This study aims to determine the effect of educational activities on the management of ARI through infant massage practices on increasing maternal knowledge and reducing complaints of coughs and colds in infants in Majungan Village. The research method used was descriptive with a mixed methods approach (quantitative and qualitative). The study subjects consisted of 25 mothers with infants aged 0–12 months. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results showed that the level of maternal knowledge increased from 28% to 88% after being provided with education and demonstrations of infant massage. In addition, 76% of mothers reported a decrease in complaints of coughs and colds in infants after routine infant massage for one week. Qualitative results indicate that this activity is not only physically beneficial, but also increases the role of mothers in the management of mild ARI and awareness of the importance of cleanliness and environmental health. Thus, education on the management of ARI through infant massage practices can be one of the supporting efforts in maintaining infant health, especially in areas with limited access to health services.

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of the most common health problems among elementary school-aged children and contributes to a high morbidity rate. One of the contributing factors to ARI is the low implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) as an early preventive measure. This community service activity was conducted at State Elementary School 18 Dewantara, Aceh Utara District, targeting 10 fifth-grade students. The method used in this activity was health education through interactive lectures and discussions, accompanied by a pre-test and post-test evaluation using questionnaires. The materials provided included the definition of ARI, risk factors, and the implementation of CHLB such as proper handwashing, personal hygiene maintenance, and correct coughing and sneezing etiquette. The results showed an increase in students’ knowledge after the educational session, with the average score rising from 78% to 88%, indicating an improvement of 10%. This demonstrates that the educational method used was effective in improving students’ understanding of ARI prevention. This activity is expected to foster clean and healthy habits among elementary school students and support promotive and preventive health efforts in the school environment.

Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) is a health problem that still occurs frequently, especially in areas with limited access to health information and knowledge. One effort that can be made to overcome this problem is by providing health education to the community. Health education conducted using interesting and easy-to-understand media, such as audio-visual media, has been proven to be able to increase public understanding more effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual media in health education on increasing the knowledge of the Batu Merah B Hamlet community regarding ARI. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, in which 50 people were selected purposively as the research sample. Data were collected using questionnaires before and after the health education intervention using audio-visual media. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test to examine differences in knowledge before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge after the health education intervention (p < 0.05). The average score of community knowledge increased from 60.2 in the pretest to 83.5 in the posttest. This improvement demonstrates the effectiveness of audiovisual media in conveying information related to acute respiratory infections (ARI) and facilitates public understanding and retention. Therefore, it is recommended that health education using audiovisual media be used more widely in health promotion activities to achieve better results and accelerate changes in public health behavior. Health education using audiovisual media also provides a more interactive and engaging learning experience, thereby increasing community engagement in the learning process.

In fact, if the examination is carried out at an early stage it can reduce a person's death rate. Therefore, it is important to train in breast self-examination (BSE) from a young age. The aim of this education is to increase the knowledge of young women about breast self-examination (BSE) to detect breast cancer. The target of this education is 61 MA Mafaza Bantul students from Classes X to XII. The design of this activity is to carry out one measurement up front (pre test) before the treatment and after that another measurement is carried out (post test). In this activity, the paired T-test is used to determine the influence or relationship between one variable and another variable. The results show that the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, there is an average difference between the pre-test and posttest, so there is an increase in knowledge, attitudes and behavior in young women at MA MAFAZA Bantul, which means there is an influence of training breast self-examination (BSE).

ISPA is an acute infection that attacks one or more parts of the respiratory tract from the nose to the alveoli, including the adnexa. This disease is the main cause of death for infants and toddlers. The high incidence and mortality due to ISPA in babies is caused by various factors, one of which is the mother's knowledge about ISPA. This research aims to determine the effect of health education on the level of maternal knowledge in preventing ISPA in toddlers, Waimital Village, Kairatu District. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with an individual pre-post test design approach. The research sample was determined using the Slovin formula, totaling 129 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The Wilcoxon test results showed that 127 respondents' knowledge increased and 2 respondents' knowledge remained the same, and a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 which means it is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that p value < α (0.000 < 0.05) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of health education on the mother's level of knowledge in preventing ISPA. It was concluded thatThere is an influence of health education on the level of maternal knowledge in preventing ISPA in children under five in Waimital Village.

Acute Respiratory Infection Disease (ARI) is an infectious disease that is still a health problem for children under five in Indonesia and is the highest cause of death rates for children under five. Apart from causing health problems, ARI can also cause death. This activity aims to increase the understanding of cadres and mothers of toddlers about first aid that can be given to ISPA toddlers. The target of this activity is 35 people. The activity method was carried out on May 16 2022 by giving a pre-test, lecture and followed by a post-test by filling out a questionnaire. The evaluation was carried out on cadres, mothers of toddlers by conducting a post test. The results achieved in this activity were that participants gained knowledge about first aid that participants should provide if their toddler suddenly becomes ill, by lying on their lap with the baby's face facing down. Do not restrain the child's body. Tilt the child's body position so that vomit or saliva can come out of the oral cavity, and prevent the tongue from blocking the respiratory tract. Loosen the child's clothing and do not put anything in the child's mouth to prevent tongue biting. Calculate the duration of the febrile seizure and pay attention to the child's behavior during the seizure. Tell this when you consult a doctor.
