Radio Kardopa 99.4 FM has become an integral part of the lives of the people of North Sumatra by presenting quality programs that combine entertainment and information. However, in the last five years, this radio has faced major challenges due to competition from digital platforms and changes in audience preferences. This research analyzes the marketing strategy implemented by Radio Kardopa to increase the number of advertisements and maintain its relevance in the market. The main strategies include promotion via social media, off-air activities, and personal selling approaches. Research results show that promotion via social media, such as TikTok and Instagram, helps increase visibility, but its effectiveness is not optimal. Off-air activities succeeded in strengthening relationships with local audiences, but were constrained by limited budgets. The personal selling approach remains effective in retaining loyal advertisers, but is less able to attract new advertisers. Fluctuations in the number of advertisements from 2017 to 2023 indicate the need for innovation and more consistent marketing strategies. Recommendations include developing creative content, investing in digital marketing technology, and collaborating with local MSMEs to expand the advertising market.

Kasindir Village is one of the villages in Jorlang Hataran District, Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara. Kasindir Village is a village that carries out agricultural, livestock, and trade activities. Kasindir Village has great potential for developing MSMEs in the village. The development of MSMEs is considered capable of realizing a sustainable economy and supporting local governments in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) program, especially in poverty and hunger eradication programs, sustainable economic growth, and employment. Community service implementers in Kasindir Village observed that MSME actors still require understanding and knowledge on utilizing information technology to advance their businesses. This includes packaging attractive products, providing the latest innovations, and promoting on social media to expand their market. MSME strategy development is able to realize the spirit of the SDGs. In this activity, the methods used to carry out community service activities are socialization and observation methods. Some of the problems faced by creative MSMEs in Kasindir Village include limited capital, raw materials, the use of very simple production equipment, and limited marketing media. Therefore, various parties, both government and private, need to provide support through sustainable business development programs.

Based on the results of the discussion, several important things can be concluded, including: First, digital literacy refers to the ability of MSMEs to use digital technology and communication tools via the internet to obtain business materials and share business information widely. The use of digital technology is considered to be able to increase productivity, turnover and income of MSMEs themselves, and is also part of efforts to maintain business continuity. Second, from an economic literacy perspective, micro, small and medium business actors need fundamental knowledge regarding the basic needs of consumers before producing goods or services as well as analyzing the opportunities and challenges of the business or business they are about to start working on. Third, a business venture that is able to innovate will be able to take the lead and reduce the possibility of competitors innovating earlier. Therefore, business people must prepare an innovation strategy for their business ventures in order to create an advantage over competitors. Then continuous innovation in a company is a fundamental need that will be able to create competitive advantages.
