in the Pagerharjo tourism village. The method of implementing this PkM is through outreach, observation, mentoring and evaluation. The results of PkM received a positive response from partners, which have raised awareness, concern for the importance of marketing and excellent service to improve the development of Pagerharjo Tourism Village, both through talk shows and excellent service training

Pelatihan pembuatan pembukuan bagi para pelaku UMKM yang ada di daerah Kabupaten Kulon Progo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM dalam mengelola keuangan bisnis mereka. Metode yang digunakan untuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni dengan memberikan suatu pelatihan pembuatan pembukuan dan materi yang diberikan terdiri dari modul-modul yang diadaptasi dari pedoman akuntansi keuangan UMKM. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 1 hari di tempat masing-masing pelaku UMKM, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 3 pelaku usaha. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta memahami pentingnya pembukuan untuk mengelola keuangan bisnis mereka dan mampu menerapkan pembukuan sederhana untuk bisnis mereka. Sebagai hasil dari pelatihan, pelaku UMKM mampu membuat pembukuan sederhana yang memungkinkan mereka untuk mengukur kinerja bisnis mereka serta membuat keputusan untuk usahanya bisnis agar lebih baik di masa depan. Pelatihan ini diharapkan bisa memberikan dukungan bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal melalui peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan keuangan pelaku UMKM di daerah Kabupaten Kulon Progo.

Wajib pajak yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan latar belakang akuntansi dan perpajakan sering kali mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan pengisian SPT untuk pelaporan pajak. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi (WPOP) khususnya pemilik restoran di daerah kabupaten Kulon Progo yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melaporkan SPT pajak restoran. Metode kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pendampingan dan konsultasi secara langsung kepada WPOP yang datang ke kantor Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kulon Progo pada bagian Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Daerah. Pendampingan dilakukan untuk setiap WPOP yang akan melaporkan pajak restorannya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah WPOP dapat melaporkan SPT pajak restoran yang dilaporkan setiap bulan oleh Wajib Pajak dengan benar dan tepat waktu. Kendala penggunaan aplikasi E-SPTPD bagi Wajib Pajak meliputi kendala internal yaitu kemampuan berteknologi Wajib Pajak yang masih belum merata, kesadaran Wajib Pajak yang masih rendah, dan tingkat ketelitian wajib pajak yang masih kurang. Sedangkan kendala eksternalnya yaitu ketidakstabilan jaringan internet Wajib Pajak, serta masih terbatasnya fasilitas untuk melakukan pelaporan pajak. Saran yang diberikan untuk mengatasai permasalahan tersebut adalah perlunya sosialisasi dan pendampingan, baik secara pemberian materi maupun melakukan praktik langsung.

Empowerment of Farming Communities in Enhancing Rural Economic Development. This socialization aims to find out the extent of the role of Farmer Groups in increasing the empowerment of the farming community of Kulwaru Village, Wates District, Kulon Progo Regency and to know the Rights and Obligations of Owners and Cultivators.The main problem of the target audience is to find out how the behavior of the farmers in Kulwaru Village regarding financing and management and calculating the profits of rice farmers. As well as knowing how accounting and local wisdom in the profit-sharing system between the owner rice farmer and the cultivating rice farmer under the guise method. Based on the research, the results obtained from analyzing the results of experience and interviews with rice farmers in Kulwaru Village, Wates District, Kulon Progo Regency produced a form or model of profit sharing cooperation with the "mask" method. Owners and cultivators in a production sharing cooperation agreement are not carried out in writing, but verbally. In addition, owner farmers and sharecroppers also have different rights and obligations in managing rice fields.

Pengadaan tanah adalah kegiatan memperoleh tanah dengan cara memberikan kompensasi kepada mereka yang telah melepaskan atau meninggalkan tanah, bangunan, tanaman, atau barang- barang yang berhubungan dengan tanah. Kajian yang berjudul Pemberian Penggantian Kerugian Untuk Pembangunan Jalan Tol Kulon progo Solo-Yogyakarta Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden 71 Tahun 2012, ini menjelaskan bagaimana cara pemberian ganti rugi atas pembangunan Jalan Tol Kulon progo Solo-Yogyakarta dan Bagaimana proses penyelesaian terhadap masyarakat yang tidak setuju terhadap pembebasan lahan dalam pembangunan Jalan Tol Kulon progo Solo- Yogyakarta berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden 71 Tahun 2012.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini adalah penelitian hukum empiris dengan pendekatan sosiologishukum. Jenis dan sumber data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Metode analisis data menggunakan sifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian skripsi ini adalah sebagai berikut 1. Dalam expositions pengadaan tanah untuk pembangunan Jalan Tol Kulon Progo Solo-Yogyakarta telah melalui beberapa tahapan yakni, Perencanaan, Penetapan lokasi, Penyuluhan/ Sosialisasi, Identifikasi dan Inventarisasi, Penilaian, Musyawarah, Pembayaran Ganti Rugi dan Pelepasan Hak. 2. Penyelesaian ganti rugi pengadaan tanah untuk kepentingan umum apabila pemilik tanah tidak sepakat dengan besamya ganti rugi yang telah ditetapkan, menurut pasal 87 Undang-undang Nomor 71 Tahun 2012 bahwa Dalam hal pihak yang berhak menolak bentuk dan/ atau besamya ganli rugi dan tidak mengajukan keberatan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam pasal 86 ayat (3) huruf a, ganti kerugian dapat diambil dalam waktu yang dikehendaki oleh pihak yang berhak dengan surat pengantar dari ketua pelaksana pengadaan tanah, dan menurut pasal 88 Undang-undang Nomor 71 Tahun 2012 bahwa Dalam hal pihak yang berhak menolak bentuk dan/ atau besamya ganti kerugian berdasarkan keputusan pengadilan negeri/ mahkamah agung yang telah memperoleh kekuatan hukum tetap sebagaimana dimaksud dalam pasal 86 ayat (3) huruf b, ganti kerugian dapat diambil oleh pihak yang berhak setiap tetapi membawa surat pengantar dari ketua pelaksana pengadaan tanah.   Kata Kunci : Ganti Rugi, Pengadaan Tanah, Kepentingan Umum

All members of the Kelapa-Mas community work as palm-sugar-maker in Kliwonan, Banjarharjo, Kalibawang District, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The community has been producing palm sugar for generations and selling it to traditional markets around the village. There is a possibility that the community product could be developed to get a wider market and would give a better economic impact on the community. Through the UKDW Service Learning program in 2019, the community has been assisted to increase the value of their palm-sugar product. This assistance is carried out in 4 stages, First: counseling of good and hygienic production processes according to P-IRT standards, Second: assistance to product branding and packaging, Third: counseling and initiation of product marketing through online/digital and offline media, in collaboration with retail stores, and Fourth:  assistance and initiation of an organization, in order to continuing the palm-sugar-maker community to operating and growth independently. The results obtained during the full one-month intensive mentoring period were: the better sugar products with clear & catchy branding, a wider offline marketing network through modern retail and online media, a business license for P-IRT, and a well-structured-organization for management of the Kelapa-Mas palm-sugar household industry community organization
