This community service activity aims to improve the First Aid Awareness of students at SMAN 5 Tegal through health education and first aid simulation for accident management. The background of this program is based on the high potential for mild to moderate emergency incidents in the school environment, such as fainting, open wounds, nosebleeds, choking, and seizures, as well as the limited knowledge and practical skills of students in providing appropriate initial assistance. The implementation method consisted of three stages: preparation, delivery of health education using presentations and demonstrations, and hands-on simulation, followed by evaluation through knowledge assessment and skills observation. The participants were 54 students representing three grade levels. The expected outcomes of this activity include an improvement in students’ conceptual understanding and practical ability to perform first aid quickly, correctly, and safely before professional medical help arrives. In addition, this program is expected to foster emergency responsiveness, increase students’ confidence in handling accident situations at school, and contribute to the development of a safer and more prepared school environment. The outputs of this activity include increased knowledge and skill scores, documented implementation, and publication of a community service article in a SINTA-indexed journal.

Choking is a dangerous thing for children, especially children with special needs who require proper handling, and parents as the closest people to the child must have first aid skills for choking. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of ANSIVI (Animation and Simulation Video) Choking Management on parents' ability in first aid for choking. The research design was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach without control. The purposive sampling technique obtained 36 respondents. The research instrument used an observation sheet for first aid for choking. The statistical test was the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with α 0.05. The results of the study before being given the ANSIVI (Animation and Simulation Video) Choking Management intervention showed that all (100%) respondents had insufficient ability, and after the intervention the majority (52.8%) of respondents had sufficient ability. The results of the statistical analysis obtained a p-value of 0.013 < α 0.05, so there is an effect of ANSIVI (Animation and Simulation Video) choking management on parents' ability in first aid for choking. The ANSIVI method (Video Animation and Simulation) combines two methods so that it is more interesting, interactive, and effective because the video is captured by the eyes and ears and then will be detected and converted into signals to the optic nerve and auditory nerve and forwarded to the brain, program area, and frontal area to be associated so that it will affect the respondent's ability. The ANSIVI method can be used in education for all parents and school residents as a first aid effort for choking, especially for children with special needs.

This research aims to comprehensively describe and understand the utilization of the SINKARKES system (Ship and Health Information System) in the issuance of the Ship Sanitation Control Exemption Certificate (SSCEC) and the First Aid for Accidents (P3K) Certificate for vessels managed by PT. Surya Samudera Indah Batam. Compliance with ship sanitation and health standards is a mandatory prerequisite for preventing disease spread and ensuring occupational safety in accordance with prevailing regulations. The research methodology employed is field research (field research) to observe direct operational procedures in the field, supplemented by literature review (library research) to strengthen the theoretical and regulatory foundations of the Ministry of Health. The findings indicate that the process of issuing the certificates through SINKARKES begins with agent login access to the official application (sinakarkes.kemkes.go.id) using a registered company account. Subsequently, the agent submits an application for SSCEC and P3K issuance, followed by the completion of data and the uploading of mandatory supporting documents. These documents include the Maritime Health Declaration (MDH), previous SSCC/SSCEC certificates, the P3K certificate, crew list, voyage memo, and the list of last ports of call. Once the documents are verified, the Special Health Quarantine Officer (KarKessus) proceeds to conduct a physical survey onboard the vessel. The main obstacle encountered is poor internet network connectivity in the port area, which often leads to data input failures and double entry errors during certificate printing.

Dehydration occurs when the body loses too much water and essential fluids in the body. Diarrhea is the main cause of dehydration in toddlers. Toddlers often get diarrhea because their immune system is still vulnerable. If the problem of dehydration is not addressed immediately, it can lead to other health problems such as shock risk. This study aims to determine the effect of video education and demonstration on the ability of first aid dehydration due to diarrhea in mothers with children 0-5 years in Siding Tuban Village. The research design used was Pre Experimental with a one group pretest-postest approach, a sample of 16 respondents taken from 66 populations through Purposive Sampling. Research instrument Ability was measured by observation sheet and analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank test (α=0.05). Before the intervention, 93.8% of respondents had poor skills and after the intervention, 100% of respondents had good skills, which showed an increase in the value of dehydration first aid skills. The results of the analysis obtained p-value=0.000 (<α), meaning that there is an effect of education on the ability of first aid for dehydration due to diarrhea in children. Health education is a crucial aspect of guiding learners about health in a broad range, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. Schools, being environments where students are exposed to various hazards, are particularly vulnerable to accidents. First aid education is essential in preventing injuries and ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. This study aims to evaluate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) based First Aid health education on the knowledge of Youth Red Cross (PMR) members at Titian Teras State Senior High School, Jambi City. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with one pretest-posttest group without a control group. A total of 50 PMR members were involved, divided into an intervention group (n=25) and a control group (n=25). The intervention group received AR-based First Aid health education, while the control group received conventional methods. Data collection was conducted using a knowledge assessment tool, and pre- and post-test analyses were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the intervention group's knowledge. After the intervention, 80% of respondents in the intervention group achieved the "good" category, compared to only 36% in the control group. The Mann-Whitney test confirmed the significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05), indicating that the AR-based First Aid health education was more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. This study concludes that AR-based First Aid health education is more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. The integration of AR technology in health education highlights its potential in enhancing learning outcomes and improving the preparedness of students in responding to emergencies. The findings suggest that AR can be a valuable tool in health education, particularly in first aid training, by providing an immersive and interactive learning experience that enhances both knowledge and skills acquisition.
