This study aims to determine the effect of paternal attachment on emotional regulation in late adolescents in Padang City. Paternal attachment is seen as a crucial factor in developing children's emotional regulation skills, particularly during late adolescence, which is the transitional phase toward adulthood. Late adolescence is a crucial period in an individual's psychological development, where the ability to manage and express emotions appropriately determines their mental and social well-being. A strong emotional attachment to a father is believed to provide a foundation of emotional security that helps adolescents regulate their emotional responses to various life pressures and challenges. This study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique and involved 272 late adolescent respondents in Padang City as a sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure the level of paternal attachment and adolescents' emotional regulation skills. Data collection was carried out with attention to the validity and reliability of the instrument so that the research results can be scientifically accounted for. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify the relationship and influence between paternal attachment variables and emotional regulation. The results showed that the level of father attachment in late adolescents was in the moderate category at 53.3%, while their level of emotional regulation was in the high category at 42.3%. These findings indicate that although father attachment did not reach the high category for most, adolescents' emotional regulation abilities were relatively good. Further statistical analysis revealed that there was an influence of father attachment on emotional regulation in late adolescents, but this influence was very weak. This indicates that although father attachment contributes, there are many other factors that play a role in shaping adolescents' emotional regulation abilities, such as attachment to the mother, peer support, education, and individual experiences.

This study examines the relationship between attachment styles and parasocial interaction among K-pop fans, where fans may develop an emotional bond with their idols despite the lack of real reciprocity. Attachment styles influence the level of attachment, with individuals with an anxious attachment style tending to be more emotionally involved and dependent on their idols, while those with an avoidant attachment style maintain more emotional distance. The role of social media in reinforcing the illusion of closeness is also a key focus of this study. The research aims to identify the relationship between attachment styles and parasocial interaction using a quantitative method with a correlation analysis approach. The findings indicate that fans with an anxious attachment style tend to have a more intense emotional bond, actively participate in fandom activities, and are more prone to anxiety when they lack updates about their idols. In contrast, those with an avoidant attachment style still consume idol-related content but with lower emotional involvement. The theoretical implication of this study supports the theories of attachment styles and parasocial interaction, explaining how emotional relationships form between fans and idols. Practically, this study can be used to develop digital literacy programs for K-pop fans to help them manage parasocial relationships in a healthier way, especially for individuals who are more vulnerable to excessive emotional attachment.

There were 139 respondents taken using the total sampling method. The analysis used was the Gamma test. From the analysis of respondent data, it was found that there were an average of 85 male babies. The majority of mothers' ages were in the range of 26-35 years with a percentage of 56.8%, and multiparity parity reached 61.9%. Most of them had education up to junior high school level as much as 42.4%, and most worked as housewives with a percentage of 66.2%. The results of the gamma test showed that there was a relationship between maternal attachment and infant growth and development, where maternal attachment to infant growth had a p-value (BB = 0.000, PB = 0.001), while attachment to infant development showed a p-value (0.000) with (OR = 0.555 and 0.613 CI = 0.726). This means that there is a significant relationship between maternal attachment and infant growth and development in the work area of the Cabean Village Health Center (p-value <0.05).
