Stunting remains a chronic nutritional issue affecting human resource quality in Indonesia, particularly children under five years old. High prevalence of stunting impacts long-term cognitive development, physical growth, and productivity of the young generation (Ministry of Health, 2023). This community service aims to optimize the role of public administration in disseminating policies and programs to reduce stunting through education, training, and direct community assistance. Activities were carried out through coordination with government officials, community health cadres, and local leaders, using local communication media to raise awareness about nutrition. The results indicate an increase in community knowledge on stunting, balanced nutrition practices, and active involvement of both officials and residents in stunting reduction programs. Optimizing public administration through capacity building, cross-sector coordination, and information technology utilization supports program targets. This service recommends strategies for sustainable, participatory, and data-driven program implementation.

Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) or Kangaroo Method Care (FMC) is a treatment for premature and low birth weight (LBW) infants with direct skin-to-skin contact, where the mother uses her body temperature to warm the baby. This method of care has also been shown to facilitate breastfeeding, increasing the length and duration of breastfeeding. The goal after the activity is that mothers who have babies and toddlers are exposed to material about Kangaroo Mother Care. IEC community service activities have been carried out in the form of counselling, providing information and education about the benefits of KMC and how to do KMC. This activity is expected not to end in community service activities, but with the leaflet media it can be used as a policy for related villages to develop in the form of applications as a course method for cadres in the health sector so that child health in the area can utilise the application in the implementation of courses for cadres, especially in the health sector.

The government really needs the participation of various parties, namely the business world, the community, Covid-19 volunteers, community leaders and the media. In addition, community behavior is expected to be disciplined in implementing the health protocol, namely 3M (maintaining distance, wearing masks and washing hands frequently), with 3M discipline being the key to strengthening the implementation of 3T (testing, tracing, treatment) down to the village level. In addition, social distancing, long-distance travel restrictions, and proper promotion and education to the public are forms of public health efforts in breaking the chain of the spread of the Corona virus.
