This study examines the integration of religious moderation values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and its impact on students’ religious tolerance in public junior high schools in Padangsidimpuan City. The research is based on the need to foster tolerance, mutual respect, and harmonious coexistence among students from diverse religious and social backgrounds. Using a qualitative field research approach, the study was conducted in several public junior high schools. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving principals, PAI teachers, and students. Data analysis followed the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation. The findings reveal that religious moderation values have been integrated into the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of PAI learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning media and its implications for student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study uses a systematic literature review approach by examining various reputable scientific articles discussing the integration of AI in education and the dynamics of learning motivation in the context of PAI. The results of the study indicate that the use of AI through adaptive learning systems, educational chatbots, gamification, and learning analytics can increase the effectiveness, personalization, and interactivity of learning. This implementation has a positive impact on cognitive motivation through increased conceptual understanding, affective motivation through active participation and emotional engagement, and spiritual motivation through strengthening reflection and internalization of Islamic values. However, ethical challenges, the risk of depersonalization of the teacher's role, and inequality in digital access are crucial issues that require policy attention and human-centered pedagogical design. Theoretically, this study offers an integrative conceptual framework that combines technological innovation with Islamic educational epistemology. Practically, the results of this study provide recommendations for teachers, schools, and policymakers to develop AI-based PAI learning models that are adaptive, ethical, and oriented towards character building.

Madrasahs play a strategic role in shaping the moral character of young generations amid the challenges of the digital era, particularly Generation Alpha, who grow up in an environment dominated by technology. This community service activity aims to analyze and strengthen the role of Madrasah Baitul Mu’minin in Ngemplak Village in forming the moral character (akhlaq) of Generation Alpha through a Qur’anic empowerment approach. This program employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving madrasah caregivers, teachers (ustadz and ustadzah), students, and parents. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that Madrasah Baitul Mu’minin plays a significant role in strengthening the moral character of Generation Alpha through Qur’an-based learning that emphasizes understanding and value implementation, consistent religious habituation, and exemplary behavior of educators. The Qur’anic empowerment approach proved effective in internalizing Qur’anic values and fostering moral awareness among students. Furthermore, the madrasah functions as a moral and spiritual development center that helps counterbalance the negative impacts of digital technology. Pancasila, as the state foundation and the source of all sources of law, has a strategic role in shaping the national education system, including religious-based institutions such as pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) and madrasah diniyah (non-formal Islamic religious schools). This study aims to examine how Pancasila values are internalized into the curriculum, school regulations, and educational practices of pesantren and madrasah diniyah. The research uses a qualitative approach with a library study design. Data were obtained from literature, journals, regulations, and official documents. The findings show that Pancasila provides a normative foundation for the development of pesantren education regulations and serves as an ethical guideline for shaping students’ character. The values of divinity, humanity, unity, deliberation, and social justice are reflected in educational practices, although the implementation is often influenced by local culture and the autonomy of pesantren. In conclusion, Pancasila functions not only as the basic legal norm but also as a source of inspiration for moral and civic education in pesantren and madrasah diniyah.

Indonesia is a diverse nation with a wide range of religions, ethnicities, cultures, languages, and traditions spread across its vast territory from Sabang to Merauke. This diversity, on the one hand, serves as a strength of the nation, yet on the other hand, it also carries the potential for conflict if not managed properly through the practice of tolerance. Students, as agents of change, hold a strategic role in maintaining harmony and peace, both within campus environments and in society at large. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tolerance values among university students in order to achieve peace in a plural society. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing relevant literature on tolerance, students, and social peace. The findings reveal that students’ tolerance can be manifested in academic settings, organizational activities, social interactions, and religious practices. However, its implementation faces challenges such as intolerance, radicalism, identity politics, and the misuse of social media. Strengthening tolerance values can be carried out through multicultural education, character building, and student engagement in cross-cultural and interfaith organizations. Thus, students are not only academic individuals but also moral, social, and intellectual role models who can serve as key drivers in fostering peace and harmony within Indonesia’s diverse society.
