This study aims to explore the perceptions of Child Welfare Institutions (LKSA) regarding the Orphan Assistance Program (YAPI), implemented through the SIKS-GIS application. A qualitative approach was employed, involving subjects such as Social Service officials, LKSA administrators, and children who benefit from the program. The focus of the research is on LKSA's perceptions of the SIKS-GIS application, with data collected through interviews and observations, and validated using source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that the YAPI program is well-received by orphaned children in Karanganyar, positively impacting their emotional well-being and daily needs. WebGIS is a web-based Geographic Information System consisting of several interrelated components. WebGIS is a combination of graphic mapping design, digital maps with geographic analysis, computer programming, and a database that are interconnected into one part of web design and mapping web. WebGIS is a GIS application distributed in a computer network to integrate and disseminate geographic information visually on the world wide web. The objectives achieved in this study are to identify the types of tourism distribution on Sipora Island, Mentawai Islands Regency and to design and build a tourism object information system on Sipora Island, Mentawai Islands Regency based on webGIS. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that based on the survey results, there are 22 points. Waterfall tourism consists of 7 tours, cultural tourism consists of 2, beach tourism consists of 8 and marine tourism consists of 5. Where the tourism is spread across 2 sub-districts. Where in the North Sipora sub-district there are 15 points and South Sipora 7 points. Design and Build a tourism information system for Sipora Island, Mentawai Islands Regency using Quantum GIS as initial data processing. Then combined with a website that has been designed using the Visual Studio Code application.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become essential technological tools for collecting, storing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data to support various human activities. The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly expanded the use of GIS, particularly through web-based platforms and mobile applications, enabling wider accessibility and real-time data utilization. This study focuses on analyzing the utilization of GIS applications and websites across multiple sectors and their contributions to improving efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making processes in daily life. The main objective of this research is to identify, evaluate, and synthesize recent developments in GIS implementation through a systematic literature review. Scientific articles were collected from reputable international and national journals published within the last five years (2018–2022). A total of 130 international journals and 100 national journals were initially identified through database searches. After applying relevance screening and inclusion criteria, 33 selected articles were analyzed in depth to extract key findings, application trends, and potential research gaps. The results show that GIS applications and web-based systems play a vital role in supporting various sectors. In education, GIS facilitates spatial mapping for industrial internship placement (PRAKERIN) and school zoning management. In healthcare, GIS assists in mapping healthcare facilities, including pharmacies and hospitals, to improve service accessibility. In transportation, GIS-based systems provide route planning, traffic monitoring, and public transport information to enhance mobility and reduce congestion. GIS applications are also increasingly applied in environmental monitoring, disaster management, urban planning, and natural resource management. Overall, this study emphasizes the growing importance of GIS technologies as strategic tools for data-driven decision-making and sustainable development. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in optimizing GIS-based solutions to improve public services and quality of life.

The coastline changes from time to time in line with natural changes such as wave activity, and sediment. This study aims to determine the changes in coastline on the coast of Pati Regency in 2015-2024. The research method utilises Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing technology by taking Landsat-8 satellite image data processed using ArcGis application then calculated using Haversin Formula and Euclidean Distance calculation. The results showed that the largest shoreline change was found in transect 3 located in Dukuhseti Subdistrict, Kembang Village with a value of 453.92 metres within 10 years and the smallest shoreline change value occurred in transect 8 located in Tayu Subdistrict, Tunggulsari Village with a change value of 2.41 metres within 10 years.

Research carried out by KKN students in the form of community service aims to facilitate public access to location points in a place or region through public facilities in Pancuran Gading Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This research was carried out using an implementation technique in the form of Participatory Action Research (PAR) Method (Participatory Action Research) with three principles which serve as a reference for service research. In carrying out the mapping of the coordinates of public facilities in Pancuran Gading Village, the research we carried out was coordinated by the village, namely Mr. Hari Isnaldi as Secretary of Pancuran Gading Village, Tapung District. Villages are seen as the starting point for empowering regional potential. With this village potential mapping, it can be used to find out existing potential information, and can be used as material for village development planning. This potential map was created using digital mapping technology in the form of the QGIS application which is viewed through a map and then created manually in the application. With the success of the students, they created a map as a means used by the community to access public facilities or places in Pancuran Gading Village.

Limboto Subdistrict, which is the capital of Gorontalo Regency, has fairly high population growth and is an area that is vulnerable to the effects of drought. This causes the availability of groundwater to decrease. This study aims to utilize the GIS application to determine the pattern of groundwater flow in the Limboto District. This groundwater flow pattern can be used as a reference for further research related to groundwater. The type of data in this study is the type of primary data. The method used in this research is a survey method, namely by measuring directly in the field. The data analysis technique used to determine the pattern of groundwater flow in Limboto Regency is utilizing software (GIS) using ArcGIS 10.7 software to obtain a map of groundwater flow patterns in Limboto District. The results of the spatial analysis of the groundwater flow pattern map in Limboto District show that water flows from the northern part of the study site to the southern part of the study site.

The availability of village maps contained in the village, Tacim, Susupu village, Ropu Tengah Balu village, Lako Akelamo village and Lako Akediri village that are valid and reliable is the forerunner of the determination of village boundaries at the level above it, and is a fundamental database in realizing village development goals. The purpose of devotion; providing understanding and training to the village government, the importance of village maps, for making village policies and planning by looking at data or maps for the progress of the village. The method of implementing pkm activities using the method of work / art methhods is a method that can be used for the benefit of the community and uses the Method of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Training.  The results of the service were carried out on May 21, 2022, located in the village of Ropu Tengah Balu. This activity was held on Saturday at 20.00. until it was completed, there were 30 participants. To advance the village, it is necessary to increase the capacity of the village government, so that there are adequate human resources to promote the village, the village government through the village kepala must conduct trainings to village officials, to the community and youth shops.
