Inventory management of raw materials is a crucial aspect in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, as it directly affects the continuity of the production process. This study aims to analyze the raw material inventory accounting system in inventory control at PT Bernofarm Pharmaceutical Company. The methods used include direct observation of operational processes and interviews with management to obtain relevant and accurate data. The results of the study show that PT Bernofarm has implemented an integrated accounting information system within an ERP framework, covering procedures for raw material requisition, issuance, return, and recording of production costs. Each procedure is systematically arranged with clear task separation and is fully computerized. This facilitates internal control and monitoring of raw material flow, while minimizing recording errors. With this effective system, the company is able to avoid both overstocking and stock shortages that could disrupt production. This study is expected to serve as a reference for improving the efficiency and accuracy of raw material inventory management in other pharmaceutical companies.

Inventory control is a crucial element in supporting the smooth production process in manufacturing companies. PT Bonecom Tricom, a producer of automotive spare parts, faces challenges in managing SPP-C05 Black plastic pellets due to inaccurate estimation methods, resulting in material accumulation in storage. This study aims to propose inventory planning using time series and min-max methods to optimize material requirements. The results show that the Holt-Winter's Multiplicative method provides the best forecasting accuracy with the lowest error rate (MAPE) of 2%. Furthermore, implementing the min-max method can reduce inventory costs by 14.245%. This study is expected to serve as a reference for companies to manage material inventory more effectively and efficiently.

The rapid development of the industry has driven the emergence of various technologies that can support the industry, especially in production activities. Production activities are the actions performed by humans to generate a product, be it goods or services, which are then utilized by consumers. These activities operate around the clock to produce products that meet market demand. For smooth production activities, manufacturing industries need to provide raw materials that meet targets and create plans before operating, with inventory levels set to ensure that needs are met in terms of quality, quantity, time, and low cost as planned. PT XYZ is a fruit juice manufacturer with avocado juice being its most popular product. The production of avocado juice was analyzed over the period of 2015-2020 using Vensim software with four scenarios to assess the availability of raw materials. The research findings reveal that the total availability of flour raw materials in 2020 was 10,000 tons; 9,450 tons; 9,500 tons; 10,150 tons; 11,400 tons; 13,250 tons. To address the issue, PT XYZ can monitor fruit stocks and periodically estimate fruit seasons.

CV XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing with production in the form of stacking chairs. This company has a production capacity of 200 units of stacking chairs every day. The company has 3 types of bunk chairs, namely CH-100 KR, CH-200 KR, and CH-200 PC. Customer demand at this company tends to be fluctuating (up and down) which results in the company experiencing difficulties in determining the optimal raw material inventory to meet customer needs. The Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method is an appropriate method for scheduling inventory. The result of this scheduling model is in the form of a master production schedule (JIP) which is used to determine the demand for chair products for the next 6 months. The results of data processing obtained requests for stacking chairs in the next 6 months for the type CH-100 KR 10.724 unit, CH-200 KR of 10.998 unit, and CH-200 PC of 9.687 unit. The demand is then calculated using the MRP approach with LFL and EOQ. An effective material requirements planning method with the lowest cost is to use the Lot For Lot (LFL) method which gives the lowest cost results IDR 7,475,617,611.
