Background: Patient safety in hospitals is a crucial aspect in efforts to prevent unwanted events (KTD) that can endanger patients. Unwanted events (KTD) often occur during the patient transfer process in hospitalized patients. Objective: To determine nurses' compliance with the implementation of the sbar method in patient transfers to improve patient safety. Method: This study is a quantitative study with a descriptive approach. The study was conducted in the inpatient ward of Murni Teguh Hospital Medan. The population, namely 252 implementing nurses and 50 samples were obtained. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling. Analysis was carried out univariately in a frequency distribution table. Results: This study shows that the characteristics of nurses at Murni Teguh Hospital Medan are mostly female (92.0%), aged 20-35 years (52.0%), with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (76.0%). Nurses' compliance in carrying out SBAR communication during patient transfers at Murni Teguh Hospital Medan is in the compliant category (60.0%), fairly compliant category (34.0%), and less compliant category (6.0%). Conclusion: Nurses are compliant in implementing the SBAR method during patient transfers to improve patient safety. Suggestion: Nurses at Murni Teguh Hospital Medan are advised to continue to improve their competence in using SBAR communication, especially in critical patient transfer situations.

WHO data shows that one fifth of the world's population are teenagers aged 10-19 years, of which 900 million are in developing countries. Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents tend to become more focused on attracting the attention of the opposite sex in order to gain an understanding of aspects of sexuality. Lack of knowledge about reproductive health can cause various problems, one of which is the occurrence of unwanted pregnancies (KTD), abortion, early marriage and marriage, STIs or STDs and HIV/AIDS. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of reproductive health education on adolescent knowledge about reproductive health at MTs. Miftahul Falah Bekasi in 2023. The research method used is the Pre-experimental One Group With Pre-Post Test Design method. Sampling was taken using purposive sampling as many as 47 respondents. Data analysis used frequency distribution and Wilcoxon test. This research uses primary data from filling out questionnaires by respondents. The results of this study show a p value of 0.102 > 0.05. The conclusion is that Ha is rejected or Ho is accepted, meaning there is no significant influence on providing health education on increasing teenagers' knowledge about reproductive health at MTs. Miftahul Falah Bekasi in 2023. It is hoped that this research will become a reference for increasing teenagers' knowledge about reproductive health and can be used as a reference for increasing knowledge and intensive approaches for teachers and students. It is hoped that the results of this research can serve as policy guidelines for schools to provide comprehensive health education in schools that includes accurate and evidence-based information about reproductive health, including the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, contraceptive methods, and the importance of healthy relationships.

Background: The application of patient safety goals is an effort made by hospitals to improve the quality of health services. Handover activities that are not accompanied by effective communication can cause errors that can harm the patient. Recommendations from WHO require nurses to improve communication patterns, especially when carrying out handovers, namely by using SBAR communication which consists of Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation. Based on the data summary of reported incidents that occurred in the hospital as many as 20 incident cases in the past year, including cases of KTD, KNC, KTC and KPCS. From these incidents, there were 6 cases related to miscommunication during handovers. Some nurses still do not apply the SBAR communication method when carrying out handovers, resulting in cutting/lagging of the information provided and resulting in incidents. Objective:to determine the reltionshipbetween SBAR Communication during handover and the implementation of patient safety at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. Methods: This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all inpatient nurses at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital with total sampling, which consisted of 63 respondents. Results: showed that 41 respondents (65%) used SBAR communication during handovers in the good category and implemented patient safety. Conclusion:This means that the implementation of SBAR communication during the handover is good but not optimal because there are still 35% who have not implemented it. Based on the chi square test, there is a relationship between SBAR communication during handover and the application of patient safety (p=0.000 <0.05). Suggestion:, it is expected that nurses can carry out SBAR communication during handovers effectively so that they can implement patient safety optimallyKeywords : Newbron, Skin wrap, hypothermia.
